Numbers 33
1 These are the iourneyes of the children of Israel, which went out of the land of Egypt according to their bands vnder the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Lezi zinhambo zabantwana bakoIsrayeli abaphuma elizweni leGibhithe ngamabutho abo, ngesandla sikaMozisi loAroni.
2 And Moses wrote their going out by their iourneies according to ye commandement of the Lord: so these are ye iourneies of their going out.
UMozisi wasebhala ukuphuma kwabo ngezinhambo zabo ngokomlayo weNkosi. Lalezi zinhambo zabo njengokuphuma kwabo.
3 Nowe they departed from Rameses the first moneth, euen the fifteenth day of the first moneth, on the morowe after the Passeouer: and the children of Israel went out with an hie hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
Basebesuka eRamesesi ngenyanga yokuqala ngosuku lwetshumi lanhlanu lwenyanga yokuqala; ngakusisa kwephasika abantwana bakoIsrayeli baphuma ngesandla esiphakemeyo phambi kwamehlo awo wonke amaGibhithe,
4 (For the Egyptians buried all their first borne, which the Lord had smitten among them: vpon their gods also the Lord did execution.)
lapho amaGibhithe engcwaba labo iNkosi eyabatshayayo phakathi kwawo, wonke amazibulo; laphezu kwabonkulunkulu bawo iNkosi yenza isigwebo.
5 And the children of Israel remoued from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
Abantwana bakoIsrayeli basebesuka eRamesesi, bamisa inkamba eSukothi.
6 And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wildernesse.
Basuka eSukothi, bamisa inkamba eEthama elisekucineni kwenkangala.
7 And they remoued from Etham, and turned againe vnto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon, and pitched before Migdol.
Basuka eEthama, babuyela ePi-Hahirothi ephambi kweBhali-Zefoni, bamisa inkamba phambi kweMigidoli.
8 And they departed from before Hahiroth, and went through the middes of the Sea into the wildernesse, and went three dayes iourney in the wildernesse of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
Basuka ePi-Hahirothi, badabula phakathi kolwandle besiya enkangala; bahamba uhambo lwensuku ezintathu enkangala yeEthama, bamisa inkamba eMara.
9 And they remoued from Marah, and came vnto Elim, and in Elim were twelue fountaines of water, and seuentie palme trees, and they pitched there.
Basuka eMara, bayafika eElimi; njalo eElimi kwakukhona imithombo yamanzi elitshumi lambili lezihlahla zelala ezingamatshumi ayisikhombisa; basebemisa inkamba lapho.
10 And they remoued from Elim, and camped by the red Sea.
Basuka eElimi, bamisa inkamba eLwandle oluBomvu.
11 And they remoued from the red Sea, and lay in the wildernesse of Sin.
Basuka eLwandle oluBomvu, bamisa inkamba enkangala yeSini.
12 And they tooke their iourney out of the wildernesse of Sin, and set vp their tentes in Dophkah.
Basuka enkangala yeSini, bamisa inkamba eDofika.
13 And they departed from Dophkah, and lay in Alush.
Basuka eDofika, bamisa inkamba eAlushi.
14 And they remoued from Alush, and lay in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drinke.
Basuka eAlushi, bamisa inkamba eRefidimi lapho okwakungelamanzi khona okuthi abantu banathe.
15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wildernesse of Sinai.
Basebesuka eRefidimi, bamisa inkamba enkangala yeSinayi.
16 And they remoued from the desert of Sinai, and pitched in Kibroth Hattaauah.
Basuka enkangala yeSinayi, bamisa inkamba eKibirothi-Hathava.
17 And they departed from Kibroth Hattaauah, and lay at Hazeroth.
Basuka eKibirothi-Hathava, bamisa inkamba eHazerothi.
18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
Basuka eHazerothi, bamisa inkamba eRithima.
19 And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon Parez.
Basuka eRithima, bamisa inkamba eRimoni-Perezi.
20 And they departed from Rimmon Parez, and pitched in Libnah.
Basuka eRimoni-Perezi, bamisa inkamba eLibhina.
21 And they remoued from Libnah, and pitched in Rissah.
Basuka eLibhina, bamisa inkamba eRisa.
22 And they iourneyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
Basuka eRisa, bamisa inkamba eKehelatha.
23 And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
Basuka eKehelatha, bamisa inkamba entabeni yeSheferi.
24 And they remoued from mount Shapher, and lay in Haradah.
Basuka entabeni yeSheferi, bamisa inkamba eHarada.
25 And they remoued from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
Basuka eHarada, bamisa inkamba eMakelothi.
26 And they remoued from Makheloth, and lay in Tahath.
Basuka eMakelothi, bamisa inkamba eTahathi.
27 And they departed from Tahath, and pitched in Tarah.
Basuka eTahathi, bamisa inkamba eTera.
28 And they remoued from Tarah, and pitched in Mithkah.
Basuka eTera, bamisa inkamba eMithika.
29 And they went from Mithkah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
Basuka eMithika, bamisa inkamba eHashimona.
30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and lay in Moseroth.
Basuka eHashimona, bamisa inkamba eMoserothi.
31 And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-iaakan.
Basuka eMoserothi, bamisa inkamba eBene-Jakani.
32 And they remoued from Bene-iaakan, and lay in Hor-hagidgad.
Basuka eBene-Jakani, bamisa inkamba eHori-Hagidigadi.
33 And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Iotbathah.
Basuka eHori-Hagidigadi, bamisa inkamba eJotibatha.
34 And they remoued from Iotbathah, and lay in Ebronah.
Basuka eJotibatha, bamisa inkamba eAbrona.
35 And they departed from Ebronah, and lay in Ezion-gaber.
Basuka eAbrona, bamisa inkamba eEziyoni-Geberi.
36 And they remoued from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wildernesse of Zin, which is Kadesh.
Basuka eEziyoni-Geberi, bamisa inkamba enkangala yeZini, eyiKadeshi.
37 And they remooued from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
Basuka eKadeshi, bamisa inkamba entabeni yeHori ekucineni kwelizwe leEdoma.
38 (And Aaron the Priest went vp into mount Hor, at the commandement of the Lord, and died there, in the fourtieth yeere after the children of Israel were come out of the lande of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth moneth.
UAroni umpristi wasesenyukela entabeni yeHori ngokomlayo weNkosi, wafela khona, ngomnyaka wamatshumi amane emva kokuphuma kwabantwana bakoIsrayeli elizweni leGibhithe, ngenyanga yesihlanu, ngosuku lokuqala lwenyanga.
39 And Aaron was an hundreth, and three and twentie yeere olde, when hee dyed in mount Hor.
Njalo uAroni wayeleminyaka elikhulu lamatshumi amabili lantathu ekufeni kwakhe entabeni yeHori.
40 And King Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the South of the land of Canaan, heard of the comming of the children of Israel)
UmKhanani, inkosi yeAradi, owayehlala eningizimu elizweni leKhanani, wasesizwa ngokuza kwabantwana bakoIsrayeli.
41 And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
Basebesuka entabeni yeHori, bamisa inkamba eZalimona.
42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
Basuka eZalimona, bamisa inkamba ePunoni.
43 And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
Basuka ePunoni, bamisa inkamba eObothi.
44 And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Iie-abarim, in the borders of Moab.
Basuka eObothi, bamisa inkamba eIye-Abarimi, emngceleni wakoMowabi.
45 And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
Basuka eIyimi, bamisa inkamba eDiboni-Gadi.
46 And they remooued from Dibon-gad, and lay in Almon-diblathaim.
Basuka eDiboni-Gadi, bamisa inkamba eAlimoni-Dibilathayimi.
47 And they remooued from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountaines of Abarim before Nebo.
Basuka eAlimoni-Dibilathayimi, bamisa inkamba entabeni zeAbarimi, phambi kweNebo.
48 And they departed from the mountaines of Abarim, and pitched in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden toward Iericho.
Basuka entabeni zeAbarimi, bamisa inkamba emagcekeni akoMowabi eJordani eJeriko;
49 And they pitched by Iorden, from Bethieshimoth vnto Abel-shittim in the playne of Moab.
bamisa inkamba eJordani kusukela eBeti-Jeshimothi kusiya eAbeli-Shithimi, emagcekeni akoMowabi.
50 And the Lord spake vnto Moses in the playne of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
INkosi yasikhuluma kuMozisi emagcekeni akoMowabi, eJordani eJeriko, isithi:
51 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye are come ouer Iorden to enter into the land of Canaan,
Tshono ebantwaneni bakoIsrayeli uthi kubo: Lapho selichaphe iJordani laya elizweni leKhanani,
52 Ye shall then driue out all the inhabitants of the land before you, and destroy all their pictures, and breake asunder all their images of metall, and plucke downe all their hie places.
lizaxotsha bonke abakhileyo belizwe libakhuphe emfuyweni yabo phambi kwenu, lichithe yonke imifanekiso yabo, lichithe zonke izithombe zabo ezibunjwe ngokuncibilikisa, liqede zonke indawo zabo eziphakemeyo,
53 And ye shall possesse the lande and dwell therein: for I haue giue you ye land to possesse it.
lidle ilifa lelizwe, lihlale kilo, ngoba ngilinike ilizwe ukuthi lidle ilifa lalo.
54 And ye shall inherite the land by lot according to your families: to the more yee shall giue more inheritance, and to the fewer the lesse inheritance. Where the lot shall fall to any man, that shall be his: according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherite.
Njalo lizakudla ilifa lelizwe ngenkatho ngensendo zenu; kwabanengi lizakwengeza ilifa labo, lakwabalutshwana lizanciphisa ilifa labo. Lapho inkatho ezamphumela khona umuntu, kuzakuba ngokwakhe. Njengezizwe zaboyihlo lizakudla ilifa.
55 But if ye will not driue out the inhabitants of the land before you, then those which yee let ramaine of them, shalbe prickes in your eyes, and thornes in your sides, and shall vexe you in the land wherein ye dwell.
Kodwa nxa lingabakhuphi abakhileyo elizweni emfuyweni yabo phambi kwenu, khona kuzakuthi elibatshiyayo babo bazakuba zimvava emehlweni enu babe ngameva ezinhlangothini zenu, balihluphe elizweni elihlala kilo.
56 Moreouer, it shall come to passe, that I shall doe vnto you, as I thought to do vnto them.
Kuzakuthi-ke, ngizakwenza kini njengalokhu ebengicabanga ukukwenza kubo.
