John 2
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
Երրորդ օրը հարսանիք մը կար Գալիլեայի Կանա քաղաքը, եւ Յիսուսի մայրը հոն էր:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
Յիսուս ալ հրաւիրուեցաւ այդ հարսանիքին, նաեւ՝ իր աշակերտները:
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus says unto him, They have no wine.
Երբ գինին պակսեցաւ, Յիսուսի մայրը ըսաւ անոր. «Գինի չունին»:
4 Jesus says unto her, Woman, what have I to do with you? mine hour is not yet come.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Կի՛ն, դուն ի՞նչ ունիս ինծի հետ. իմ ժամս դեռ հասած չէ»:
5 His mother says unto the servants, Whatsoever he says unto you, do it.
Իր մայրը ըսաւ սպասարկուներուն. «Ի՛նչ որ ըսէ ձեզի՝ ըրէ՛ք»:
6 And there were set there six water pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Հոն վեց քարէ կարաս դրուած էր՝ Հրեաներուն մաքրուելու սովորութեան համաձայն. իւրաքանչիւրը կը պարունակէր երկու կամ երեք մար:
7 Jesus says unto them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոնց. «Լեցուցէ՛ք այդ կարասները ջուրով». ու լեցուցին զանոնք՝ մինչեւ բերանը:
8 And he says unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
Եւ ըսաւ անոնց. «Հիմա հանեցէ՛ք ու տարէ՛ք սեղանապետին». անոնք ալ տարին:
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew; ) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
Երբ սեղանապետը համտեսեց գինի դարձած ջուրը՝ չէր գիտեր ուրկէ՛ ըլլալը (բայց սպասարկուները՝ որոնք հաներ էին ջուրը՝ գիտէին): Սեղանապետը կանչեց փեսան
10 And says unto him, Every man at the beginning does set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but you have kept the good wine until now.
եւ ըսաւ անոր. «Ամէն մարդ նախ կը մատուցանէ լաւ գինին, ու երբ արբեցած ըլլան՝ ա՛յն ատեն ցածորակը. բայց դուն լաւ գինին պահեցիր մինչեւ հիմա»:
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
Յիսուս իր նշաններուն սկիզբը ըրաւ ասիկա՝ Գալիլեայի Կանա քաղաքին մէջ, եւ ցոյց տուաւ իր փառքը. ու իր աշակերտները հաւատացին իրեն:
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
Յետոյ Յիսուս Կափառնայում իջաւ, ինք, իր մայրն ու իր եղբայրները, եւ իր աշակերտները. բայց շատ օրեր չմնացին հոն:
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Հրեաներուն Զատիկը մօտ էր, ուստի Յիսուս բարձրացաւ Երուսաղէմ:
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Տաճարին մէջ գտաւ արջառ, ոչխար եւ աղաւնի ծախողներ, նաեւ լումայափոխներ՝ որոնք նստած էին:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
Եւ չուանէ խարազան մը շինելով՝ տաճարէն դուրս հանեց բոլորը, ոչխարներն ու արջառներն ալ. թափեց լումայափոխներուն լումաները, տապալեց սեղանները,
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things behind; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
եւ ըսաւ աղաւնի ծախողներուն. «Վերցուցէ՛ք ատոնք ասկէ. առեւտուրի տուն մի՛ ընէք իմ Հօրս տունը»:
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of your house has eaten me up.
Եւ իր աշակերտները յիշեցին՝ որ գրուած է. «Քու տանդ նախանձախնդրութիւնը կլանեց զիս»:
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign show you unto us, seeing that you do these things?
Հետեւաբար Հրեաները ըսին անոր. «Ի՞նչ նշան ցոյց կու տաս մեզի՝ քանի կ՚ընես այդ բաները»:
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոնց. «Քակեցէ՛ք այս տաճարը, ու երեք օրուան մէջ պիտի կանգնեցնեմ զայն»:
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days?
Իսկ Հրեաները ըսին. «Քառասունվեց տարուան մէջ շինուեցաւ այս տաճարը, եւ դուն երե՞ք օրուան մէջ պիտի կանգնեցնես զայն»:
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
Բայց ինք կը խօսէր իր մարմինի՛ն տաճարին մասին:
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word (logos) which Jesus had said.
Ուստի երբ ինք մեռելներէն յարութիւն առաւ, իր աշակերտները յիշեցին թէ ըսած էր ասիկա, ու հաւատացին Գիրքին եւ Յիսուսի ըսած խօսքին:
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
Երբ Զատիկի տօնին ատենը Երուսաղէմ էր, շատ մարդիկ հաւատացին անոր անունին՝ տեսնելով անոր ըրած նշանները:
24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
Բայց ինք՝ Յիսուս՝ չէր հաւատար անոնց, որովհետեւ կը ճանչնար ամէն մարդ.
25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
պէտք չունէր՝ որ մէկը ուրիշ մարդու մասին վկայէր իրեն, քանի որ ինք գիտէր թէ ի՛նչ կայ մարդուն մէջ:
