< Psalms 22 >
1 For the end, concerning the morning aid, a Psalm of David. O God, my God, attend to me: why have you forsaken me? the account of my transgressions is far from my salvation.
Abụ Ọma dịrị onyeisi abụ. Nʼusoro olu abụ nke “Nne ele nke ụtụtụ.” Abụ Ọma Devid. Chineke m, Chineke m, gịnị mere i jiri hapụ m? Gịnị mere i ji nọ ebe dị anya ịzọpụta m, nʼebe dị anya site nʼịsụ ude m niile?
2 O my God, I will cry to you by day, but you will not hear: and by night, and [it shall] not [be accounted] for folly to me.
O Chineke m, ana m akpọku gị nʼehihie, ma ị dịghị aza m, nʼabalị kwa, ma ọ dịghị izuike m nwere.
3 But you, the praise of Israel, dwell in a sanctuary.
Nʼezie, i nọ nʼocheeze gị dịka Onye ahụ dị Nsọ; ị bụ otuto ndị Izrel.
4 Our fathers hoped in you; they hoped, and you did deliver them.
Nna anyị ha tụkwasịrị gị obi; ha tụkwasịrị gị obi, ị zọpụtakwara ha.
5 They cried to you, and were saved: they hoped in you, and were not ashamed.
Ha kpọkuru gị si otu a bụrụ ndị a zọpụtara; ihere emeghị ha nʼihi na ha tụkwasịrị gị obi.
6 But I am a worm, and not a man; a reproach of men, and scorn of the people.
Abụ m idide, abụghị m mmadụ; onye ndị ọzọ na-akwa emo, onye ndị mmadụ na-eleda anya.
7 All that saw me mocked me: they spoke with [their] lips, they shook the head, [saying],
Ndị niile hụrụ m na-achị m ọchị; na-emiri m ọnụ ịkwa emo, na-efufekwa isi ha na-asị.
8 He hoped in the Lord: let him deliver him, let him save him, because he takes pleasure in him.
“O na-atụkwasị Onyenwe anyị obi; ka Onyenwe anyị bịa gbapụta ya. Ya napụta ya ebe ọ bụ na ihe ya masịrị ya.”
9 For you are he that drew me out of the womb; my hope from my mother's breasts.
