Numbers 34
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
BWANA akanena na Musa akasema,
2 Commande the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When yee come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall vnto your inheritance: that is, the land of Canaan with the coastes thereof.
“Waamuru watu wa Israeli na uwaambie, 'Mtakapoingia katika nchi ya Kanaani, nchi ambayo itakuwa mali yenu, nchi ya Kanaani na mipaka yake, mpaka wenu wa kusini utaendelea kutoka nyika ya Sini hadi mpaka wa Edomu.
3 And your Southquarter shalbe from the wildernesse of Zin to the borders of Edom: so that your Southquarter shall be from the salt Sea coast Eastwarde:
Mwisho wa mpaka wa kusini utakuwa mwisho wa bahari ya chumvi kuelekea mashariki.
4 And the border shall compasse you from the South to Maaleh-akrabbim, and reach to Zin, and goe out from the South to Kadesh-barnea: thence it shall stretch to Hazar-addar, and go along to Azmon.
Mpaka wenu utageukia kusini kutoka mlima kuelekea Akrabimu na kupitia nyika ya Sini. na kutokea huko utaelelkea kusini mwa Kadeshi Barinea na kuelekea Hazari Adari mpaka Azimoni.
5 And the border shall compasse from Azmon vnto the riuer of Egypt, and shall goe out to the Sea.
Kutoka huko, mpaka utageuka kutoka Azimoni kuelekea kijito cha Misri na kukifuata mpaka baharini.
6 And your Westquarter shall bee the great Sea: euen that border shalbe your Westcoast.
Mpaka wa Magharibi utakuwa pwani ya bahari kuu. Huu ndio utakuwa mpaka wenuwa Magharibi.
7 And this shall bee your Northquarter: yee shall marke out your border from the great Sea vnto mount Hor.
Mpaka wenu wa kaskazini utaanzia kwenye bahari kuu hadi Mlima Hori,
8 From mount Hor ye shall point out till it come vnto Hamath, and the end of the coast shall be at Zedad.
kisha kutoka Mlima Hori hadi Lebo Hamathi, kisha Zedadi.
9 And the coast shall reach out to Ziphron, and goe out at Hazar-enan. this shalbe your Northquarter.
Mpaka utaendelea hadi Zifroni na kuishia Hazari Enani. Huu ndio utakuwa mpaka wenu wa kaskazini.
10 And ye shall marke out your Eastquarter from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
Kisha mtaweka alama za mpaka wenu wa mashariki ambao utaanzia Hazari Enani kuelekea kusini Shefamu.
11 And the coast shall goe downe from Shepham to Riblah, and from the Eastside of Ain: and the same border shall descend and goe out at the side of the sea of Chinneereth Eastward.
Kisha mpaka wa kusini utaendelea kutoka Shefamu hadi Ribla, upande wa masharikia mwa Aini. Mpaka utaedelea upande huo wa mashariki hadi upande wa mashariki wa bahari ya Kinerethi.
12 Also that border shall goe downe to Iorden, and leaue at the salt Sea. this shalbe your land with the coastes thereof round about.
Kisha mpaka utaendelea kuelekea kusini hadi mto Yorodani na hadi bahari ya chumvi. Hii ndiyo itakuwa nchi yenu, kwa kuifuata mipaka yake yote inayozunguka.'”
13 Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the lande which yee shall inherite by lot, which the Lord commanded to giue vnto nine tribes and halfe the tribe.
Kisha Musa akawaamuru watu wa Israeli akasema, “Hii ndiyo nchi ambayo mtaipokes kwa kura, ambayo BWANA ameamuru kuwapa wale makabila tisa na nusu.
14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben, according to the housholdes of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, according to their fathers housholdes, and halfe the tribe of Manasseh, haue receiued their inheritance.
Kabila ya uzao wa Reubeni, kwa kufuata jinsi walivyopewa urithi kwa jamaa ya kabila yao, na uzao wa kabila la Gadi, kwa kufuata jinsi walivyopewa urithi kwa jamaa ya kabila yao, na nusu ya Manase wamepata ardhi yao.
15 Two tribes and an halfe tribe haue receiued their inheritance on this side of Iorden toward Iericho full East.
Wale makabila mawili na nusu wameshapata mgawo wao ng'ambo ya mto Yorodani upande wa mashariki, kuelekea kule linakotokea jua.”
16 Againe the Lord spake to Moses, saying,
BWANA akanena na Musa akasema,
17 These are the names of the men which shall deuide ye land vnto you: Eleazar the Priest, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
“Haya ndiyo majinaya watu watakaoigawa ardhi kwa ajili ya urithi wao: Eliazari kuhani na Joshua mwana wa Nuni.
18 And ye shall take also a prince of euerie tribe to deuide the land.
Mtachagua kiongozi mmoja toka kila kabila ili kuigawa ardhi kwa koo zao.
19 The names also of the men are these: Of the tribe of Iudah, Caleb ye sonne of Iephunneh.
Haya ndiyo majina ya wanaume: Kutoka kabila la Yuda, Kalebu mwana wa Yefune.
20 And of the tribe of the sonnes of Simeon, Shemuel the sonne of Ammihud.
Kutoka kwenye kabila la uzao wa Simeoni, Shemueli mwana wa Amihudi.
21 Of the tribe of Beniamin, Elidad the sonne of Chislon.
Kutoka kabila la Benjamini, Elidadi mwana wa Kisloni.
22 Also of the tribe of the sonnes of Dan, the prince Bukki, the sonne of Iogli.
Kiongozi kutoka kabila la uzao wa Dani, Buki mwana wa Jogili.
23 Of the sonnes of Ioseph: of the tribe of the sonnes of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel the sonne of Ephod.
Kiongozi kutoka uzao wa Yusufu, kwenye kabila la Manase, Hannieli mwana wa Efodi.
24 And of the tribe of the sonnes of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the sonne of Shiphtan.
Kiongozi kutoka kwenye kabila la uzao wa Efraimu, Kemueli mwana wa Shiftani.
25 Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the sonne of Parnach.
Kiongozi kutoka kabila la uzao wa Zabuloni, Elizafani mwana wa Parinaki.
26 So of the tribe of the sonnes of Issachar, the prince Paltiel the sonne of Azzan.
Kiongozi kutoka kwenye kabila la uzao wa Isakari, Palitieli mwana wa Azzani.
27 Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the sonne of Shelomi.
Kiongozi kutoka kabila la uzao wa Asheri, Ahihudi mwana wa Shelomi.
28 And of the tribe of the sonnes of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the sonne of Ammihud.
Kiongozi kutoka kabila la uzao wa Naftali, Pedaheli mwana wa Amihudi.”
29 These are they, whome the Lord commanded to deuide the inheritance vnto the children of Israel, in the land of Canaan.
BWANA aliwaamuru wanaume hawa kuigawa nchi ya Kanaani na kuwapa kila kabla sehemu yao.
