< Psalms 36 >

1 To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David the servant of the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, [that there is] no fear of God before his eyes.
Kathutkung: Devit Tamikathoutnaw ni kâtapoenae dawk ka lungthung hoi ka tâcawt e teh, ahnimae mit dawk Cathut takinae banghai awm hoeh.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
A payonnae hmawt hoeh, panuek hoeh telah, a mithmu vah amahoima tamikalan lah a kâsak awh.
3 The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, [and] to do good.
A dei e lawk teh, thoenae hoi dumnae dueng doeh. Kahawi hno sak hane hoi lungang hane hah a pahnawt awh.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way [that is] not good; he abhorreth not evil.
A ikhun van hawihoehnae hah a pouk teh, kahawihoehe lamthung thama lahoi a dawn teh, yonnae hah panuet hoeh.
5 Thy mercy, O LORD, [is] in the heavens; [and] thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds.
Oe BAWIPA na pahrennae teh kalvan ao teh, yuem na kamcunae ni tâmai koe a pha.
6 Thy righteousness [is] like the great mountains; thy judgments [are] a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
Na lannae teh kalen e mon patetlah ao teh, na lawkcengnae teh ka dungpoung e tui patetlah ao. Oe BAWIPA, tami hoi saringnaw hah ouk na khetyawt.
7 How excellent [is] thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Oe Cathut, na lungpatawnae teh banghloimaw a sungren. Hatdawkvah, tami capanaw ni na tâhlip hah a kâuep awh.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
Na imthung vah, kapap e hnokahawi hoi na boum sak teh, na konawmnae palangtui na nei sak.
9 For with thee [is] the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Nang koe vah hringnae tuikhu teh ao. Na angnae dawkvah, angnae hah ka hmu awh.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Oe, nang kapanueknaw koe, na lungpatawnae pou awm na seh, lungthin kalannaw koe na lannae kamnuek naseh,
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
Kâoupnae khok teh kai taranlahoi tho nahanh seh.
12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
Haw tueng vah, tamitongthoenaw koung a rawp awh toe. Tâkhawng lah ao awh teh, thaw awh mahoeh toe.
