Psalms 135
1 Praise ye YHWH. Praise ye the name of YHWH; praise him, O ye servants of YHWH.
Tamandani Yehova. Tamandani dzina la Yehova; mutamandeni, inu atumiki a Yehova,
2 Ye that stand in the house of YHWH, in the courts of the house of our Elohim,
amene mumatumikira mʼnyumba ya Yehova, mʼmabwalo a nyumba ya Mulungu wathu.
3 Praise YHWH; for YHWH is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
Tamandani Yehova, pakuti Yehova ndi wabwino; imbani nyimbo zotamanda dzina lake, pakuti nʼkokoma kutero,
4 For YAH hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
Pakuti Yehova wasankha Yakobo kuti akhale wake, Israeli kuti akhale chuma chake chapamtima.
5 For I know that YHWH is great, and that our YHWH is above all elohim.
Ndikudziwa kuti Yehova ndi wamkulu, kuti Ambuye athu ndi wamkulu kuposa milungu yonse.
6 Whatsoever YHWH pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
Yehova amachita chilichonse chimene chimamukomera, kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi, ku nyanja zazikulu ndi ku malo ake onse akuya.
7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
Iye amatulutsa mitambo kuchokera ku malekezero a dziko lapansi, amatumiza zingʼaningʼani pamodzi ndi mvula ndipo amatulutsa mphepo ku malo ake osungiramo.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
Anakantha ana oyamba kubadwa a Igupto, ana oyamba kubadwa a anthu ndi nyama.
9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
Iye anatumiza zizindikiro zozizwitsa ndi zodabwitsa pakati pako, iwe Igupto, kutsutsana ndi Farao pamodzi ndi atumiki ake onse.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
Iye anakantha mitundu yambiri ya anthu ndi kupha mafumu amphamvu:
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
Sihoni mfumu ya Aamori, Ogi mfumu ya Basani, ndi maufumu onse a ku Kanaani;
12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
ndipo anapereka dziko lawo ngati cholowa, cholowa cha anthu ake Aisraeli.
13 Thy name, O YHWH, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O YHWH, throughout all generations.
Dzina lanu, Inu Yehova, ndi losatha mpaka muyaya, mbiri yanu, Inu Yehova, idziwika mibado yonse.
14 For YHWH will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
Pakuti Yehova adzaonetsa kuti anthu ake ngosalakwa, ndipo adzachitira chifundo atumiki ake.
15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
Mafano a mitundu ya anthu ndi siliva ndi golide, opangidwa ndi manja a anthu.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
Pakamwa ali napo koma sayankhula maso ali nawo, koma sapenya;
17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
makutu ali nawo, koma sakumva ndipo mʼkamwa mwawo mulibe mpweya uliwonse.
18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
Iwo amene amapanga mafanowo adzakhala ngati mafanowo, chimodzimodzinso iwo amene amadalira mafanowo.
19 Bless YHWH, O house of Israel: bless YHWH, O house of Aaron:
Inu nyumba ya Israeli, tamandani Yehova; inu nyumba ya Aaroni, tamandani Yehova;
20 Bless YHWH, O house of Levi: ye that fear YHWH, bless YHWH.
Inu nyumba ya Levi, tamandani Yehova; Inu amene mumaopa Iye, tamandani Yehova.
21 Blessed be YHWH out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye YHWH.
Wodalitsika ndi Yehova kuchokera mʼZiyoni, amene amakhala mu Yerusalemu. Tamandani Yehova.
