Psalms 105
1 O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
| قَدِّمُوا الشُّكْرَ لِلرَّبِّ. ادْعُوا بِاسْمِهِ. عَرِّفُوا بِأَعْمَالِهِ بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ. | ١ |
2 Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
| غَنُّوا لَهُ، اشْدُوا لَهُ. حَدِّثُوا بِكُلِّ عَجَائِبِهِ. | ٢ |
3 Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
| تَبَاهَوْا بِاسْمِهِ الْقُدُّوسِ، لِتَفْرَحْ قُلُوبُ طَالِبِي الرَّبِّ. | ٣ |
4 Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
| اطْلُبُوا الرَّبَّ وَقُوَّتَهُ، الْتَمِسُوا وَجْهَهُ دَائِماً. | ٤ |
5 Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
| اذْكُرُوا عَجَائِبَهُ الَّتِي صَنَعَهَا، مُعْجِزَاتِهِ وَأَحْكَامَهُ الَّتِي نَطَقَ بِها. | ٥ |
6 O ye seed of Abraham His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
| يَا ذُرِّيَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَبْدِهِ، يَا بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ الَّذِينَ اخْتَارَهُمْ. | ٦ |
7 He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
| هُوَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا، أَحْكَامُهُ تَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ كُلَّهَا. | ٧ |
8 He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
| لَمْ يَنْسَ عَهْدَهُ قَطُّ وَلَا وَعْدَهُ الَّذِي قَطَعَهُ إِلَى أَلْفِ جِيلٍ، | ٨ |
9 The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
| الْعَهْدَ الَّذِي أَبْرَمَهُ مَعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَالْقَسَمَ الَّذِي أَقْسَمَ بِهِ لإِسْحَاقَ. | ٩ |
10 And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
| ثُمَّ ثَبَّتَهُ لِيَعْقُوبَ فَرِيضَةً، وَلإِسْرَائِيلَ مِيثَاقاً أَبَدِيًّا، | ١٠ |
11 Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
| قَائِلاً: «لَكَ أُعْطِي أَرْضَ كَنْعَانَ نَصِيبَ مِيرَاثٍ لَكُمْ». | ١١ |
12 When they were but a few men in number. Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
| إِذْ كَانُوا قِلَّةً بَعْدُ، نَفَراً ضَئِيلاً مُتَغَرِّبِينَ فِي الأَرْضِ. | ١٢ |
13 And when they went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,
| مُتَنَقِّلِينَ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ، وَمِنْ مَمْلَكَةٍ إِلَى أُخْرَى. | ١٣ |
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
| فَلَمْ يَدَعْ أَيَّ إِنْسَانٍ يَظْلِمُهُمْ، بَلْ وَبَّخَ مُلُوكاً مِنْ أَجْلِهِمْ. | ١٤ |
15 'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
| قَائِلاً: «لَا تَمَسُّوا مُسَحَائِي، وَلَا تُؤْذُوا أَنْبِيَائِي». | ١٥ |
16 And He called a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.
| ثُمَّ أَفْشَى مَجَاعَةً فِي الأَرْضِ، وَقَطَعَ الْخُبْزَ قِوَامَ طَعَامِهِمْ. | ١٦ |
17 He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant;
| لَكِنَّهُ أَرْسَلَ أَمَامَهُمْ يُوسُفَ، فَبِيعَ عَبْداً. | ١٧ |
18 His feet they hurt with fetters, his person was laid in iron;
| آذَوْا بِالْقُيُودِ قَدَمَيْهِ، وَبِالْحَدِيدِ طَوَّقُوا عُنُقَهُ. | ١٨ |
19 Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.
| إِلَى أَنْ تَحَقَّقَ تَفْسِيرُهُ لِلأَحْلامِ فِي أَوَانِهِ، وَبَرْهَنَتْ كَلِمَةُ الرَّبِّ صِدْقَهُ. | ١٩ |
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.
| فَأَرْسَلَ الْمَلِكُ وَأَطْلَقَهُ، حَاكِمُ الشَّعْبِ حَرَّرَهُ. | ٢٠ |
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions;
| أَقَامَهُ سَيِّداً عَلَى قَصْرِهِ، وَمُتَسَلِّطاً عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَمْلاكِهِ. | ٢١ |
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
| يَتَصَرَّفُ بِوُلاتِهِ حَسَبَ مَسَرَّتِهِ، وَيُلَقِّنُ شُيُوخَهُ الْحِكْمَةَ. | ٢٢ |
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
| ثُمَّ جَاءَ إِسْرَائِيلُ إِلَى أَرْضِ مِصْرَ. تَغَرَّبَ يَعْقُوبُ فِي بَلَدِ حَامٍ. | ٢٣ |
24 And He increased His people greatly, and made them too mighty for their adversaries.
| فَكَثَّرَ اللهُ شَعْبَهُ، وَجَعَلَهُ أَقْوَى مِنْ أَعْدَائِهِ، | ٢٤ |
25 He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.
| الَّذِينَ حَوَّلَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِيُبْغِضُوا شَعْبَهُ، وَيَكِيدُوا لِعَبِيدِهِ. | ٢٥ |
26 He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
| عِنْدَئِذٍ أَرْسَلَ مُوسَى عَبْدَهُ وَهَارُونَ مُخْتَارَهُ. | ٢٦ |
27 They wrought among them His manifold signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
| فَأَجْرَيَا بَيْنَهُمْ آيَاتِهِ، وَصَنَعَا عَجَائِبَ فِي مِصْرَ. | ٢٧ |
28 He sent darkness, and it was dark; and they rebelled not against His word.
| بَعَثَ ظَلاماً، تَغَشَّتْ بِهِ الأَرْضُ، وَلَكِنَّ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ عَانَدُوا كَلِمَتَهُ. | ٢٨ |
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
| حَوَّلَ مِيَاهَهُمْ إِلَى دَمٍ وَأَمَاتَ أَسْمَاكَهُمْ. | ٢٩ |
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.
| فَاضَتْ أَرْضُهُمْ ضَفَادِعَ حَتَّى بَلَغَتْ مَخَادِعَ مُلُوكِهِمْ. | ٣٠ |
31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.
| أَمَرَ فَأَقْبَلَ الذُّبَابُ وَالْبَعُوضُ فَانْتَشَرَ فِي كُلِّ أَرْضِهِمْ | ٣١ |
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
| أَمْطَرَ عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَداً وَأَلْهَبَ أَرْضَهُمْ بِالْبُرُوقِ. | ٣٢ |
33 He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
| ضَرَبَ كُرُومَهُمْ وَتِينَهُمْ، وَهَشَّمَ كُلَّ أَشْجَارِهِمْ | ٣٣ |
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number,
| أَمَرَ، فَتَوَافَدَ الْجَرَادُ الطَّيَّارُ وَالزَّحَّافُ بِأَعْدَادٍ لَا تُحْصَى، | ٣٤ |
35 And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground.
| فَالْتَهَمَ كُلَّ عُشْبِ أَرْضِهِمْ، وَأَكَلَ ثِمَارَ حُقُولِهِمْ. | ٣٥ |
36 He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.
| ثُمَّ قَتَلَ الرَّبُّ جَمِيعَ أَبْكَارِ أَرْضِهِمْ، أَوَائِلَ ثِمَارِ خُصُوبَتِهِمْ جَمِيعاً. | ٣٦ |
37 And He brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was none that stumbled among His tribes.
| وَأَخْرَجَ شَعْبَهُ مُحَمَّلِينَ بِفِضَّةٍ وَذَهَبٍ، وَلَمْ يَتَعَثَّرْ فِي الْمَسِيرِ مِنْ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَاحِدٌ. | ٣٧ |
38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
| فَرِحَ أَهْلُ مِصْرَ بِخُرُوجِهِمْ لأَنَّ رُعْبَهُمْ غَلَبَ عَلَيْهِمْ. | ٣٨ |
39 He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.
| نَشَرَ سَحَابَةً فَوْقَ شَعْبِهِ، غِطَاءً لَهُمْ، وَأَرْسَلَ نَاراً تُضِيءُ لَهُمْ لَيْلاً. | ٣٩ |
40 They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.
| طَلَبُوا طَعَاماً فَبَعَثَ لَهُمْ طُيُورَ السَّلْوَى وَمِنْ خُبْزِ السَّمَاءِ أَشْبَعَهُمْ. | ٤٠ |
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.
| فَلَقَ الصَّخْرَةَ وَفَجَّرَ مِنْهَا الْمِيَاهَ، فَجَرَتْ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ كَأَنَّهَا نَهْرٌ. | ٤١ |
42 For He remembered His holy word unto Abraham His servant;
| لأَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَتَهُ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِي وَعَدَ بِها إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَبْدَهُ. | ٤٢ |
43 And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.
| وَهَكَذَا أَخْرَجَ شَعْبَهُ مِنْ مِصْرَ بِابْتِهَاجٍ وَمُخْتَارِيهِ بِتَرَانِيمِ الظَّفَرِ. | ٤٣ |
44 And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they took the labour of the peoples in possession;
| وَوَهَبَهُمْ أَرَاضِيَ الأُمَمِ، فَامْتَلَكُوا غَلَّاتٍ تَعِبَتْ فِيهَا شُعُوبٌ أُخْرَى. | ٤٤ |
45 That they might keep His statutes, and observe His laws. Hallelujah.
| لِيُمَارِسُوا فَرَائِضَهُ وَيُطِيعُوا شَرَائِعَهُ. هَلِّلُويَا. | ٤٥ |
