Isaiah 34
1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and ye people, hearken: let the earth hear, and all that filleth it; the world, and all things that spring forth of it.
Paduol, kamo nga mga nasod, ug paminaw; hatagi kinig pagtagad, kamong katawhan! Ang kalibotan ug ang tanang naglukop niini angay nga maminaw, ang kalibotan, ug ang tanang butang nga gikan niini.
2 For the indignation of the Lord is [enkindled] over all the nations, and his fury over all their army: he hath devoted them, he hath given them up to the slaughter:
Tungod kay nasuko si Yahweh sa tanang kanasoran, ug napungot batok sa tanan nilang mga kasundalohan; gilaglag niya sila sa hingpit, gitugyan niya sila sa kamatayon.
3 And their slain also shall be cast out, and as regardeth their carcasses their stench shall ascend upward, and the mountains shall be melted through their blood.
Ipanglabay gayod ang ilang patayng lawas. Ang baho sa ilang mga patayng lawas moabot bisan asa; ug mapuno sa ilang dugo ang kabukiran.
4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together like a book: and all their host shall wither, as the leaf withereth from the vine, and as withering fruit from the fig-tree.
Mangahanaw ang tanang kabituonan sa kalangitan, ug malukot ang langit sama sa linukot nga basahon; ug mangahanaw gayod ang tanan nilang kabituonan, sama sa dahon nga mangalarag gikan sa paras, ug ingon sa hilabihan ka hinog nga igos gikan sa kahoy nga igera.
5 For my sword is sated in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Edom, and upon the people I have devoted to punishment.
Tungod kay kung malukop na sa akong espada ang langit; tan-awa, mokanaog kini ngadto sa Edom, ngadto sa katawhan nga akong gilain alang sa kalaglagan.
6 The sword of the Lord is full of blood, it is enriched with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
Nagtulo ang dugo gikan sa espada ni Yahweh ug naputos kini ug tambok, nagtulo sa dugo sa mga karnero ug mga kanding, natabonan sa tambok sa rinyon sa mga torong karnero. Tungod kay naghalad si Yahweh didto sa Bozra ug daghang gipamatay didto sa yuta sa Edom.
7 And wild oxen shall sink down with them, and steers with bullocks; and their land shall be sated with blood, and their dust enriched with fat.
Pamatyon nila ang mga ihalas nga baka, uban ang nati ug torong baka. Mahubog sa dugo ang ilang yuta, ug ang ilang abog mobaga uban sa tambok.
8 For it is the day of vengeance unto the Lord, and the year of recompense for the controversy of Zion.
Tungod kay mao kini ang adlaw sa pagpanimalos alang kang Yahweh ug ang tuig nga paninglan nila sila pag-usab tungod sa Zion.
9 And its brooks shall be changed into pitch, and its dust into sulfur, and its land shall become burning pitch.
Mahimong alkitran ang kasapaan sa Edom ug ang iyang abo ngadto sa asupre, ug ang iyang yuta mahimong sinunog nga alkitran.
10 Night and day shall it not be quenched; for ever shall ascend the smoke thereof: from generation to generation shall it lie waste; no one shall for ever and ever pass through it.
Magsiga kini adlaw ug gabii; moutbo ang aso niini hangtod sa hangtod; gikan sa kaliwatan hangtod sa kaliwatan ug mahimo kining biniyaan nga yuta; wala nay bisan usa nga moagi niini hangtod sa kahangtoran.
11 But pelican and hedgehog shall take possession of it; night-owl also and raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out over it the line of destruction, and the weights of desolation.
Apan mamuyo didto ang ihalas nga mga langgam ug mga mananap; ang kuwago ug ang uwak magsalag didto. Pagainaton niya ibabaw niini ang igsusukod sa pagkagun-ob ug ang tunton sa kalaglagan.
12 Their nobles—no one is there they could call [to] the kingdom, and all its princes shall be no more.
Wala na gayoy mahibilin nga pagatawgon nga gingharian ang iyang mga pangulo, mahimong walay pulos ang tanan niyang mga prinsipe.
13 And thorns shall spring up in its palaces, nettles and brambles in its fortresses: and it shall be a habitation of monsters, and a court for ostriches.
Manurok ang mga tunok diha sa iyang palasyo, ang mga kudyapa ug ang mga sampinit diha sa iyang mga kota. Mahimo kining puloy-anan sa mga ihalas nga iro, ug dapit sa mga ostrits.
14 And the martens shall meet with the jackals, and one goat shall call to his fellow; only the screech-owl shall rest there, and find for herself a place of repose.
Magtagbo didto ang ihalas nga mananap ug ang ihalas nga iro, ug magtawag sa usag-usa ang ihalas nga mga kanding. Makakaplag ug dapit nga kapahulayan ang mga mananap nga mutongha sa kagabhion ug mamuyo didto.
15 There shall nestle the arrow-snake, and lay eggs, and hatch, and gather its young under its shadow: only vultures shall assemble there, every one with her mate.
Maghimo ug salag ang mga kuwago, mangitlog ug mamusa, ug panalipdan ang mga pispis niini. Oo, magkatigom ang mga uwak didto, ang matag-usa uban sa iyang paris.
16 Inquire out of the book of the Lord, and read: not one of these shall be absent, not one shall miss her mate; for my mouth it is that hath ordained it, and its breath it is that hath gathered them.
Pangitaa pinaagi sa linukot nga basahon ni Yahweh; walay bisan usa nga mawala niini. Walay nakulangan sa iyang kaparis; tungod kay ang iyang baba ang nagmando niini, ug ang iyang espiritu ang nagtapok kanila.
17 And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it out unto them by the measuring line: for ever shall they possess it, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
Nagripa siya alang sa ilang mga dapit, ug gisukod niya kini pinaagi sa higot alang kanila. Panag-iyahon nila kini hangtod sa hangtod; mamuyo sila didto gikan sa kaliwatan hangtod sa mosunod nga mga kaliwatan.
