Leviticus 22
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:
2 Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and let them take heed concerning the holy things of the children of Israel, so they shall not profane my holy name in any of the things which they consecrate to me: I [am] the Lord.
Tala till Aron och hans söner och säg att de skola hålla sig ifrån de heliga gåvor som Israels barn bära fram åt mig, på det att de icke må ohelga mitt heliga namn. Jag är HERREN.
3 Say to them, Every man throughout your generations, whoever of all your seed shall approach to the holy things, whatever the children of Israel shall consecrate to the Lord, while his uncleanness is upon him, that soul shall be cut off from me: I [am] the Lord your God.
Säg till dem: Om i kommande släkten någon av edra avkomlingar, medan orenhet låder vid honom, kommer vid de heliga gåvor som Israels barn bära fram åt HERREN, så skall han utrotas ur min åsyn Jag är HERREN.
4 And the man of the seed of Aaron the priest, if he should have leprosy or issue of the reins, shall not eat of the holy things, until he be cleansed; and he that touches any uncleanness of a dead body, or the man whose seed of copulation shall have gone out from him,
Om någon av Arons avkomlingar är spetälsk eller har flytning, skall han icke äta av de heliga gåvorna, förrän han har blivit ren; ej heller den som kommer vid någon som har blivit oren genom en död, eller den som har haft sädesutgjutning;
5 or whoever shall touch any unclean reptile, which will defile him, or [who shall touch] a man, whereby he shall defile him according to all his uncleanness:
ej heller den som kommer vid något slags smådjur genom vilket man bliver oren, eller vid en människa genom vilken man bliver oren, på vad sätt denna än må hava blivit oren.
6 whatever soul shall touch them shall be unclean until evening; he shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his body in water,
Den som kommer vid något sådant, han skall vara oren ända till aftonen, och skall icke äta av de heliga gåvorna, förrän han har badat sin kropp i vatten.
7 and the sun go down, and then he shall be clean; and then shall he eat of all the holy things, for they are his bread.
Men när solen har gått ned, är han ren, och sedan må han äta av de heliga gåvorna, ty det är hans spis.
8 He shall not eat that which dies of itself, or is taken of beasts, so that he should be polluted by them: I [am] the Lord.
Ett självdött eller ihjälrivet djur skall han icke äta, så att han därigenom bliver oren. Jag är HERREN.
9 And they shall keep my ordinances, that they do not bear iniquity because of them, and die because of them, if they shall profane them: I [am] the Lord God that sanctifies them.
De skola iakttaga vad jag har bjudit dem iakttaga, på det att de icke för det heligas skull må komma att bära på synd och träffas av döden därför att de ohelga det. Jag är HERREN, som helgar dem.
10 And no stranger shall eat the holy things: one that sojourns with a priest, or a hireling, shall not eat the holy things.
Ingen främmande får äta av det heliga; en inhysesman hos prästen eller en hans legodräng skall icke äta av det heliga.
11 But if a priest should have a soul purchased for money, he shall eat of his bread; and they that are born in his house, they also shall eat of his bread.
Men när en präst har köpt en träl för sina penningar, må denne äta därav, så ock den träl som är född i hans hus; dessa må äta av hans spis.
12 And if the daughter of a priest should marry a stranger, she shall not eat of the offerings of the sanctuary.
När en prästs dotter har blivit en främmande mans hustru, skall hon icke äta av det heliga som gives till offergärd.
13 And if the daughter of priest should be a widow, or put away, and have no seed, she shall return to her father's house, as in her youth: she shall eat of her father's bread, but no stranger shall eat of it.
Men om en prästs dotter har blivit änka eller blivit förskjuten, och hon är utan livsfrukt, och hon så kommer åter till sin faders hus och är där såsom i sin ungdom, då må hon äta av sin faders spis; men ingen främmande får äta därav.
14 And the man who shall ignorantly eat holy things, shall add the fifth part to it, and give the holy thing to the priest.
Och om någon ouppsåtligen äter av det heliga, skall han lägga femtedelen därtill och giva prästen ersättning för det heliga.
15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to the Lord.
Prästerna skola icke ohelga de heliga gåvorna, det som Israels barn göra såsom gärd åt HERREN,
16 So should they bring upon themselves the iniquity of trespass in their eating their holy things: for I [am] the Lord that sanctifies them.
och därigenom draga över dem missgärning och skuld, när de äta av deras heliga gåvor; ty jag är HERREN, som helgar dem.
17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:
18 Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the congregation of Israel, and you shall say to them, Any man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that abide among them in Israel, who shall offer his gifts according to all their confession and according to all their choice, whatever they may bring to the Lord for whole burnt offerings—
Tala till Aron och hans söner och alla Israels barn och säg till dem: Om någon av Israels hus eller av främlingarna i Israel vill offra något offer, vare sig det är ett löftesoffer eller ett frivilligt offer som de vilja offra åt HERREN såsom brännoffer, så skolen I göra det på sådant sätt att I bliven välbehagliga;
19 your free will offerings [shall] be males without blemish of the herds, or of the sheep, or of the goats.
offret skall vara ett felfritt handjur, av fäkreaturen eller av fåren eller av getterna;
20 They shall not bring to the Lord anything that has a blemish in it, for it shall not be acceptable for you.
I skolen icke därtill taga ett djur som har något lyte, ty genom ett sådant bliven I icke välbehagliga.
21 And whatever man shall offer a peace-offering to the Lord, discharging a vow, or in the way of free will offering, or an offering in your feasts, of the herds or of the sheep, it shall be without blemish for acceptance: there shall be no blemish in it.
Och när någon vill offra ett tackoffer åt HERREN av fäkreaturen eller av småboskapen, vare sig det gäller att fullgöra ett löfte, eller det gäller ett frivilligt offer, då skall det vara felfritt far att bliva välbehagligt; intet lyte får finnas därpå.
22 One that is blind, or broken, or has its tongue cut out, or is troubled with warts, or has a malignant ulcer, or tetters, they shall not offer these to the Lord; neither shall you offer any of them for a burnt offering on the altar of the Lord.
Det som är blint eller brutet eller stympat eller sårigt, eller det som har skabb eller annat utslag sådant skolen I icke offra åt HERREN; eldsoffer av sådant skolen I icke lägga på altaret åt HERREN.
23 And a calf or a sheep with the ears cut off, or that has lost its tail, you shall kill them for yourself; but they shall not be accepted for your vow.
Ett djur av fäkreaturen eller av småboskapen, som har någon lem för stor eller för liten, må du väl offra såsom frivilligt offer, men såsom löftesoffer bliver det icke välbehagligt.
24 That which has broken testicles, or is crushed or gelt or mutilated, —you shall not offer them to the Lord, neither shall you sacrifice them upon your land.
Och I skolen icke offra åt HERREN något som har blivit snöpt genom klämning eller krossning eller avslitning eller utskärning; sådant skolen I icke göra i edert land.
25 Neither shall you offer the gifts of your God of all these things by the hand of a stranger, because there is corruption in them, a blemish in them: these shall not be accepted for you.
Icke heller av en utlännings hand skolen I mottaga och offra sådana djur till eder Guds spis, ty de äro skadade, de hava ett lyte; genom sådana bliven I icke välbehagliga.
26 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:
27 As for a calf, or a sheep, or a goat, whenever it is born, then shall it be seven days under its mother; and on the eighth day and after they shall be accepted for sacrifices, a burnt offering to the Lord.
När en kalv eller ett får eller en get har blivit född, skall djuret dia sin moder i sju dagar. Men allt ifrån den åttonde dagen är det välbehagligt såsom eldsoffersgåva åt HERREN.
28 And a bullock and a ewe, it and its young, you shall not kill in one day.
I skolen icke slakta något djur, vare sig av fäkreaturen eller av småboskapen, på samma dag som dess avföda.
29 And if you should offer a sacrifice, a vow of rejoicing to the Lord, you shall offer it so as to be accepted for you.
När I viljen offra ett lovoffer åt HERREN, skolen I offra det på sådant sätt att I bliven välbehagliga.
30 In that same day it shall be eaten; you shall not leave of the flesh till the morrow: I am the Lord.
Det skall ätas samma dag; I skolen icke lämna något därav kvar till följande morgon. Jag är HERREN.
31 And you shall keep my commandments and do them.
I skolen hålla mina bud och göra efter dem. Jag är HERREN.
32 And you shall not profane the name of the Holy One, and I will be sanctified in the midst of the children of Israel. I [am] the Lord that sanctifies you,
I skolen icke ohelga mitt heliga namn, ty jag vill bliva helgad bland Israels barn. Jag är HERREN, som helgar eder,
33 who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I [am] the Lord.
han som har fört eder ut ur Egyptens land, för att jag skall vara eder Gud. Jag är HERREN.
