Psalms 103
1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Psalm Dawida. Błogosław, moja duszo, PANA, i całe moje wnętrze – jego święte imię.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits;
Błogosław, moja duszo, PANA, i nie zapominaj o wszystkich jego dobrodziejstwach.
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquity; who healeth all Thy diseases;
On przebacza wszystkie twoje nieprawości, on uzdrawia wszystkie twoje choroby;
4 Who redeemeth Thy life from the pit; who encompasseth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
On wybawia twoje życie od zguby, on cię koronuje miłosierdziem i wielką litością.
5 Who satisfieth thine old age with good things; so that Thy youth is renewed like the eagle.
On nasyca dobrem twoje usta i odnawia twoją młodość jak u orła.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness, and acts of justice for all that are oppressed.
PAN wymierza sprawiedliwość i sąd wszystkim uciśnionym.
7 He made known His ways unto Moses, His doings unto the children of Israel.
Dał poznać swe drogi Mojżeszowi, a synom Izraela swoje dzieła.
8 The LORD is full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
Łaskawy i litościwy jest PAN, nieskory do gniewu i [pełen] wielkiego miłosierdzia.
9 He will not always contend; neither will He keep His anger for ever.
Nie będzie się spierał bez końca ani wiecznie [gniewu] chował.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor requited us according to our iniquities.
Nie postępuje z nami według naszych grzechów ani nie odpłaca nam według naszych nieprawości.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him.
Jak wysoko bowiem są niebiosa nad ziemią, [tak] wielkie [jest] jego miłosierdzie nad tymi, którzy się go boją.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.
Jak daleko jest wschód od zachodu, [tak] daleko oddalił od nas nasze występki.
13 Like as a father hath compassion upon his children, so hath the LORD compassion upon them that fear Him.
Jak ojciec ma litość nad dziećmi, tak PAN ma litość nad tymi, którzy się go boją.
14 For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.
On bowiem wie, z czego jesteśmy ulepieni; pamięta, że jesteśmy prochem.
15 As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
Dni człowieka są jak trawa, kwitnie jak kwiat polny.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof knoweth it no more.
Wiatr na niego powieje, a już go nie ma i nie pozna go już jego miejsce.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children;
Ale miłosierdzie PANA od wieków na wieki nad tymi, którzy się go boją, a jego sprawiedliwość nad synami synów;
18 To such as keep His covenant, and to those that remember His precepts to do them.
[Nad tymi], którzy strzegą jego przymierza i pamiętają, aby wypełnić jego przykazania.
19 The LORD hath established His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all.
PAN na niebiosach ustanowił [swój] tron, a jego królestwo panuje nad wszystkimi.
20 Bless the LORD, ye angels of His, ye mighty in strength, that fulfil His word, hearkening unto the voice of His word.
Błogosławcie PANA, jego aniołowie, potężni siłą, którzy wypełniacie jego rozkazy, będąc posłuszni głosowi jego słowa.
21 Bless the LORD, all ye His hosts; ye ministers of His, that do His pleasure.
Błogosławcie PANA, wszystkie jego zastępy, jego słudzy, którzy spełniacie jego wolę.
22 Bless the LORD, all ye His works, in all places of His dominion; bless the LORD, O my soul.
Błogosławcie PANA, wszystkie jego dzieła, we wszystkich miejscach jego panowania. Błogosław, moja duszo, PANA.
