2 Chronicles 30
1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of YHWH at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto YHWH Elohim of Israel.
Und Hiskia sandte hin zum ganzen Israel und Juda und schrieb Briefe an Ephraim und Manasse, daß sie kämen zum Hause des HERRN gen Jerusalem, Passah zu halten dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels.
2 For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.
Und der König hielt einen Rat mit seinen Obersten und der ganzen Gemeine zu Jerusalem, das Passah zu halten im andern Monden.
3 For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
Denn sie konnten's nicht halten zur selbigen Zeit, darum daß der Priester nicht genug geheiliget waren, und das Volk noch nicht zuhauf kommen war gen Jerusalem.
4 And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.
Und es gefiel dem Könige wohl und der ganzen Gemeine,
5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto YHWH Elohim of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
und bestelleten, daß solches ausgerufen würde durch ganz Israel, von Berseba an bis gen Dan, daß sie kämen, Passah zu halten dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, zu Jerusalem; denn es war lange nicht gehalten, wie es geschrieben stehet.
6 So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto YHWH Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
Und die Läufer gingen hin mit den Briefen von der Hand des Königs und seiner Obersten durch ganz Israel und Juda aus dem Befehl des Königs und sprachen: Ihr Kinder Israel, bekehret euch zu dem HERRN, dem Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels, so wird er sich kehren zu den übrigen, die noch übrig unter euch sind aus der Hand der Könige zu Assur.
7 And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against YHWH Elohim of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
Und seid nicht wie eure Väter und Brüder, die sich am HERRN, ihrer Väter Gott, vergriffen, und er sie gab in eine Verwüstung, wie ihr selber sehet.
8 Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto YHWH, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve YHWH your Elohim, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
So seid nun nicht halsstarrig, wie eure Väter, sondern gebet eure Hand dem HERRN und kommt zu seinem Heiligtum, das er geheiliget hat ewiglich, und dienet dem HERRN, eurem Gott, so wird sich der Grimm seines Zorns von euch wenden.
9 For if ye turn again unto YHWH, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for YHWH your Elohim is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
Denn so ihr euch bekehret zu dem HERRN, so werden eure Brüder und Kinder Barmherzigkeit haben vor denen, die sie gefangen halten, daß sie wieder in dies Land kommen. Denn der HERR, euer Gott, ist gnädig und barmherzig und wird sein Angesicht nicht von euch wenden, so ihr euch zu ihm bekehret.
10 So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
Und die Läufer gingen von einer Stadt zur andern im Lande Ephraim und Manasse und bis gen Sebulon; aber sie verlachten sie und spotteten ihrer.
11 Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
Doch etliche von Asser und Manasse und Sebulon demütigten sich und kamen gen Jerusalem.
12 Also in Judah the hand of Elohim was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of YHWH.
Auch kam Gottes Hand in Juda, daß er ihnen gab einerlei Herz, zu tun nach des Königs und der Obersten Gebot aus dem Wort des HERRN.
13 And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
Und es kam zuhauf gen Jerusalem ein groß Volk, zu halten das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote im andern Monden, eine sehr große Gemeine.
14 And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
Und sie machten sich auf und taten ab die Altäre, die zu Jerusalem waren, und alle Räuchwerke taten sie weg und warfen sie in den Bach Kidron.
15 Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of YHWH.
Und schlachteten das Passah am vierzehnten Tage des andern Monden. Und die Priester und Leviten bekannten ihre Schande und heiligten sich und brachten die Brandopfer zum Hause des HERRN.
16 And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of Elohim: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.
Und stunden in ihrer Ordnung, wie sich's gebührt, nach dem Gesetz Moses, des Mannes Gottes. Und die Priester sprengeten das Blut von der Hand der Leviten.
17 For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto YHWH.
Denn ihrer waren viel in der Gemeine, die sich nicht geheiliget hatten; darum schlachteten die Leviten das Passah für alle, die nicht rein waren, daß sie dem HERRN geheiliget würden.
18 For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, YHWH is tov and he will pardon everyone
Auch war des Volks viel von Ephraim, Manasse, Isaschar und Sebulon, die nicht rein waren, sondern aßen das Osterlamm nicht, wie geschrieben stehet. Denn Hiskia bat für sie und sprach: Der HERR, der gütig ist, wird gnädig sein
19 That prepareth his heart to seek Elohim, YHWH Elohim of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.
allen, die ihr Herz schicken, Gott zu suchen, den HERRN, den Gott ihrer Väter, und nicht um der heiligen Reinigkeit willen.
20 And YHWH hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
Und der HERR erhörete Hiskia und heilete das Volk.
21 And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised YHWH day by day, singing with loud instruments unto YHWH.
Also hielten die Kinder Israel, die zu Jerusalem funden wurden, das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sieben Tage mit großer Freude. Und die Leviten und Priester lobeten den HERRN alle Tage mit starken Saitenspielen des HERRN.
22 And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of YHWH: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to YHWH Elohim of their fathers.
Und Hiskia redete herzlich mit allen Leviten, die einen guten Verstand hatten am HERRN. Und sie aßen das Fest über, sieben Tage; und opferten Dankopfer und danketen dem HERRN, ihrer Väter Gott.
23 And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.
Und die ganze Gemeine ward Rats, noch andere sieben Tage zu halten; und hielten auch die sieben Tage mit Freuden.
24 For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
Denn Hiskia, der König Judas, gab eine Hebe für die Gemeine, tausend Farren und siebentausend Schafe. Die Obersten aber gaben eine Hebe für die Gemeine, tausend Farren und zehntausend Schafe. Also heiligten sich der Priester viele.
25 And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
Und es freuten sich die ganze Gemeine Juda, die Priester und Leviten und die ganze Gemeine, die aus Israel kommen waren, und die Fremdlinge, die aus dem Lande Israel kommen waren und die in Juda wohneten.
26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
Und war eine große Freude zu Jerusalem. Denn seit der Zeit Salomos, des Sohns Davids, des Königs Israels, war solches zu Jerusalem nicht gewesen.
27 Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
Und die Priester und die Leviten stunden auf und segneten das Volk, und ihre Stimme ward erhöret, und ihr Gebet kam hinein vor seine heilige Wohnung im Himmel.
