Zechariah 12
1 The burden of the word of YHWH for Israel, saith YHWH, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
૧ઇઝરાયલ માટે યહોવાહનું વચન. આકાશોને વિસ્તારનાર, પૃથ્વીનો પાયો નાખનાર તથા મનુષ્યોના અંતર આત્માનાં સર્જનહાર યહોવાહ કહે છે:
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
૨“જુઓ, હું યરુશાલેમને તેની આસપાસના સર્વ લોકોને માટે લથડિયાં ખવડાવનાર પ્યાલારૂપ કરીશ, યરુશાલેમના ઘેરાની જેમ યહૂદિયાના એવા જ હાલ હવાલ થશે.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
૩તે દિવસે એવું થશે કે હું યરુશાલેમને સર્વ લોકોને માટે ભારે પથ્થરરૂપ થાય એવું કરીશ. જે કોઈ તેને ઉપાડશે તે પોતે ઘાયલ થશે. પૃથ્વી પરની સર્વ પ્રજાઓ તેની વિરુદ્ધ એકઠી થશે.
4 In that day, saith YHWH, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
૪સૈન્યોના યહોવાહ એવું કહે છે કે, તે દિવસે,” “હું દરેક ઘોડાને ત્રાસથી અને દરેક સવારને ગાંડપણથી મારીશ. કેમ કે હું યહૂદિયાના લોકો પર મારી આંખ ઉઘાડીશ અને સૈન્યના દરેક ઘોડાને અંધ કરી નાખીશ.
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in YHWH of hosts their Elohim.
૫ત્યારે યહૂદિયાના આગેવાનો પોતાના મનમાં કહેશે, ‘યરુશાલેમના રહેવાસીઓનું બળ તેમના ઈશ્વર, સૈન્યોનો યહોવાહના કારણે જ છે!’”
6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
૬તે દિવસે હું યહૂદિયાના આગેવાનોને લાકડામાં અગ્નિથી ભરેલા ઘડા જેવા અને પૂળીઓમાં બળતી મશાલરૂપ કરીશ, કેમ કે તેઓ ચારેબાજુના એટલે જમણી તથા ડાબી બાજુના દુશ્મનોનો નાશ કરશે. યરુશાલેમના લોકો હજી પોતાની જગ્યાએ ફરીથી વસશે.
7 YHWH also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
૭યહોવાહ પહેલાં યહૂદિયાના તંબુઓને બચાવશે, જેથી દાઉદના ઘરનો આદર તથા યરુશાલેમમાં રહેનારાઓનો આદર યહૂદિયા કરતાં વધી ન જાય.
8 In that day shall YHWH defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as Elohim, as the angel of YHWH before them.
૮તે દિવસે યહોવાહ યરુશાલેમના રહેવાસીઓનું રક્ષણ કરશે, તે દિવસે જે લડખડાતો હશે તે પણ દાઉદ જેવો થશે. અને દાઉદનાં કુટુંબો ઈશ્વરના જેવાં, યહોવાહના દૂતના જેવાં તેમની આગળ થશે.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
૯તે દિવસે જે બધી પ્રજાઓ યરુશાલેમ વિરુદ્ધ ચઢી આવશે તેઓનો નાશ કરવાનો નિર્ણય હું કરીશ.”
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of favour and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and she will be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
૧૦“પણ હું દાઉદના ઘર પર તથા યરુશાલેમના રહેવાસીઓ પર કરુણા અને વિનંતીનો આત્મા રેડીશ, તેઓ મને, એટલે જેને તેઓએ વીંધ્યો છે તેને જોશે. જેમ કોઈ પોતાના એકના એક દીકરા માટે શોક કરે તેમ તેઓ પોતાના સંતાન માટે શોક કરે છે, જેમ તેઓ પોતાના પ્રથમજનિત દીકરાના મૃત્યુ માટે શોક કરતો હોય એવી રીતે તેઓ શોક કરશે.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
૧૧તે દિવસે મગિદ્દોના મેદાનમાં હદાદ રિમ્મોનના વિલાપના જેવો ભારે વિલાપ યરુશાલેમમાં થશે.
12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
૧૨દેશનાં દરેક કુટુંબ બીજા કુટુંબોથી જુદાં પડીને શોક કરશે. દાઉદનું કુટુંબ અલગ થશે, અને તેઓની પત્નીઓ પુરુષોથી અલગ થશે; નાથાનનું કુટુંબ અલગ થશે, અને તેઓની પત્નીઓ પુરુષોથી અલગ થશે.
13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
૧૩લેવીનું કુટુંબ અલગ થશે અને તેઓની પત્નીઓ પુરુષોથી અલગ થશે. શિમઇનું કુટુંબ અલગ થશે; અને તેઓની પત્નીઓ પુરુષોથી અલગ થશે.
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
૧૪બાકીના બધા કુટુંબોમાંનું દરેક કુટુંબ અલગ થશે અને તેઓની પત્નીઓ પુરુષોથી અલગ થશે.”
