Numbers 26
1 And it came to pass after the plague, that the Lord spoke to Moses and Eleazar the priest, saying,
கொள்ளைநோய் நீங்கியபின் யெகோவா மோசேயிடமும் ஆரோனின் மகனான ஆசாரியன் எலெயாசாரிடமும் கூறியதாவது,
2 Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, according to the houses of their lineage, every one that goes forth to battle in Israel.
“நீங்கள் முழு இஸ்ரயேல் சமுதாயத்தையும் குடும்பம் குடும்பமாக குடிமதிப்பிடுங்கள். இஸ்ரயேலின் இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதும் உடையவர்களைக் கணக்கிடுங்கள்” என்றார்.
3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke in Araboth of Moab at the Jordan by Jericho, saying,
எனவே மோசேயும், ஆசாரியன் எலெயாசாரும் யோர்தானுக்கு அருகே, எரிகோவுக்கு எதிராகவுள்ள மோவாப் சமவெளியில் அவர்களுடன் பேசினார்கள்.
4 [This is the numbering] from twenty years old and upward as the Lord commanded Moses. And the sons of Israel that came out of Egypt [are as follows]:
“யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடி உங்களில் இருபது வயதும் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதும் உடையவர்களைக் குடிமதிப்பிடுங்கள்” என்றார்கள். எகிப்திலிருந்து வெளியேவந்த இஸ்ரயேலர் இவர்களே:
5 Ruben [was] the firstborn of Israel: and the sons of Ruben, Enoch, and the family of Enoch; to Phallu belongs the family of the Phalluites.
இஸ்ரயேலின் மூத்த மகனான ரூபனின் சந்ததிகளாவன, ஆனோக் மூலமாக ஆனோக்கிய வம்சமும், பல்லூ மூலமாக பல்லூவிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
6 To Asron, the family of Asroni: to Charmi, the family of Charmi.
எஸ்ரோன் மூலமாக எஸ்ரோனிய வம்சமும், கர்மீயின் மூலமாக கர்மீய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
7 These [are] the families of Ruben; and their numbering was forty-three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
ரூபனின் வம்சங்கள் இவைகளே: 43,730 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
8 And the sons of Phallu [were] Eliab, —
பல்லூவின் மகன் எலியாப்,
9 and the sons of Eliab, Namuel, and Dathan, and Abiron: these [are] renowned men of the congregation; these are they that rose up against Moses and Aaron in the gathering of Core, in the rebellion against the Lord.
எலியாபின் மகன்கள் நெமுயேல், தாத்தான், அபிராம் என்பவர்கள். இஸ்ரயேல் சமுதாயத்திற்கு அதிகாரிகளாயிருந்த தாத்தானும் அபிராமுமே மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் எதிர்த்துக் கலகம் பண்ணினார்கள். கோராகைப் பின்பற்றியவர்கள் யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கலகம்பண்ணியபோது இவர்களும் அவர்களோடிருந்தார்கள்.
10 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up them and Core, when their assembly perished, when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty, and they were made a sign.
பூமி பிளவுண்டு கோராகுடன் சேர்த்து அவர்களை விழுங்கிப்போட்டது. நெருப்பு 250 பேரை சுட்டெரித்தபோது, கோராகைப் பின்பற்றியவர்களும் செத்தார்கள். அந்த நிகழ்ச்சி இஸ்ரயேலுக்கு ஒரு எச்சரிப்பின் அடையாளமாய் இருந்தது.
11 But the sons of Core died not.
ஆனாலும், கோராகின் சந்ததிகள் எல்லோருமே சாகவில்லை.
12 And the sons of Symeon: —the family of the sons of Symeon: to Namuel, [belonged] the family of the Namuelites; to Jamin the family of the Jaminites; to Jachin the family of the Jachinites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக சிமியோனின் சந்ததிகளாவன. நெமுயேல் மூலமாக நெமுயேலின் வம்சமும், யாமின் மூலமாக யாமினிய வம்சமும், யாகீன் மூலமாக யாகீனிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
13 To Zara the family of the Zaraites; to Saul the family of the Saulites.
சேராகின் மூலமாக சேராகிய வம்சமும், சாவூலின் மூலமாக சாவூலிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
14 These [are] the families of Symeon according to their numbering, two and twenty thousand and two hundred.
சிமியோனின் வம்சங்கள் இவையே. 22,200 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
15 And the sons of Juda, Er and Aunan; and Er and Aunan died in the land of Chanaan.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக காத்தின் சந்ததிகளாவன: சிப்போனின் மூலமாக சிப்போனிய வம்சமும், அகியின் மூலமாக அகியரின் வம்சமும், சூனியின் மூலமாக சூனியரின் வம்சமும் வந்தன.
16 And these were the sons of Juda, according to their families: to Selom [belonged] the family of the Selonites; to Phares, the family of the Pharesites; to Zara, the family of the Zaraites.
ஒஸ்னியின் மூலமாக ஒஸ்னிய வம்சமும், ஏரியின் மூலமாக ஏரிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
17 And the sons of Phares were, to Asron, the family of the Asronites; to Jamun, the family of the Jamunites.
ஆரோதியின் மூலமாக ஆரோதிய வம்சமும், அரேலியின் மூலமாக அரேலிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
18 These [are] the families of Juda according to their numbering, seventy-six thousand and five hundred.
காத்தின் வம்சங்கள் இவையே. 40,500 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
19 And the sons of Issachar according to their families: to Thola, the family of the Tholaites; to Phua, the family of the Phuaites.
ஏர், ஓனான் ஆகியோர் யூதாவின் மகன்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் கானான் நாட்டில் இறந்துபோனார்கள்.
20 To Jasub, the family of the Jasubites; to Samram, the family of the Samramites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக யூதாவின் சந்ததிகளாவன: சேலாவின் மூலமாக சேலாவிய வம்சமும், பாரேஸின் மூலமாக பாரேஸிய வம்சமும், சேராவின் மூலமாக, சேராவிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
21 These [are] the families of Issachar according to their numbering, sixty-four thousand and four hundred.
பாரேஸின் சந்ததிகளாவன: எஸ்ரோன் மூலமாக எஸ்ரோனிய வம்சமும், ஆமூலின் மூலமாக ஆமூலிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
22 The sons of Zabulon according to their families: to Sared, the family of the Saredites; to Allon, the family of the Allonites; to Allel, the family of the Allelites.
யூதாவின் வம்சங்கள் இவையே. 76,500 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
23 These [are] the families of Zabulon according to their numbering, sixty thousand and five hundred.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக இசக்காரின் சந்ததிகளாவன: தோலாவின் மூலமாக தோலாவிய வம்சமும், பூவாவின் மூலமாக பூவாவிய வம்சமும் உண்டாயின.
24 The sons of Gad according to their families: to Saphon, the family of the Saphonites; to Angi, the family of the Angites; to Suni, the family of the Sunites;
யாசூபின் மூலமாக யாசூபிய வம்சமும், சிம்ரோனின் மூலமாக சிம்ரோனிய வம்சமும் உண்டாயின.
25 to Azeni, the family of the Azenites; to Addi, the family of the Addites:
இசக்காரின் வம்சங்கள் இவையே. 64,300 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
26 to Aroadi, the family of the Aroadites; to Ariel, the family of the Arielites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக செபுலோன் சந்ததிகளாவன: சேரேத்தின் மூலமாக செரேத்திய வம்சமும், ஏலோனின் மூலமாக ஏலோனிய வம்சமும், யாலயேலின் மூலமாக யாலயேலிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
27 These [are] the families of the children of Gad according to their numbering, forty-four thousand and five hundred.
செபுலோனின் வம்சங்கள் இவையே. 60,500 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
28 The sons of Aser according to their families; to Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; to Jesu, the family of the Jesusites; to Baria, the family of the Bariaites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக மனாசே, எப்பிராயீம் வழியாக வந்த யோசேப்பின் சந்ததிகளாவன:
29 To Chober, the family of the Choberites; to Melchiel, the family of the Melchielites.
மனாசேயின் சந்ததிகள்: மாக்கீரின் மூலமாக மாகீரிய வம்சம் வந்தது. மாகீர், கீலேயாத்தின் தகப்பன் கீலேயாத்தின் வழியாக கீலேயாத்திய வம்சம் வந்தது.
30 And the name of the daughter of Aser, Sara.
கீலேயாத்தின் சந்ததிகளாவன: ஈயேசேரின் மூலமாக ஈயேசேரியரின் வம்சமும், ஏலேக்கின் மூலமாக ஏலேக்கிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
31 These [are] the families of Aser according to their numbering, forty-three thousand and four hundred.
அஸ்ரியேலின் மூலமாக அஸ்ரியேலிய வம்சமும், சீகேமின் மூலமாக சீகேமிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
32 The sons of Joseph according to their families, Manasse and Ephraim.
செமிதாவின் மூலமாக செமிதாவிய வம்சமும், எப்பேரின் மூலமாக ஏப்பேரிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
33 The sons of Manasse. To Machir the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Galaad: to Galaad, the family of the Galaadites.
எப்பேரின் மகனான செலொப்பியாத்திற்கு மகன்கள் இருக்கவில்லை. அவனுக்கு மகள்கள் மட்டுமே இருந்தார்கள். அவர்களின் பெயர்கள் மக்லாள், நோவாள், ஒக்லாள், மில்காள், திர்சாள் என்பனவாகும்.
34 And these [are] the sons of Galaad; to Achiezer, the family of the Achiezerites; to Cheleg, the family of the Chelegites.
மனாசேயின் வம்சங்கள் இவைகளே: 52,700 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
35 To Esriel, the family of the Esrielites; to Sychem, the family of the Sychemites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக எப்பிராயீம் சந்ததிகளாவன: சுத்தெலாகின் மூலமாக சுத்தெலாகிய வம்சமும், பெகேரின் மூலமாக பெகேரிய வம்சமும், தாகானின் மூலமாக தாகானிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
36 To Symaer, the family of the Symaerites; and to Opher, the family of the Opherites.
சுத்தெலாதின் சந்ததிகளாவன: ஏரானின் மூலமாக ஏரானிய வம்சம் வந்தது.
37 And to Salpaad the son of Opher there were no sons, but daughters: and these [were] the names of the daughters of Salpaad; Mala, and Nua, and Egla, and Melcha, and Thersa.
எப்பிராயீமின் வம்சங்கள் இவைகளே. 32,500 பேர் அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டார்கள். வம்சம் வம்சமாக இவர்கள் யோசேப்பின் சந்ததிகளாவர்.
38 These [are] the families of Manasse according to their numbering, fifty-two thousand and seven hundred.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக பென்யமீன் சந்ததிகளாவன: பேலாவின் மூலமாக பேலாவிய வம்சமும், அஸ்பேலின் மூலமாக அஸ்பேலின் வம்சமும், அகிராமின் மூலமாக அகிராமிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
39 And these [are] the children of Ephraim; to Suthala, the family of the Suthalanites; to Tanach, the family of the Tanachites.
சுப்பாமின் மூலமாக சுப்பாமிய வம்சமும், உப்பாமின் மூலமாக உப்பாமிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
40 These [are] the sons of Suthala; to Eden, the family of the Edenites.
ஆர்த், நாகமான் மூலமாக வந்த பேலாவின் சந்ததிகளாவன: ஆரேதின் மூலமாக ஆரேதிய வம்சமும், நாகமானின் மூலமாக நாகமானிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
41 These [are] the families of Ephraim according to their numbering, thirty-two thousand and five hundred: these [are] the families of the children of Joseph according to their families.
பென்யமீனின் வம்சங்கள் இவையே: 45,600 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
42 The sons of Benjamin according to their families; to Bale, the family of the Balites; to Asyber, the family of the Asyberites; to Jachiran, the family of the Jachiranites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக தாணின் சந்ததிகளாவன: சூகாமின் மூலமாக சூகாமிய வம்சம் உண்டாயிற்று. தாணின் வம்சங்களாவன;
43 To Sophan, the family of the Sophanites.
அவர்கள் அனைவரும் சூகாமிய வம்சத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள். 64,400 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
44 And the sons of Bale were Adar and Noeman; to Adar, the family of the Adarites; and to Noeman, the family of the Noemanites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக ஆசேரின் சந்ததிகளாவன: இம்னாவின் மூலமாக இம்னாவிய வம்சமும்; இஸ்வியின் மூலமாக இஸ்விய வம்சமும்; பெரீயாவின் மூலமாக பெரீயாவிய வம்சமும் வந்தன;
45 These [are] the sons of Benjamin by their families according to their numbering, thirty-five thousand and five hundred.
பெரீயா சந்ததியின் மூலமாக வந்தவர்கள்: ஏபேரின் மூலமாக ஏபேரிய வம்சமும், மல்கியேலின் மூலமாக மல்கியேலிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
46 And the sons of Dan according to their families; to Same, the family of the Sameites; these [are] the families of Dan according to their families.
ஆசேருக்கு செராக்கு என்னும் பெயருள்ள ஒரு மகள் இருந்தாள்.
47 All the families of Samei according to their numbering, sixty-four thousand and four hundred.
ஆசேரின் வம்சங்கள் இவைகளே: 53,400 பேர். அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
48 The sons of Nephthali according to their families; to Asiel, the family of the Asielites; to Gauni, the family of the Gaunites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக நப்தலியின் சந்ததிகளாவன: யாத்சியேலின் மூலமாக யாத்சியேலிய வம்சமும்; கூனியின் மூலமாக கூனியரின் சந்ததியும் வந்தன;
49 To Jeser, the family of the Jeserites; to Sellem, the family of the Sellemites.
எத்செரின் மூலமாக எத்சேரிய வம்சமும், சில்லேமின் மூலமாக சில்லேமிய வம்சமும் உண்டாயின.
50 These [are] the families of Nephthali, according to their numbering, forty thousand and three hundred.
நப்தலியின் வம்சங்கள் இவையே. 45,400 பேர் அவர்களில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
51 This [is] the numbering of the children of Israel, six hundred and one thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
இஸ்ரயேலிய மனிதர்களின் மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை 6,01,730 பேர்.
52 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
யெகோவா மோசேயிடம் சொன்னதாவது:
53 To these the land shall be divided, so that they may inherit according to the number of the names.
“பெயர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை அடிப்படையில் நாடு அவர்களுக்கு உரிமைச்சொத்தாகப் பகிர்ந்தளிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.
54 To the greater number you shall give the greater inheritance, and to the less number you shall give the less inheritance: to each one, as they have been numbered, shall their inheritance be given.
கணக்கிடப்பட்டவர்களில் பெரிய குழுவினருக்கு பெரிதான உரிமைச்சொத்தும், சிறிய குழுவிற்குச் சிறிதான உரிமைச்சொத்தும் கொடு. கணக்கிடப்பட்டவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையின்படியே ஒவ்வொரு குழுவும் உரிமைச்சொத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
55 The land shall be divided to the names by lot, they shall inherit according to the tribes of their families.
சீட்டுப்போடுவதன் மூலமே நாடு பங்கிடப்படவேண்டும் என்பதில் கவனமாயிரு. ஒவ்வொரு குழுவும் உரிமையாக்கிக்கொள்ளும் நிலம் அவர்களின் முற்பிதாக்களின் கோத்திரப் பெயர்களின் எண்ணிக்கைப்படியே இருக்கவேண்டும்.
56 You shall divide their inheritance by lot between the many and the few.
ஒவ்வொரு உரிமைச்சொத்து நிலமும் பெரிய குழுக்களுக்குள்ளும், சிறிய குழுக்களுக்குள்ளும் சீட்டுப்போட்டே பங்கிடப்படவேண்டும்” என்றார்.
57 And the sons of Levi according to their families; to Gedson, the family of the Gedsonites; to Caath, the family of the Caathites; to Merari, the family of the Merarites.
வம்சம் வம்சமாக எண்ணப்பட்ட லேவியர்கள் இவர்களே. கெர்சோனின் மூலமாக கெர்சோனிய வம்சமும், கோகாத்தின் மூலமாக கோகாத்திய வம்சமும், மெராரியின் மூலமாக மெராரிய வம்சமும் வந்தன.
58 These [are] the families of the sons of Levi; the family of the Lobenites, the family of the Chebronites, the family of the Coreites, and the family of the Musites; and Caath begot Amram.
லேவியின் மற்ற வம்சங்களாவன: லிப்னீய வம்சம், எப்ரோனிய வம்சம், மகலிய வம்சம், மூசிய வம்சம், கோராகிய வம்சம் என்பவைகளே. அம்ராமின் முற்பிதா கோகாத்;
59 And the name of his wife [was] Jochabed, daughter of Levi, who bore these to Levi in Egypt, and she bore to Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Mariam their sister.
அம்ராமின் மனைவியின் பெயர் யோகெபேத். அவள் லேவிய சந்ததியைச் சேர்ந்தவள். அவள் எகிப்திலே லேவிக்குப் பிறந்தவள். அவள், ஆரோன், மோசே ஆகியோரையும் அவர்களின் சகோதரியான மிரியாமையும் அம்ராமுக்குப் பெற்றாள்.
60 And to Aaron were born both Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் ஆகியோரின் தகப்பன் ஆரோன்.
61 And Nadab and Abiud died when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sina.
நாதாபும், அபியூவும் அங்கீகரிக்கப்படாத நெருப்பினால் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாகக் காணிக்கையைச் செலுத்தியபோது இறந்துபோனார்கள்.
62 And there were according to their numbering, twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because they have no inheritance in the midst of the children of Israel.
கணக்கிடப்பட்டபடி, ஒரு மாதமும் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதும் உடையவர்களான லேவிய ஆசாரியர்களின் மொத்தத்தொகை 23,000 பேர். இவர்களுக்கு மற்ற இஸ்ரயேலருக்குள் உரிமைச்சொத்து கிடைக்காதபடியால், லேவியர் அவர்களுடன் சேர்த்து எண்ணப்படவில்லை.
63 And this [is] the numbering of Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in Araboth of Moab, at Jordan by Jericho.
யோர்தானுக்கு அருகே எரிகோவுக்கு எதிராகவுள்ள மோவாப் சமவெளியில் மோசேயும், ஆசாரியன் எலெயாசாரும் இஸ்ரயேலரைக் கணக்கெடுத்தபோது கணக்கிடப்பட்டவர்கள் இவர்களே.
64 And among these there was not a man numbered by Moses and Aaron, whom, [even] the children of Israel, they numbered in the wilderness of Sinai.
ஆனால் முன்பு மோசேயினாலும், ஆசாரியன் ஆரோனாலும் சீனாய் வனாந்திரத்தில் கணக்கிடப்பட்ட இஸ்ரயேலர்களில் ஒருவனும் இவர்கள் மத்தியில் இருக்கவில்லை.
65 For the Lord said to them, They shall surely die in the wilderness; and there was not left even one of them, except Chaleb the son of Jephonne, and Joshua the [son] of Naue.
ஏனெனில், “அந்த இஸ்ரயேலர் பாலைவனத்தில் நிச்சயம் சாவார்கள்” என யெகோவா அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்தார். அவ்வாறே எப்புன்னேயின் மகன் காலேபையும், நூனின் மகன் யோசுவாவையும் தவிர வேறு ஒருவரும் உயிரோடிருக்கவில்லை.
