< Numbers 33 >
1 These are the iourneyes of the children of Israel, which went out of the land of Egypt according to their bands vnder the hand of Moses and Aaron.
These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went forth out of the land of Egypt according to their armies, under the guidance of Moses and Aaron.
2 And Moses wrote their going out by their iourneies according to ye commandement of the Lord: so these are ye iourneies of their going out.
And Moses wrote their departures according to their journeys by the order of the Lord; and these are their journeys according to their departures.
3 Nowe they departed from Rameses the first moneth, euen the fifteenth day of the first moneth, on the morowe after the Passeouer: and the children of Israel went out with an hie hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
And they set forward from Ra'meses in the first month; on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow after the passover-sacrifice the children of Israel went out with a high hand before the eyes of all the Egyptians.
4 (For the Egyptians buried all their first borne, which the Lord had smitten among them: vpon their gods also the Lord did execution.)
And the Egyptians were burying all the first-born, whom the Lord had smitten among them; and upon their gods also did the Lord execute judgments.
5 And the children of Israel remoued from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
And the children of Israel removed from Ra'meses, and encamped in Succoth.
6 And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wildernesse.
And they removed from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness:
7 And they remoued from Etham, and turned againe vnto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon, and pitched before Migdol.
And they removed from Etham, and returned unto Pi-hachiroth, which is before Ba'al-zephon; and they encamped before Migdol.
8 And they departed from before Hahiroth, and went through the middes of the Sea into the wildernesse, and went three dayes iourney in the wildernesse of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
And they removed from before Pi-hachiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness; and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
9 And they remoued from Marah, and came vnto Elim, and in Elim were twelue fountaines of water, and seuentie palme trees, and they pitched there.
And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim; and in Elim there were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm-trees; and they encamped there.
10 And they remoued from Elim, and camped by the red Sea.
And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.
11 And they remoued from the red Sea, and lay in the wildernesse of Sin.
And they removed from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 And they tooke their iourney out of the wildernesse of Sin, and set vp their tentes in Dophkah.
And they removed from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13 And they departed from Dophkah, and lay in Alush.
And they removed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14 And they remoued from Alush, and lay in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drinke.
And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink.
15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wildernesse of Sinai.
And they removed from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 And they remoued from the desert of Sinai, and pitched in Kibroth Hattaauah.
And they removed from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.
17 And they departed from Kibroth Hattaauah, and lay at Hazeroth.
And they removed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped in Chazeroth.
18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
And they removed from Chazeroth, and encamped in Rithmah.
19 And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon Parez.
And they removed from Rithmah, and encamped in Rimmon-perez.
20 And they departed from Rimmon Parez, and pitched in Libnah.
And they removed from Rimmon-perez, and encamped in Libnah.
21 And they remoued from Libnah, and pitched in Rissah.
And they removed from Libnah, and encamped in Rissah.
22 And they iourneyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
And they removed from Rissah, and encamped in Kehelathah.
23 And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
And they removed from Kehelathah, and encamped in mount Shapher.
24 And they remoued from mount Shapher, and lay in Haradah.
And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Charadah.
25 And they remoued from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
And they removed from Charadah, and encamped in Makheloth.
26 And they remoued from Makheloth, and lay in Tahath.
And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped in Tachath.
27 And they departed from Tahath, and pitched in Tarah.
And they removed from Tachath, and encamped in Tarach.
28 And they remoued from Tarah, and pitched in Mithkah.
And they removed from Tarach, and encamped in Mithkah.
29 And they went from Mithkah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
And they removed from Mithkah, and encamped in Chashmonah.
30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and lay in Moseroth.
And they removed from Chashmonah, and encamped in Mosseroth.
31 And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-iaakan.
And they removed from Mosseroth, and encamped in Bene-ya'akan.
32 And they remoued from Bene-iaakan, and lay in Hor-hagidgad.
And they removed from Bene-ya'akan, and encamped in Chor-hagidgad.
33 And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Iotbathah.
And they removed from Chor-hagidgad, and encamped in Yotbathah.
34 And they remoued from Iotbathah, and lay in Ebronah.
And they removed from Yotbathah, and encamped in 'Abronah.
35 And they departed from Ebronah, and lay in Ezion-gaber.
And they removed from 'Abronah, and encamped at 'Ezyon-geber.
36 And they remoued from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wildernesse of Zin, which is Kadesh.
And they removed from 'Ezyon-geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37 And they remooued from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
And they removed from Kadesh, and encamped at mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 (And Aaron the Priest went vp into mount Hor, at the commandement of the Lord, and died there, in the fourtieth yeere after the children of Israel were come out of the lande of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth moneth.
And Aaron the priest went up on mount Hor by the order of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the going out of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.
39 And Aaron was an hundreth, and three and twentie yeere olde, when hee dyed in mount Hor.
And Aaron was a hundred and twenty and three years old when he died on mount Hor.
40 And King Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the South of the land of Canaan, heard of the comming of the children of Israel)
And the Canaanite the king of 'Arad, who dwelt on the south side in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
And they removed from mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.
42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
And they removed from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.
43 And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
And they removed from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
44 And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Iie-abarim, in the borders of Moab.
And they removed from Oboth, and encamped in 'Iye-ha'abarim, on the border of Moab.
45 And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
And they removed from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon-gad.
46 And they remooued from Dibon-gad, and lay in Almon-diblathaim.
And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in 'Almon-diblathaymah.
47 And they remooued from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountaines of Abarim before Nebo.
And they removed from 'Almon-diblathaymah, and encamped on the mountains of 'Abarim, before Nebo.
48 And they departed from the mountaines of Abarim, and pitched in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden toward Iericho.
And they removed from the mountains of 'Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.
49 And they pitched by Iorden, from Bethieshimoth vnto Abel-shittim in the playne of Moab.
And they encamped by the Jordan, from Beth-hayeshimoth even unto Abel-hashittim in the plains of Moab.
50 And the Lord spake vnto Moses in the playne of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,
51 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye are come ouer Iorden to enter into the land of Canaan,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan:
52 Ye shall then driue out all the inhabitants of the land before you, and destroy all their pictures, and breake asunder all their images of metall, and plucke downe all their hie places.
Then shall ye drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and ye shall destroy all their statues, and all their molten images shall ye destroy, and devastate all their high places.
53 And ye shall possesse the lande and dwell therein: for I haue giue you ye land to possesse it.
And ye shall drive out [the inhabitants of] the land, and ye shall dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it.
54 And ye shall inherite the land by lot according to your families: to the more yee shall giue more inheritance, and to the fewer the lesse inheritance. Where the lot shall fall to any man, that shall be his: according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherite.
And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families; to the numerous shall ye give the more inheritance, and to the small in number shall ye give the less inheritance: there, where the lot designateth it for him, shall every one's possessions be; according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye divide it among yourselves.
55 But if ye will not driue out the inhabitants of the land before you, then those which yee let ramaine of them, shalbe prickes in your eyes, and thornes in your sides, and shall vexe you in the land wherein ye dwell.
But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you: then shall it come to pass, that those whom ye will let remain of them shall be as thorns in your eyes, and as stings in your sides, and they shall trouble you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Moreouer, it shall come to passe, that I shall doe vnto you, as I thought to do vnto them.
And it shall come to pass, that as I purposed to do unto them, will I do unto you.
