< Psalms 41 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed [is] he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Dawid dwom. Nhyira ne onipa a mmɔborɔni asɛm ho hia no; Awurade gye no wɔ amanehunu bere mu.
2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; [and] he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
Awurade bɛbɔ ne ho ban na wakora ne kra; obehyira no wɔ asase no so; ɔrennyaa no mma nʼatamfo apɛde.
3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
Awurade bɛhwɛ no wɔ ne yare mpa so na wagye no asi hɔ.
4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
Mekae se, “Ao Awurade hu me mmɔbɔ; sa me yare, efisɛ mayɛ bɔne atia wo.”
5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
Mʼatamfo de adwene bɔne ka fa me ho se: “Da bɛn na obewu ama ne din ayera?”
6 And if he come to see [me], he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; [when] he goeth abroad, he telleth [it].
Bere biara a obi ba me nkyɛn no, ɔka atosɛm, na ne koma hɔre dinsɛe; ofi adi kɔ a, ɔde kodi nseku.
7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
Mʼatamfo nyinaa keka asomsɛm fa me ho; wosusuw bɔne ma me na wɔka se:
8 An evil disease, [say they], cleaveth fast unto him: and [now] that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
“Ɔyare bɔne bi abɔ no; ɔrensɔre mfi nea ɔda hɔ bio.”
9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up [his] heel against me.
Mpo me yɔnko pa ara a mede me ho too no so, nea me ne no too nsa didii no, asɔre atia me.
10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
Nanso wo, Awurade, hu me mmɔbɔ; ma me so, na mintua wɔn so ka.
11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Minim sɛ wʼani sɔ me, na me tamfo renni me so nkonim.
12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
Me nokwaredi mu, wukura me mu na wode me gyina wʼanim afebɔɔ.
13 Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
Nhyira nka Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn, nnɛ ne daa nyinaa.
