< Romans 6 >

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue still in sinne, that grace may abounde? God forbid.
Yaatin, nuuni woyganee? Xoossaa aadho keehatethay darana mela nagaran minnidi de7ino?
2 Howe shall we, that are dead to sinne, liue yet therein?
Akkay, nuuni nagaras hayqqidabaa gidikko, yaatin, nuuni hizappe waanidi nagaran daane?
3 Knowe ye not, that all we which haue bene baptized into Iesus Christ, haue bene baptized into his death?
Nu ubbay Kiristtoos Yesuusara issifanaw xammaqettida wode iya hayquwan iyara issifanaw xammaqettidayssa erekketiyye?
4 We are buried then with him by baptisme into his death, that like as Christ was raysed vp from the dead to the glorie of the Father, so we also should walke in newnesse of life.
Nu xammaqettida wode Kiristtoosara hayqqidanne moogettida. Kiristtoosi Xoossaa Aawa bonchcho wolqqan hayqoppe denddidayssa mela nukka ooratha de7on daana.
5 For if we be planted with him to the similitude of his death, euen so shall we be to the similitude of his resurrection,
Nu iya hayquwan iyara issino gidikko, hessadakka, iya dendduwan iyara issino gidana.
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sinne might be destroied, that henceforth we should not serue sinne.
Nu hizappe nagaras aylle gidonna melanne nu nagaranchcho asatethaa wolqqay dhayana mela nu cima asatethay Kiristtoosara kaqettidayssa eroos.
7 For he that is dead, is freed from sinne.
Issi asi Kiristtoosan hayqqidabaa gidikko, I nagara wolqqafe la77a keyis.
8 Wherefore, if we bee dead with Christ, we beleeue that we shall liue also with him,
Nuuni Kiristtoosara hayqqiko, iyara de7on daanayssa ammanoos.
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, dieth no more: death hath no more dominion ouer him.
Kiristtoosi hayqoppe denddida gisho, zaari I hayqqonnayssanne hayqoy sinthafe iya haaronnayssa nu eroos.
10 For in that hee died, hee died once to sinne but in that he liueth, he liueth to God.
I hayqqida wode nagaras issitoho wurssethi gakkanaw hayqqis, shin ha77i de7on Xoossaas de7ees.
11 Likewise thinke ye also, that ye are dead to sin, but are aliue to God in Iesus Christ our Lord.
Hessadakka, hintte nagaras hayqqidi, Godaa Kiristtoos Yesuusa baggara Xoossaas de7on de7eyssa qoppite.
12 Let not sinne reigne therefore in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in ye lusts therof:
Hessa gisho, hinttee, hintte asatethaa amuwaas kiitettonna mela hayqqiya hintte asatethaa nagari haaroppo.
13 Neither giue ye your members, as weapons of vnrighteousnes vnto sinne: but giue your selues vnto God, as they that are aliue from the dead, and giue your members as weapons of righteousnesse vnto God.
Qassi hintte asatethaa nagara oothanaw geellatetha miishe oothidi immofite. Shin hintte hayqoppe denddidi, de7on de7iya asada hintte asatethaa Xoossaas immite. Qassi hintte kumetha asatethaa xillo ooso oothanaw Xoossaas aathi immite.
14 For sinne shall not haue dominion ouer you: for ye are not vnder ye Lawe, but vnder grace.
Hintte Xoossaa aadho keehatethaa garssan de7eetappe attin higgefe garssan de7onna gisho nagari hinttena haaranaw bessenna.
15 What then? shall we sinne, because we are not vnder the Law, but vnder grace? God forbid.
Yaatin, nu woyganee? Higgefe garssan gidonnashin, Xoossaa aadho keehatethaa garssan de7iya gisho nagara oothaneeyye? Akkay!
16 Knowe ye not, that to whomsoeuer yee giue your selues as seruats to obey, his seruants ye are to whom ye obey, whether it be of sinne vnto death, or of obedience vnto righteousnesse?
Hintte issi asas kiitettanaw hinttena aylle oothidi immiya wode he hintte kiitetteyssas aylle gideyssa ereeta. Hessadakka, hintte nagaras kiitettiko, hinttew hayqo ehiya nagaraas aylle gideeta. Woykko hintte Xoossas kiitettiko xillotethi ehiya Xoossaas aylle gideeta.
17 But God be thanked, that ye haue beene the seruants of sinne, but yee haue obeyed from the heart vnto the forme of the doctrine, wherunto ye were deliuered.
Kase hintte nagaras aylle, shin ha77i hintte ekkida tuma timirttiyas kumetha wozanappe kiitettida gisho Xoossaas galati gido.
18 Being then made free from sinne, yee are made the seruants of righteousnesse.
Hintte nagara aylletethaa qashoppe bilettidi xillotetha aylle gidideta.
19 I speake after the maner of man, because of the infirmitie of your flesh: for as yee haue giuen your members seruants to vncleannes and to iniquitie, to commit iniquitie, so now giue your mebers seruants vnto righteousnesse in holinesse.
Hinttee hintte qofan daaburanchcho gidiya gisho, taani oodeskka geliya ogen odays. Kase hinttee, hintte asatethaa tunanne iitabaa oothanaw aylle oothidi immidayssa mela ha77i hintte asatethaa geeshshi gidana mela xillotetha aylle oothidi immite.
20 For when ye were the seruants of sinne, ye were freed from righteousnesse.
Hintte nagaras ayllettidi de7iya wode xillotethas haaretteketa.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things, whereof ye are nowe ashamed? For the ende of those things is death.
Hinttena ha77i yeellayiya beni hintte iita oosuwappe ay maade demmidetii? He oosota wurssethay hayqo.
22 But now being freed from sinne, and made seruants vnto God, ye haue your fruit in holines, and the end, euerlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
Shin hintte nagara aylletethaa qashoppe bilettidi, Xoossaas aylle gidideta. Hessi hinttena geeshshi oothidi merinaa de7uwakko kaalethees. (aiōnios g166)
23 For the wages of sinne is death: but the gift of God is eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Nagara gatey hayqo. Shin Xoossay, nu Godaa Kiristtoos Yesuusa baggara immiya imotay merinaa de7o. (aiōnios g166)
