Osee 8
1 [He shall come] into their midst as the land, as an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant, and have sinned against my law.
Metu trumpeton al via buŝo! Li flugas kiel aglo al la domo de la Eternulo, pro tio, ke ili agis kontraŭ Mia interligo kaj defalis de Mia instruo.
2 They shall soon cry out to me, [saying], O God, we know you.
Al Mi ili vokos: Ho mia Dio, ni, Izraelidoj, ekkonis Vin.
3 For Israel has turned away from good things; they have pursued an enemy.
Izrael forpuŝis la bonon; malamiko lin persekutos.
4 They have made kings for themselves, but not by me: they have ruled, but they did not make it known to me: [of] their silver and their gold they have made images to themselves, that they might be destroyed.
Ili starigis reĝojn, sed ne de Mi; ili starigis princojn, sed sen Mia scio; el sia arĝento kaj oro ili faris al si idolojn, por pereigi sin.
5 Cast off your calf, O Samaria; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will they be unable to purge themselves in Israel?
Forpuŝita estas via bovido, ho Samario; ekflamis kontraŭ ili Mia kolero; kiel longe ankoraŭ ili ne povos puriĝi?
6 Whereas the workman made it, and it is not God; therefore your calf, Samaria, was a deceiver:
Ĉar ĝi estas faritaĵo de Izrael; artisto ĝin faris, kaj ĝi ne estas dio; dispecetiĝos la bovido de Samario.
7 for they sowed blighted [seed], and their destruction shall await them, a sheaf of corn that avails not to make meal; and even if it should produce it, strangers shall devour it.
Ĉar ili semas venton, ili rikoltos ventegon; grenon li ne havos; la kreskantaĵo ne donos farunon; se ĝi eĉ donos, fremduloj ĝin formanĝos.
8 Israel is swallowed up: now is he become among the nations as a worthless vessel.
Izrael estas formanĝata; nun ili fariĝis inter la popoloj kiel senvalora vazo.
9 For they have gone up to the Assyrians: Ephraim has been strengthened against himself; they loved gifts.
Ĉar ili iris en Asirion, kiel sovaĝa azeno solece vaganta; la Efraimidoj donis amajn donacojn.
10 Therefore shall they be delivered to the nations: now I will receive them, and they shall cease a little to anoint a king and princes.
Kvankam ili donis donacojn al la nacioj, Mi nun kolektus ilin, por ke ili iom ripozu de la ŝarĝo de la reĝo de la princoj.
11 Because Ephraim has multiplied altars, [his] beloved altars are become sins to him.
Sed multe da altaroj konstruis Efraim, por peki; ili fariĝis por li altaroj pekigaj.
12 I will write down a multitude [of commands] for him; but his statutes are accounted strange things, [even] the beloved altars.
Mi skribis por li la multon de Miaj leĝoj; sed li rigardas ilin kiel fremdaĵon.
13 For if they should offer a sacrifice, and eat flesh, the lord will not accept them: now will he remember their iniquities, and will take vengeance on their sins: they have returned to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things among the Assyrians.
La oferojn, donacatajn al Mi, ili buĉas nur pro viando, por ĝin manĝi; la Eternulo ne deziras ilin; nun Li rememoros iliajn malbonagojn kaj punos iliajn pekojn; ili revenos en Egiptujon.
14 And Israel has forgotten him that made him, and they have built fanes, and Juda has multiplied walled cities: but I will send fire on his cities, and it shall devour their foundations.
Izrael forgesis sian Kreinton, kaj konstruas palacojn; Jehuda konstruis multe da fortikigitaj urboj; sed Mi sendos fajron sur liajn urbojn, kaj ĝi ekstermos liajn palacojn.
