Psalms 112

1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man, that feareth the Lord, and deliteth greatly in his commandements.

Ha-lê-lu-gia! Phước cho người nào kính sợ Ðức Giê-hô-va, Rất ưa thích điều răn Ngài!

2 His seede shall be mightie vpon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

Con cháu người sẽ cường thạnh trên đất; Dòng dõi người ngay thẳng sẽ được phước.

3 Riches and treasures shalbe in his house, and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.

Của cải và giàu có đều ở trong nhà người, Và sự công bình người còn đến đời đời.

4 Vnto the righteous ariseth light in darkenes: he is merciful and full of copassion and righteous.

Ánh sáng soi nơi tối tăm cho người ngay thẳng. Người hay làm ơn, có lòng thương xót, và là công bình.

5 A good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.

Phước cho người nào hay làm ơn, và cho mượn! Khi người bị kiện ắt sẽ được đoán xét cách chánh trực.

6 Surely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.

Người cũng chẳng hề bị lay động; Kỷ niệm người công bình còn đến đời đời.

7 He will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.

Người không sợ cái tin hung; Lòng người vững bền, tin cậy nơi Ðức Giê-hô-va.

8 His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

Lòng người kiên định, chẳng sự chi, Cho đến khi người thấy các cừu địch mình bị báo.

9 He hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.

Người vải tiền tài, bố thí kẻ thiếu thốn; Sự công bình người còn đến đời đời. Sừng người sẽ được ngước lên cách vinh hiển.

10 The wicked shall see it and be angrie: he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Kẻ ác sẽ thấy, bèn tức giận, Nghiến răng, và bị tiêu ta; Sự ước ao của kẻ ác sẽ hư mất đi.
