< Job 27 >

1 And Job again took up his parable, and said:
Hiob toaa nʼasɛm so se,
2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; and the Almighty, who hath dealt bitterly with me;
“Sɛ Onyankopɔn te ase yi, nea wammu me atɛntrenee no, Otumfo a wama madi me kra mu awerɛhow,
3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
mmere dodow a nkwa wɔ me mu, na Onyankopɔn home wɔ me mu yi,
4 Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, neither shall my tongue utter deceit;
mʼano renka amumɔyɛsɛm, na me tɛkrɛma rentwa nkontompo.
5 Far be it from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.
Merennye nto mu da sɛ nea woka no yɛ nokware; merenka me mudi nhyɛ, kosi sɛ mewu.
6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
Mekura me trenee mu, merennyaa mu; sɛ mete ase yi, me tiboa remmu me fɔ.
7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.
“Ma mʼatamfo nyɛ sɛ amumɔyɛfo, na wɔn a wokyi me nyɛ sɛ atorofo.
8 For what is the hope of the godless, though he get him gain, when God taketh away his soul?
Anidaso bɛn na wɔn a wonni nyamesu no wɔ wɔ wɔn wu akyi, bere a Onyankopɔn agye wɔn nkwa afi wɔn nsam no?
9 Will God hear his cry, when trouble cometh upon him?
So Onyankopɔn tie wɔn sufrɛ bere a amanehunu aba wɔn so no ana?
10 Will he have his delight in the Almighty, and call upon God at all times?
So wɔn ani begye wɔ Otumfo no mu? Wobesu afrɛ Onyankopɔn bere biara ana?
11 I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
“Mɛma mo Onyankopɔn tumi ho nkyerɛkyerɛ; meremfa Otumfo no akwan nhintaw.
12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye become altogether vain?
Mo ankasa moahu eyinom nyinaa. Afei nsɛnhunu yi ase ne dɛn?
13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.
“Eyi ne nea Onyankopɔn ahyɛ ato hɔ ama omumɔyɛfo, agyapade a otirimɔdenfo nya fi Otumfo no nkyɛn:
14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring shall not have bread enough.
Sɛ ɔwɔ mma dodow dɛn ara, wɔn nkrabea ne afoa; na nʼasefo rennidi mmee da.
15 Those that remain of him shall be buried by pestilence, and his widows shall make no lamentation.
Ɔyaredɔm besie wɔn a wɔbɛka wɔ nʼakyi, na wɔn akunafo rensu wɔn.
16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
Ɛwɔ mu sɛ ɔhɔre dwetɛ te sɛ mfutuma na ɔboa ntama ano sɛ dɔte,
17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
nea ɔpɛ gu hɔ no, atreneefo na wobefura na pɛpɛyɛfo no nso akyekyɛ dwetɛ no.
18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth which the keeper maketh.
Ofi a osi no te sɛ ananse abubummaba, ɛte sɛ pata bi a ɔwɛmfo abɔ.
19 He lieth down rich, but there shall be not to gather; he openeth his eyes, and his wealth is not.
Ɔda hɔ te sɛ ɔdefo, nanso ɔrenna saa bio; ɔbɛtew nʼani no na ne nyinaa atu ayera.
20 Terrors overtake him like waters; a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
Ahunahuna ba ne so sɛ nsuyiri; ahum hwim no kɔ anadwo.
21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; and it sweepeth him out of his place.
Apuei mframa soa no kɔ, na onni hɔ bio; ɛtwe no fi ne tenabea.
22 Yea, it hurleth at him, and spareth not; he would fain flee from its power.
Ɛbɔ no a ahummɔbɔ nni mu bere a ɔreguan afi ne tumi ase.
23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
Ɔde fɛw bɔ ne nsam na ɔpam no fi ne tenabea.”
