Psalms 148
1 Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise you the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the highest.
ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो! आसमान पर से ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो, बुलंदियों पर उसकी हम्द करो!
2 Praise you him, all his angels: praise you him, all his hosts.
ऐ उसके फ़िरिश्तो! सब उसकी हम्द करो। ऐ उसके लश्करो! सब उसकी हम्द करो!
3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you stars and light.
ऐ सूरज! ऐ चाँद! उसकी हम्द करो। ऐ नूरानी सितारों! सब उसकी हम्द करो
4 Praise him, you heavens of heavens, and the water that is above the heavens.
ऐ फ़लक — उल — फ़लाक! उसकी हम्द करो! और तू भी ऐ फ़ज़ा पर के पानी!
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he spoke, and they were made; he commanded, and they were created.
यह सब ख़ुदावन्द के नाम की हम्द करें, क्यूँकि उसने हुक्म दिया और यह पैदा हो गए।
6 He has established them for ever, even for ever and ever: he has made an ordinance, and it shall not pass away.
उसने इनको हमेशा से हमेशा तक के लिए क़ाईम किया है; उसने अटल क़ानून मुक़र्रर कर दिया है।
7 Praise the Lord from the earth, you serpents, and all deeps.
ज़मीन पर से ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो ऐ अज़दहाओं और सब गहरे समन्दरो!
8 Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy wind; the things that perform his word.
ऐ आग और ओलो! ऐ बर्फ़ और कुहर ऐ तूफ़ानी हवा! जो उसके कलाम की ता'लीम करती है।
9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
ऐ पहाड़ो और सब टीलो! ऐ मेवादार दरख़्तो और सब देवदारो!
10 wild beasts, and all cattle; reptiles, and winged birds:
ऐ जानवरो और सब चौपायो! ऐ रेंगने वालो और परिन्दो!
11 kings of the earth, and all peoples; princes, and all judges of the earth:
ऐ ज़मीन के बादशाहो और सब उम्मतों! ऐ उमरा और ज़मीन के सब हाकिमों!
12 young men and virgins, old men with youths:
ऐ नौजवानो और कुंवारियो! ऐ बूढ़ों और बच्चो!
13 let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name only is exalted; his praise is above the earth and heaven,
यह सब ख़ुदावन्द के नाम की हम्द करें, क्यूँकि सिर्फ़ उसी का नाम मुम्ताज़ है। उसका जलाल ज़मीन और आसमान से बुलन्द है।
14 and he shall exalt the horn of his people, [there is] a hymn for all his saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people who draw near to him.
और उसने अपने सब पाक लोगों या'नी अपनी मुक़र्रब क़ौम बनी इस्राईल के फ़ख़्र के लिए, अपनी क़ौम का सींग बुलन्द किया। ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो!
