Deuteronomy 16
1 Observe the month of new [corn], and you shall sacrifice the passover to the Lord your God; because in the month of new corn you came out of Egypt by night.
൧ആബീബ് മാസം ആചരിച്ച് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് പെസഹ കൊണ്ടാടണം; ആബീബ് മാസത്തിൽ അല്ലയോ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ രാത്രിയിൽ നിന്നെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചത്.
2 And you shall sacrifice the passover to the Lord your God, sheep and oxen in the place which the Lord your God shall choose to have his name called upon it.
൨യഹോവ തന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് പെസഹയാഗമായി ആടുകളെയും മാടുകളെയും അറുക്കണം.
3 You shall not eat leaven with it; seven days shall you eat unleavened [bread] with it, bread of affliction, because you came forth out of Egypt in haste; that you may remember the day of your coming forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
൩നീ ഈജിപ്റ്റ്ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട ദിവസം നിന്റെ ആയുഷ്ക്കാലം മുഴുവനും ഓർക്കുന്നതിന് മാംസത്തോടുകൂടി പുളിച്ച അപ്പം തിന്നരുത്; നീ കഷ്ടതയുടെ ആഹാരമായ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം ഏഴ് ദിവസം തിന്നണം; തിടുക്കത്തോടെ ആണല്ലോ നീ ഈജിപ്റ്റ്ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടത്.
4 Leaven shall not be seen with you in all your borders for seven days, and there shall not be left of the flesh which you shall sacrifice at even on the first day until the morning.
൪ഏഴ് ദിവസം നിന്റെ ദേശത്ത് ഒരിടത്തും പുളിച്ച അപ്പം കാണരുത്; ആദ്യ ദിവസം വൈകുന്നേരം അറുത്ത മാംസം ഒട്ടും പ്രഭാതത്തിലേക്ക് ശേഷിപ്പിക്കരുത്.
5 you shall not have power to sacrifice the passover in any of the cities, which the Lord your God gives you.
൫നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്ക് തരുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒന്നിൽ വച്ച് പെസഹ അറുത്തുകൂടാ.
6 But in the place which the Lord your God shall choose, to have his name called there, you shall sacrifice the passover at even at the setting of the sun, at the time when you came out of Egypt.
൬നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തുവച്ചു മാത്രം, സന്ധ്യാസമയത്ത്, നീ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട നേരത്ത് തന്നെ, സൂര്യൻ അസ്തമിക്കുമ്പോൾ പെസഹ അറുക്കണം.
7 And you shall boil and roast and eat it in the place, which the Lord your God shall choose; and you shall return in the morning, and go to your house.
൭നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തുവച്ച് അത് ചുട്ടുതിന്നണം; രാവിലെ നിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാം.
8 Six days shall you eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day is a holiday, a feast to the Lord your God: you shall not do in it any work, save what must be done by any one.
൮ആറ് ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടണം; അന്ന് വേലയൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുത്.
9 Seven weeks shall you number to yourself; when you have begun [to put] the sickle to the corn, you shall begin to number seven weeks.
൯പിന്നെ, ഏഴ് ആഴ്ചകൾ എണ്ണുക; വയലിലെ വിളയിൽ അരിവാൾ വയ്ക്കുവാൻ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതു മുതൽ ഏഴ് ആഴ്ചകൾ എണ്ണണം.
10 And you shall keep the feast of weeks to the Lord your God, accordingly as your hand has power in as many things as the Lord your God shall give you.
൧൦അതിനുശേഷം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് വാരോത്സവം ആചരിച്ച്, യഹോവ നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചതിന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ സ്വമേധാദാനങ്ങൾ അവന് അർപ്പിക്കണം.
11 And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son, and your daughter, your man-servant and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow which dwells among you, in whatever place the Lord your God shall choose, that his name should be called there.
൧൧നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തുവച്ച് നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രനും പുത്രിയും ദാസനും ദാസിയും നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലുള്ള ലേവ്യനും നിന്റെ ഇടയിലുള്ള പരദേശിയും അനാഥനും വിധവയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കണം.
12 And you shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and you shall observe and do these commands.
൧൨നീ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ അടിമയായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ഓർത്ത് ഈ ചട്ടങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിച്ച് നടക്കണം.
13 You shall keep for yourself the feast of tabernacles seven days, when you gather in [your produce] from your corn-floor and your wine-press.
൧൩കളത്തിലെ ധാന്യവും ചക്കിലെ വീഞ്ഞും ശേഖരിച്ചുകഴിയുമ്പോൾ നീ ഏഴ് ദിവസം കൂടാരപ്പെരുന്നാൾ ആചരിക്കണം.
14 And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, your man-servant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow that is in your cities.
൧൪ഈ പെരുന്നാളിൽ നീയും നിന്റെ മകനും മകളും ദാസനും ദാസിയും നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലുള്ള ലേവ്യനും പരദേശിയും അനാഥനും വിധവയും സന്തോഷിക്കണം.
15 Seven days shall you keep a feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord your God shall choose for himself; and if the Lord your God shall bless you in all your fruits, and in every work of your hands, then you shall rejoice.
൧൫യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തുവച്ച് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഏഴു ദിവസം പെരുന്നാൾ ആചരിക്കണം; നിന്റെ എല്ലാ വിളവുകളിലും, നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയിലും, നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ട് നീ വളരെ സന്തോഷിക്കണം.
16 Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the Lord your God in the place which the Lord shall choose in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: you shall not appear before the Lord your God empty.
൧൬നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്റെ പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കെയും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാളിലും, വാരോത്സവത്തിലും, കൂടാരപ്പെരുനാളിലും, ഇങ്ങനെ സംവത്സരത്തിൽ മൂന്നുപ്രാവശ്യം അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വരണം; എന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വെറും കയ്യോടെ വരരുത്.
17 Each one according to his ability, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which he has given you.
൧൭നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്ക് തന്നിട്ടുള്ള അനുഗ്രഹത്തിന് തക്കവണ്ണം ഓരോരുത്തൻ അവനവന്റെ പ്രാപ്തിപോലെ കൊണ്ടുവരണം.
18 You shall make for yourself judges and officers in your cities, which the Lord your God gives you in [your] tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment:
൧൮നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്ക് തരുന്ന എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ഗോത്രംതോറും ന്യായാധിപതിമാരെയും പ്രമാണികളെയും നിയമിക്കണം; അവർ ജനത്തിന് നീതിയോടെ ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യണം.
19 they shall not wrest judgment, nor favor persons, nor receive a gift; for gifts blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
൧൯ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയരുത്; മുഖപക്ഷം കാണിക്കരുത്; സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങരുത്; സമ്മാനം ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ കണ്ണ് കുരുടാക്കുകയും നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ കാര്യം മറിച്ചുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
20 You shall justly pursue justice, that you may live, and go in and inherit the land which the Lord your God gives you.
൨൦നീ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്ക് തരുന്ന ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുന്നതിന് നീതിയെ തന്നേ പിന്തുടരണം.
21 You shall not plant for yourself a grove; you shall not plant for yourself any tree near the altar of your God.
൨൧നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് നീ പണിയുന്ന യാഗപീഠത്തിനരികിൽ യാതൊരു അശേരപ്രതിഷ്ഠയും പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കരുത്.
22 You shall not set up for yourself a pillar, which the Lord your God hates.
൨൨നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വെറുക്കുന്ന ഒരു ശിലാസ്തംഭം നാട്ടുകയും അരുത്.
