1 Corinthians 14
1 FOLLOW earnestly after love, and zealously seek spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
| در‌پی محبت بکوشید و عطایای روحانی را به غیرت بطلبید، خصوص اینکه نبوت کنید. | ۱ |
2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue, speaketh not to men, but to God: for no man understandeth him; although in spirit he speaketh mysterious truths.
| زیرا کسی‌که به زبانی سخن می‌گوید، نه به مردم بلکه به خدا می‌گوید، زیراهیچ‌کس نمی فهمد لیکن در روح به اسرار تکلم می‌نماید. | ۲ |
3 But he that prophesieth, addresseth men for edification, and exhortation, and consolation.
| اما آنکه نبوت می‌کند، مردم را برای بنا و نصیحت و تسلی می‌گوید. | ۳ |
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue, edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth, edifieth the church.
| هرکه به زبانی می‌گوید، خود را بنا می‌کند، اما آنکه نبوت می‌نماید، کلیسا را بنا می‌کند. | ۴ |
5 Now I could wish that you all spake with tongues, but rather that ye should prophesy: for greater is he that prophesieth, than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret also, that the church may receive edification.
| و خواهش دارم که همه شما به زبانها تکلم کنید، لکن بیشتر اینکه نبوت نمایید زیرا کسی‌که نبوت کند بهتر است ازکسی‌که به زبانها حرف زند، مگر آنکه ترجمه کندتا کلیسا بنا شود. | ۵ |
6 Now I, brethren, if I should come unto you, speaking in unknown languages, what should I profit you, unless I should speak to you intelligibly by revelation, or by science, or by prophecy, or by doctrine?
| اما الحال‌ای برادران اگر نزد شما آیم و به زبانها سخن رانم، شما را چه سود می‌بخشم؟ مگرآنکه شما را به مکاشفه یا به معرفت یا به نبوت یا به تعلیم گویم. | ۶ |
7 In like manner things inanimate, giving sound, whether the pipe, or the harp, unless they express a distinction in their tones, how shall it be known what is piped, or what is harped?
| و همچنین چیزهای بیجان که صدا می‌دهد چون نی یا بربط اگر در صداها فرق نکند، چگونه آواز نی یا بربط فهمیده می‌شود؟ | ۷ |
8 For if the trumpet also give an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself for the battle?
| زیر اگر کرنا نیز صدای نامعلوم دهد که خود رامهیای جنگ می‌سازد؟ | ۸ |
9 So also ye, unless with the tongue you speak an intelligible discourse, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye will speak to the air.
| همچنین شما نیز به زبان، سخن مفهوم نگویید، چگونه معلوم می‌شودآن چیزی که گفته شد زیرا که به هوا سخن خواهید گفت؟ | ۹ |
10 For though there are so many different kinds of languages in the world, yet is not one of them without its meaning.
| زیرا که انواع زبانهای دنیاهرقدر زیاده باشد، ولی یکی بی‌معنی نیست. | ۱۰ |
11 If therefore I know not the force of the expression, I shall be to him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh will be a barbarian unto me.
| پس هرگاه قوت زبان را نمی دانم، نزد متکلم بربری می‌باشم و آنکه سخن گوید نزد من بربری می‌باشد. | ۱۱ |
12 So also ye, if ye zealously affect spiritual gifts, seek that ye may abound in them for the edification of the church.
| همچنن شما نیز چونکه غیورعطایای روحانی هستید بطلبید اینکه برای بنای کلیسا افزوده شوید. | ۱۲ |
13 Therefore let him who speaketh in an unknown tongue, pray that he may interpret also.
| بنابراین کسی‌که به زبانی سخن می‌گوید، دعا بکند تا ترجمه نماید. | ۱۳ |
14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my mind produces no fruit.
| زیرا اگر به زبانی دعاکنم، روح من دعا می‌کند لکن عقل من برخوردارنمی شود. | ۱۴ |
15 What then is my object? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing psalms with the spirit, and I will sing psalms with the understanding also.
| پس مقصود چیست؟ به روح دعاخواهم کرد و به عقل نیز دعا خواهم نمود؛ به روح سرود خواهم خواند و به عقل نیز خواهم خواند. | ۱۵ |
16 Else, though thou bless God in spirit, how shall he who filleth the place of an illiterate man, say Amen after thy thanksgiving, seeing he knoweth not what thou sayest?
| زیرا اگر در روح تبرک می‌خوانی، چگونه آن کسی‌که به منزلت امی است، به شکر تو آمین گوید و حال آنکه نمی فهمد چه می‌گویی؟ | ۱۶ |
17 For thou indeed givest thanks to God well, but another man is not edified by it.
| زیرا تو البته خوب شکر می‌کنی، لکن آن دیگربنا نمی شود. | ۱۷ |
18 I thank my God, that I speak with different tongues more than you all:
| خدا را شکر می‌کنم که زیادتر ازهمه شما به زبانها حرف می‌زنم. | ۱۸ |
19 but in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may instruct others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
| لکن در کلیسابیشتر می‌پسندم که پنج کلمه به عقل خود گویم تادیگران را نیز تعلیم دهم از آنکه هزاران کلمه به زبان بگویم. | ۱۹ |
20 Brethren, be not children in your minds: though in naughtiness be ye children, but in your minds be men complete.
| ای برادران، در فهم اطفال مباشید بلکه در بدخویی اطفال باشید و در فهم رشید. | ۲۰ |
21 In the law it is written, “That with other tongues, and with other lips, will I speak to this people: and even thus will they not attend to me, saith the Lord.”
| درتورات مکتوب است که «خداوند می‌گوید به زبانهای بیگانه و لبهای غیر به این قوم سخن خواهم گفت و با این همه مرا نخواهند شنید.» | ۲۱ |
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to those that believe, but to those who do not believe: but the gift of prophecy is not for those who are infidels, but for believers.
| پس زبانها نشانی است نه برای ایمان داران بلکه برای بی‌ایمانان؛ اما نبوت برای بی‌ایمان نیست بلکه برای ایمانداران است. | ۲۲ |
23 If then the whole church assemble together in the same place, and all speak different tongues, and there come in illiterate persons, or infidels, will they not say ye are mad?
| پس اگر تمام کلیسادر جایی جمع شوند و همه به زبانها حرف زنند وامیان یا بی‌ایمانان داخل شوند، آیا نمی گویند که دیوانه‌اید؟ | ۲۳ |
24 But if all prophesy, and any infidel or illiterate person come in, he receives conviction from all, he is judged of all:
| ولی اگر همه نبوت کنند و کسی ازبی ایمانان یا امیان درآید، از همه توبیخ می‌یابد واز همه ملزم می‌گردد، | ۲۴ |
25 and thus the secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so falling down on his face, he will worship God, declaring that God verily is among you.
| و خفایای قلب او ظاهرمی شود و همچنین به روی درافتاده، خدا راعبادت خواهد کرد و ندا خواهد داد که «فی الحقیقه خدا در میان شما است.» | ۲۵ |
26 How comes it then, brethren, that when ye assemble together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation? Let all things be done to edification.
| پس‌ای برادران مقصود این است که وقتی که جمع شوید، هریکی از شما سرودی دارد، تعلیمی دارد، زبانی دارد، مکاشفه‌ای دارد، ترجمه‌ای دارد، باید همه بجهت بنا بشود. | ۲۶ |
27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at most by three, and one after another; and let one interpret.
| اگرکسی به زبانی سخن گوید، دو دو یا نهایت سه سه باشند، به ترتیب و کسی ترجمه کند. | ۲۷ |
28 But if there be not an interpreter, let him be silent in the church; but let him speak to himself and to God.
| اما اگرمترجمی نباشد، در کلیسا خاموش باشد و با خودو با خدا سخن گوید. | ۲۸ |
29 Let the prophets two or three speak, and let the others judge.
| و از انبیا دو یا سه سخن بگویند و دیگران تمیز دهند. | ۲۹ |
30 But if any thing should be revealed to one sitting by, let the first be silent.
| و اگر چیزی به دیگری از اهل مجلس مکشوف شود، آن اول ساکت شود. | ۳۰ |
31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all be comforted.
| زیرا که همه می‌توانید یک یک نبوت کنید تا همه تعلیم یابند و همه نصیحت‌پذیرند. | ۳۱ |
32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
| و ارواح انبیا مطیع انبیا می‌باشند. | ۳۲ |
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of his saints.
| زیرا که او خدای تشویش نیست بلکه خدای سلامتی، چنانکه در همه کلیساهای مقدسان. | ۳۳ |
34 Let your women be silent in the churches: for it is not permitted to them to speak: but to be in subjection, as also the law saith.
| و زنان شما در کلیساها خاموش باشند زیرا که ایشان را حرف زدن جایز نیست بلکه اطاعت نمودن، چنانکه تورات نیز می‌گوید. | ۳۴ |
35 But if they will learn any thing, let them ask their own husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
| اما اگرمی خواهند چیزی بیاموزند، در خانه از شوهران خود بپرسند، چون زنان را در کلیسا حرف زدن قبیح است. | ۳۵ |
36 Went the word of God from you? or came it unto you only?
| آیا کلام خدا از شما صادر شد یا به شما به تنهایی رسید؟ | ۳۶ |
37 If any man thinketh that he is a prophet, or spiritually gifted, let him acknowledge that the things which I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
| اگر کسی خود را نبی یاروحانی پندارد، اقرار بکند که آنچه به شمامی نویسم، احکام خداوند است. | ۳۷ |
38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
| اما اگر کسی جاهل است، جاهل باشد. | ۳۸ |
39 Wherefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
| پس‌ای برادران، نبوت را به غیرت بطلبید و از تکلم نمودن به زبانهامنع مکنید. | ۳۹ |
40 Let all things be done with propriety, and orderly.
| لکن همه‌چیز به شایستگی و انتظام باشد. | ۴۰ |
