< Psalms 107 >
1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
Monna Awurade ase na oye; na nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.
2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say [so], whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
Momma wɔn a Awurade agye wɔn nka saa, wɔn a wagye wɔn afi ɔtamfo nsam no;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
wɔn a ɔboaboaa wɔn ano fii nsase so no, efi apuei kosi atɔe, atifi kosi anafo.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
Ebinom kyinkyinii wɔ nsase pradada so, a wɔanhu ɔkwan ankɔ kuropɔn no mu, faako a wobetumi anya atenae.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
Ɔkɔm ne osukɔm dee wɔn na wɔtotɔɔ beraw.
6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses.
Afei wosu frɛɛ Awurade wɔ wɔn amanehunu mu, na ogyee wɔn fii wɔn ahohiahia mu.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
Ɔde wɔn faa ɔkwan tee so baa kuropɔn a wotumi tena mu no mu.
8 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔe a ɛnsa da ne nʼanwonwade a ɔyɛ ma nnipa no ho,
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
ɔma wɔn a osukɔm de wɔn nsu na ɔde nnepa hyɛ wɔn a ɔkɔm de wɔn ma.
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron;
Ebinom tenaa sum ne awerɛhow mu, nneduafo a wɔde dade nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn agu wɔn,
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
efisɛ wɔatew Onyankopɔn nsɛm ho atua na wɔabu Ɔsorosoroni no agyinatu animtiaa.
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and [there was] none to help.
Enti ogyaa wɔn maa adwumaden; wohintihintiwii, na wɔannya ɔboafo.
13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses.
Afei wosu frɛɛ Awurade wɔ wɔn amanehunu mu, na ogyee wɔn fii wɔn ahohia mu.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
Oyii wɔn fii sum ne awerɛhow mu, na obubuu wɔn nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn mu.
15 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔe a ɛnsa da ne nʼanwonwade a ɔyɛ ma nnipa no ho,
16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
efisɛ obubu kɔbere mfrafra apon na otwitwa nnadeban mu.
17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
Ebinom bɛyɛɛ nkwaseafo, wɔn atuatew nti, na wohuu amane, wɔn nnebɔne nti.
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
Wokyii aduan nyinaa na wotwiw bɛnee owu pon ano.
19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he saveth them out of their distresses.
Afei wosu frɛɛ Awurade, wɔn amanehunu mu na ogyee wɔn fii wɔn ahohia mu.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions.
Ɔsomaa nʼasɛm na ɔsaa wɔn yare; na ogyee wɔn fii ɔda mu.
21 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔe a ɛnsa da ne nʼanwonwade a ɔyɛ ma nnipa no ho.
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
Momma wɔmmɔ aseda afɔre na wɔmfa ahurusi nnwom nka ne nnwuma ho asɛm.
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
Ebinom tenaa ahyɛn mu wɔ po so; wɔyɛ aguadifo wɔ nsu akɛse so.
24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
Wohuu Awurade nnwuma, nʼanwonwade a ɛwɔ bun mu.
25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
Ɔkasa maa ahum tui na ekukuru asorɔkye.
26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
Wokukuru kɔɔ ɔsorosoro na wosian kɔɔ bun mu tɔnn; wɔn amanehunu mu no wɔn koma tui.
27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
Wokyim totɔɔ ntintan sɛ asabowfo; na wonhu nea wɔnnyɛ bio.
28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
Afei wosu frɛɛ Awurade, wɔn amanehunu mu, na ogyee wɔn fii wɔn ahohia mu.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Ɔmaa ahum no yɛɛ dinn; po so asorɔkye ano brɛɛ ase.
30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
Wɔn ani gyei, bere a ɛyɛɛ dinn no, na ɔkyerɛɛ wɔn ɔkwan de wɔn koduu gyinabea a wɔpɛ.
31 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔe a ɛnsa da ne nʼanwonwade a ɔyɛ ma nnipa no ho.
32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
Wɔmma no so wɔ asafo no mu na wɔnkamfo no wɔ mpanyimfo nhyiamu ase.
33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
Ɔdan nsubɔnten maa no yɛɛ sare, asuten yɛɛ asase wosee,
34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
na asasebere dan nkyenenkyene, wɔn a wɔte asase no so amumɔyɛ nti.
35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
Ɔdan sare so maa no yɛɛ nsuwansuwa na nkyɛkyerɛ yɛɛ sɛ nsuten anan mu;
36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
Ɛhɔ na ɔde wɔn a ɔkɔm de wɔn kɔsoɛe, na wɔkyekyeree kuropɔn tenaa mu.
37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
Wɔyɛɛ mfuw ne bobe nturo na ɛmaa wɔn nnɔbae bebree.
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
Ohyiraa wɔn na wɔn ase dɔe. Wamma wɔn nyɛmmoa dodow so anhuan.
39 Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
Afei wɔn dodow so huanee na nhyɛso, amanehunu ne awerɛhow brɛɛ wɔn ase;
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, [where there is] no way.
nea obu abirɛmpɔn animtiaa no ma wokyinkyin asase kesee a ɔkwan nni hɔ so.
41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh [him] families like a flock.
Nanso ɔmaa ahiafo so fii wɔn ahohia mu na ɔmaa wɔn mmusua dɔɔ sɛ nguankuw.
42 The righteous shall see [it], and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
Atreneefo hu ma wɔn ani gye, nanso amumɔyɛfo nyinaa mua wɔn ano.
43 Whoso [is] wise, and will observe these [things], even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
Momma nea ɔyɛ onyansafo no mmu eyinom, na onsusuw Awurade adɔe kɛse no ho.
