< Numbers 2 >

1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,
And the Lord spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2 Euery man of the children of Israel shall campe by his standerd, and vnder the ensigne of their fathers house: farre off about the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall they pitch.
Every man by his own standard, by the ensign of their family division, shall the children of Israel pitch their tent; at some distance round about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they encamp.
3 On the East side towarde the rising of the sunne, shall they of the standerd of the hoste of Iudah pitch according to their armies: and Nahshon the sonne of Amminadab shalbe captaine of the sonnes of Iudah.
And they, who encamp on the east, toward the rising of the sun, shall be [those who belong to] the standard of the camp of Judah according to their armies: and the prince of the children of Judah shall be Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.
4 And his hoste and the nomber of the were seuentie and foure thousande and sixe hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.
5 Next vnto him shall they of the tribe of Issachar pitch, and Nethaneel the sonne of Zuar shalbe the captaine of the sonnes of Issachar:
And those that encamp next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and the prince of the children of Issachar shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar.
6 And his hoste, and the nomber thereof were foure and fiftie thousand, and foure hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
7 Then the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the sonne of Helon, captaine ouer the sonnes of Zebulun:
[Then] the tribe of Zebulun: and the prince of the children of Zebulun shall be Eliab the son of Chelon.
8 And his hoste, and the nomber thereof seuen and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth:
And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
9 The whole nomber of the hoste of Iudah are an hundreth fourescore and sixe thousande, and foure hundreth according to their armies: they shall first set foorth.
All that were numbered of the camp of Judah were one hundred thousand and eighty thousand and six thousand and four hundred, according to their armies: they shall first set forward.
10 On the South side shalbe ye standerd of the host of Reuben according to their armies, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Reuben shalbe Elizur the sonne of Shedeur.
The standard of the camp of Reuben shall be on the south side, according to their armies: and the prince of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
11 And his host, and the nomber thereof sixe and fourty thousand and fiue hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
12 And by him shall the tribe of Simeon pitch, and the captaiue ouer the sonnes of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the sonne of Zurishaddai:
And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the prince of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of 'Zurishaddai.
13 And his hoste, and the nomber of them, nine and fiftie thousand and three hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
14 And the tribe of Gad, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Gad shall be Eliasaph the sonne of Deuel:
Then the tribe of Gad: and the prince of the sons of Gad shall be Elyassaph the son of Reuel.
15 And his host and the nomber of the were fiue and fourtye thousande, sixe hundreth and fiftie.
And his host, and those who were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
16 All the nomber of the campe of Reuben were an hundreth and one and fiftie thousande, and foure hundreth and fiftie according to their armies, and they shall set foorth in the seconde place.
All that were numbered of the camp of Reuben were one hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, according to their armies; and as the second shall they set forward.
17 Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall goe with the host of the Leuites, in the mids of the campe as they haue pitched, so shall they goe forwarde, euery man in his order according to their standerds.
Then shall the tabernacle of the congregation, the camp of the Levites, set forward in the midst of the camps: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place after their standards.
18 The standerd of the campe of Ephraim shalbe toward the west according to their armies: and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Ephraim shall be Elishama the sonne of Ammihud:
The standard of the camp of Ephraim shall be on the west side, according to their armies: and the prince of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of 'Ammihud.
19 And his host and the nomber of the were fortie thousand and fiue hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.
20 And by him shalbe the tribe of Manasseh, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Manasseh shalbe Gamliel the sonne of Pedahzur:
And by him shall be the tribe of Menasseh; and the prince of the children of Menasseh shall be Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.
21 And his hoste and the nomber of them were two and thirtie thousand and two hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
22 And the tribe of Beniamin, and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Beniamin shalbe Abidan the sonne of Gideoni:
Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the prince of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gidoni.
23 And his host, and the nomber of the were fiue and thirtie thousand and foure hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
24 All the nomber of the campe of Ephraim were an hundreth and eight thousande and one hundreth according to their armies, and they shall go in the third place.
All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were one hundred thousand and eight thousand and one hundred, according to their armies; and as the third shall they set forward.
25 The standerd of the host of Dan shalbe toward the North according to their armies: and the captaine ouer the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the sonne of Ammishaddai:
The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side, according to their armies: and the prince of the children of Dan shall be Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.
26 And his host and the number of them were two and threescore thousand and seue hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.
27 And by him shall the tribe of Asher pitch, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Asher shalbe Pagiel the sonne of Ocran.
And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the prince of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.
28 And his host and the nomber of them were one and fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
29 Then the tribe of Naphtali, and the captaine ouer the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the sonne of Enan:
Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the prince of the children of Naphtali shall be Achira the son of 'Enan.
30 And his host and the nomber of them were three and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
31 All the nomber of the host of Dan was an hundreth and seuen and fiftie thousand and sixe hundreth: they shall goe hinmost with their standerdes.
All those that were numbered of the camp of Dan were one hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred; the hindmost shall they set forward according to their standards.
32 These are the summes of the childre of Israel by ye houses of their fathers, all the nomber of ye host, according to their armies, six hundreth and three thousand, fiue hundreth and fiftie.
These are those that were numbered of the children of Israel according to their family divisions: and all those that were numbered of the camps, according to their armies, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33 But the Leuites were not nombred among the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses: so they pitched according to their standards, and so they iourneyed euery one with his families, according to the houses of their fathers.
And the children of Israel did all just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did they encamp by their standards, and so did they set forward every one after his family, by his division.
