Then all his sonnes and all his daughters rose vp to comfort him, but he woulde not be comforted, but said, Surely I will go downe into the graue vnto my sonne mourning: so his father wept for him. (Sheol )

Wherefore if thy right eye cause thee to offend, plucke it out, and cast it from thee: for better it is for thee, that one of thy members perish, then that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (Geenna )
ει δε ο οφθαλμοσ σου ο δεξιοσ σκανδαλιζει σε εξελε αυτον και βαλε απο σου συμφερει γαρ σοι ινα αποληται εν των μελων σου και μη ολον το σωμα σου βληθη εισ γεενναν (Geenna )
Also if thy right hand make thee to offend, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for better it is for thee that one of thy members perish, then that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (Geenna )

And feare yee not them which kill the bodie, but are nor able to kill the soule: but rather feare him, which is able to destroy both soule and bodie in hell. (Geenna )
και μη φοβεισθε απο των αποκτενοντων το σωμα την δε ψυχην μη δυναμενων αποκτειναι φοβηθητε δε μαλλον τον δυναμενον και την ψυχην και το σωμα απολεσαι εν γεεννη (Geenna )
And thou, Capernaum, which art lifted vp vnto heauen, shalt be brought downe to hell: for if the great workes, which haue bin done in thee, had bene done among them of Sodom, they had remained to this day. (Hadēs )
και συ καπερναουμ η εωσ του ουρανου υψωθεισα εωσ αδου καταβιβασθηση οτι ει εν σοδομοισ εγενοντο αι δυναμεισ αι γενομεναι εν σοι εμειναν αν μεχρι τησ σημερον (Hadēs )
And whosoeuer shall speake a word against the Sonne of man, it shall be forgiuen him: but whosoeuer shall speake against the holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiuen him, neither in this worlde, nor in the worlde to come. (aiōn )
και οσ εαν ειπη λογον κατα του υιου του ανθρωπου αφεθησεται αυτω οσ δ αν ειπη κατα του πνευματοσ του αγιου ουκ αφεθησεται αυτω ουτε εν τω νυν αιωνι ουτε εν τω μελλοντι (aiōn )
And hee that receiued the seede among thornes, is hee that heareth the woorde: but the care of this worlde, and the deceitfulnesse of riches choke the word, and he is made vnfruitfull. (aiōn )
ο δε εισ τασ ακανθασ σπαρεισ ουτοσ εστιν ο τον λογον ακουων και η μεριμνα του αιωνοσ τουτου και η απατη του πλουτου συμπνιγει τον λογον και ακαρποσ γινεται (aiōn )
And the enemie that soweth them, is the deuill, and the haruest is the end of the worlde, and the reapers be the Angels. (aiōn )
ο δε εχθροσ ο σπειρασ αυτα εστιν ο διαβολοσ ο δε θερισμοσ συντελεια του αιωνοσ εστιν οι δε θερισται αγγελοι εισιν (aiōn )
As then the tares are gathered and burned in ye fire, so shall it be in the end of this world. (aiōn )
ωσπερ ουν συλλεγεται τα ζιζανια και πυρι καιεται ουτωσ εσται εν τη συντελεια του αιωνοσ τουτου (aiōn )
So shall it be at the end of the world. The Angels shall goe foorth, and seuer the bad from among the iust, (aiōn )
ουτωσ εσται εν τη συντελεια του αιωνοσ εξελευσονται οι αγγελοι και αφοριουσιν τουσ πονηρουσ εκ μεσου των δικαιων (aiōn )
And I say also vnto thee, that thou art Peter, and vpon this rocke I will builde my Church: and ye gates of hell shall not ouercome it. (Hadēs )
καγω δε σοι λεγω οτι συ ει πετροσ και επι ταυτη τη πετρα οικοδομησω μου την εκκλησιαν και πυλαι αδου ου κατισχυσουσιν αυτησ (Hadēs )
Wherefore, if thy hand or thy foote cause thee to offend, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life, halt, or maimed, then hauing two hands, or two feete, to be cast into euerlasting fire. (aiōnios )

And beholde, one came and sayd vnto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I doe, that I may haue eternall life? (aiōnios )
και ιδου εισ προσελθων ειπεν αυτω διδασκαλε αγαθε τι αγαθον ποιησω ινα εχω ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
And whosoeuer shall forsake houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my Names sake, he shall receiue an hundreth folde more, and shall inherite euerlasting life. (aiōnios )

And seeing a figge tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaues onely, and said to it, Neuer fruite grow on thee henceforwards. And anon the figge tree withered. (aiōn )
και ιδων συκην μιαν επι τησ οδου ηλθεν επ αυτην και ουδεν ευρεν εν αυτη ει μη φυλλα μονον και λεγει αυτη μηκετι εκ σου καρποσ γενηται εισ τον αιωνα και εξηρανθη παραχρημα η συκη (aiōn )
Wo be vnto you, Scribes and Pharises, hypocrites: for ye compasse sea and land to make one of your profession: and when he is made, ye make him two folde more the childe of hell, then you your selues. (Geenna )
ουαι υμιν γραμματεισ και φαρισαιοι υποκριται οτι περιαγετε την θαλασσαν και την ξηραν ποιησαι ενα προσηλυτον και οταν γενηται ποιειτε αυτον υιον γεεννησ διπλοτερον υμων (Geenna )
O serpents, the generation of vipers, howe should ye escape the damnation of hell! (Geenna )
οφεισ γεννηματα εχιδνων πωσ φυγητε απο τησ κρισεωσ τησ γεεννησ (Geenna )
And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, his disciples came vnto him apart, saying, Tell vs when these things shall be, and what signe shalbe of thy comming, and of the ende of the world. (aiōn )
καθημενου δε αυτου επι του ορουσ των ελαιων προσηλθον αυτω οι μαθηται κατ ιδιαν λεγοντεσ ειπε ημιν ποτε ταυτα εσται και τι το σημειον τησ σησ παρουσιασ και τησ συντελειασ του αιωνοσ (aiōn )
Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels. (aiōnios )
τοτε ερει και τοισ εξ ευωνυμων πορευεσθε απ εμου οι κατηραμενοι εισ το πυρ το αιωνιον το ητοιμασμενον τω διαβολω και τοισ αγγελοισ αυτου (aiōnios )
And these shall goe into euerlasting paine, and the righteous into life eternall. (aiōnios )
και απελευσονται ουτοι εισ κολασιν αιωνιον οι δε δικαιοι εισ ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen. (aiōn )
διδασκοντεσ αυτουσ τηρειν παντα οσα ενετειλαμην υμιν και ιδου εγω μεθ υμων ειμι πασασ τασ ημερασ εωσ τησ συντελειασ του αιωνοσ αμην (aiōn )
But hee that blasphemeth against the holy Ghost, shall neuer haue forgiuenesse, but is culpable of eternall damnation. (aiōn , aiōnios )
οσ δ αν βλασφημηση εισ το πνευμα το αγιον ουκ εχει αφεσιν εισ τον αιωνα αλλ ενοχοσ εστιν αιωνιου κρισεωσ (aiōn , aiōnios )
But the cares of this world, and the deceitfulnes of riches, and the lustes of other things enter in, and choke the word, and it is vnfruitfull. (aiōn )
και αι μεριμναι του αιωνοσ τουτου και η απατη του πλουτου και αι περι τα λοιπα επιθυμιαι εισπορευομεναι συμπνιγουσιν τον λογον και ακαρποσ γινεται (aiōn )
Wherefore, if thine hand cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life, maimed, then hauing two hands, to goe into hell, into the fire that neuer shalbe quenched, (Geenna )
και εαν σκανδαλιζη σε η χειρ σου αποκοψον αυτην καλον σοι εστιν κυλλον εισ την ζωην εισελθειν η τασ δυο χειρασ εχοντα απελθειν εισ την γεενναν εισ το πυρ το ασβεστον (Geenna )
Likewise, if thy foote cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to go halt into life, then hauing two feete, to be cast into hell, into the fire that neuer shalbe quenched, (Geenna )
και εαν ο πουσ σου σκανδαλιζη σε αποκοψον αυτον καλον εστιν σοι εισελθειν εισ την ζωην χωλον η τουσ δυο ποδασ εχοντα βληθηναι εισ την γεενναν εισ το πυρ το ασβεστον (Geenna )
And if thine eye cause thee to offende, plucke it out: it is better for thee to goe into the kingdome of God with one eye, then hauing two eyes, to be cast into hell fire, (Geenna )
και εαν ο οφθαλμοσ σου σκανδαλιζη σε εκβαλε αυτον καλον σοι εστιν μονοφθαλμον εισελθειν εισ την βασιλειαν του θεου η δυο οφθαλμουσ εχοντα βληθηναι εισ την γεενναν του πυροσ (Geenna )
And when hee was gone out on the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I doe, that I may possesse eternall life? (aiōnios )
και εκπορευομενου αυτου εισ οδον προσδραμων εισ και γονυπετησασ αυτον επηρωτα αυτον διδασκαλε αγαθε τι ποιησω ινα ζωην αιωνιον κληρονομησω (aiōnios )
But he shall receiue an hundred folde, now at this present, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come, eternall life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
εαν μη λαβη εκατονταπλασιονα νυν εν τω καιρω τουτω οικιασ και αδελφουσ και αδελφασ και μητερασ και τεκνα και αγρουσ μετα διωγμων και εν τω αιωνι τω ερχομενω ζωην αιωνιον (aiōn , aiōnios )
Then Iesus answered, and sayd to it, Neuer man eate fruite of thee hereafter while the world standeth: and his disciples heard it. (aiōn )
και αποκριθεισ ο ιησουσ ειπεν αυτη μηκετι εκ σου εισ τον αιωνα μηδεισ καρπον φαγοι και ηκουον οι μαθηται αυτου (aiōn )
And hee shall reigne ouer the house of Iacob for euer, and of his kingdome shall bee none ende. (aiōn )
και βασιλευσει επι τον οικον ιακωβ εισ τουσ αιωνασ και τησ βασιλειασ αυτου ουκ εσται τελοσ (aiōn )
(As hee hath spoken to our fathers, to wit, to Abraham, and his seede) for euer. (aiōn )
καθωσ ελαλησεν προσ τουσ πατερασ ημων τω αβρααμ και τω σπερματι αυτου εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
As he spake by ye mouth of his holy Prophets, which were since the world began, saying, (aiōn )
καθωσ ελαλησεν δια στοματοσ των αγιων των απ αιωνοσ προφητων αυτου (aiōn )
And they besought him, that he would not commaund them to goe out into the deepe. (Abyssos )
και παρεκαλει αυτον ινα μη επιταξη αυτοισ εισ την αβυσσον απελθειν (Abyssos )
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heauen, shalt be thrust downe to hell. (Hadēs )

Then beholde, a certaine Lawyer stoode vp, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I doe, to inherite eternall life? (aiōnios )
και ιδου νομικοσ τισ ανεστη εκπειραζων αυτον και λεγων διδασκαλε τι ποιησασ ζωην αιωνιον κληρονομησω (aiōnios )
But I wil forewarne you, who ye shall feare: feare him which after hee hath killed, hath power to cast into hell: yea, I say vnto you, him feare. (Geenna )
υποδειξω δε υμιν τινα φοβηθητε φοβηθητε τον μετα το αποκτειναι εξουσιαν εχοντα εμβαλειν εισ την γεενναν ναι λεγω υμιν τουτον φοβηθητε (Geenna )
And the Lord commended the vniust stewarde, because he had done wisely. Wherefore the children of this worlde are in their generation wiser then the children of light. (aiōn )
και επηνεσεν ο κυριοσ τον οικονομον τησ αδικιασ οτι φρονιμωσ εποιησεν οτι οι υιοι του αιωνοσ τουτου φρονιμωτεροι υπερ τουσ υιουσ του φωτοσ εισ την γενεαν την εαυτων εισιν (aiōn )
And I say vnto you, Make you friends with the riches of iniquitie, that when ye shall want, they may receiue you into euerlasting habitations. (aiōnios )
καγω υμιν λεγω ποιησατε εαυτοισ φιλουσ εκ του μαμωνα τησ αδικιασ ινα οταν εκλιπητε δεξωνται υμασ εισ τασ αιωνιουσ σκηνασ (aiōnios )
And being in hell in torments, he lift vp his eyes, and sawe Abraham a farre off, and Lazarus in his bosome. (Hadēs )
και εν τω αδη επαρασ τουσ οφθαλμουσ αυτου υπαρχων εν βασανοισ ορα τον αβρααμ απο μακροθεν και λαζαρον εν τοισ κολποισ αυτου (Hadēs )
Then a certaine ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what ought I to doe, to inherite eternall life? (aiōnios )
και επηρωτησεν τισ αυτον αρχων λεγων διδασκαλε αγαθε τι ποιησασ ζωην αιωνιον κληρονομησω (aiōnios )
Which shall not receiue much more in this world, and in the world to come life euerlasting. (aiōn , aiōnios )
οσ ου μη απολαβη πολλαπλασιονα εν τω καιρω τουτω και εν τω αιωνι τω ερχομενω ζωην αιωνιον (aiōn , aiōnios )
Then Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, The children of this world marry wiues, and are married. (aiōn )
και αποκριθεισ ειπεν αυτοισ ο ιησουσ οι υιοι του αιωνοσ τουτου γαμουσιν και εκγαμισκονται (aiōn )
But they which shalbe counted worthy to enioy that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry wiues, neither are married. (aiōn )
οι δε καταξιωθεντεσ του αιωνοσ εκεινου τυχειν και τησ αναστασεωσ τησ εκ νεκρων ουτε γαμουσιν ουτε εκγαμιζονται (aiōn )
That whosoeuer beleeueth in him, shoulde not perish, but haue eternall life. (aiōnios )
ινα πασ ο πιστευων εισ αυτον μη αποληται αλλ εχη ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
For God so loued the worlde, that hee hath giuen his onely begotten Sonne, that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life. (aiōnios )
ουτωσ γαρ ηγαπησεν ο θεοσ τον κοσμον ωστε τον υιον αυτου τον μονογενη εδωκεν ινα πασ ο πιστευων εισ αυτον μη αποληται αλλ εχη ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
Hee that beleeueth in the Sonne, hath euerlasting life, and hee that obeyeth not the Sonne, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. (aiōnios )
ο πιστευων εισ τον υιον εχει ζωην αιωνιον ο δε απειθων τω υιω ουκ οψεται ζωην αλλ η οργη του θεου μενει επ αυτον (aiōnios )
But whosoeuer drinketh of the water that I shall giue him, shall neuer be more a thirst: but the water that I shall giue him, shalbe in him a well of water, springing vp into euerlasting life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
οσ δ αν πιη εκ του υδατοσ ου εγω δωσω αυτω ου μη διψηση εισ τον αιωνα αλλα το υδωρ ο δωσω αυτω γενησεται εν αυτω πηγη υδατοσ αλλομενου εισ ζωην αιωνιον (aiōn , aiōnios )
And he that reapeth, receiueth rewarde, and gathereth fruite vnto life eternall, that both he that soweth, and he that reapeth, might reioyce together. (aiōnios )
και ο θεριζων μισθον λαμβανει και συναγει καρπον εισ ζωην αιωνιον ινα και ο σπειρων ομου χαιρη και ο θεριζων (aiōnios )
Verely, verely I say vnto you, he that heareth my worde, and beleeueth him that sent me, hath euerlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but hath passed from death vnto life. (aiōnios )
αμην αμην λεγω υμιν οτι ο τον λογον μου ακουων και πιστευων τω πεμψαντι με εχει ζωην αιωνιον και εισ κρισιν ουκ ερχεται αλλα μεταβεβηκεν εκ του θανατου εισ την ζωην (aiōnios )
Searche the Scriptures: for in them ye thinke to haue eternall life, and they are they which testifie of me. (aiōnios )
ερευνατε τασ γραφασ οτι υμεισ δοκειτε εν αυταισ ζωην αιωνιον εχειν και εκειναι εισιν αι μαρτυρουσαι περι εμου (aiōnios )
Labour not for ye meate which perisheth, but for the meate that endureth vnto euerlasting life, which the Sonne of man shall giue vnto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. (aiōnios )

I am that liuing breade, which came downe from heauen: if any man eate of this breade, hee shall liue for euer: and the bread that I will giue, is my flesh, which I will giue for the life of the world. (aiōn )

Whosoeuer eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternall life, and I will raise him vp at the last day. (aiōnios )

This is that bread which came downe from heauen: not as your fathers haue eaten Manna, and are deade. Hee that eateth of this bread, shall liue for euer. (aiōn )

Then Simon Peter answered him, Master, to whome shall we goe? thou hast the wordes of eternall life: (aiōnios )
απεκριθη ουν αυτω σιμων πετροσ κυριε προσ τινα απελευσομεθα ρηματα ζωησ αιωνιου εχεισ (aiōnios )
And the seruant abideth not in the house for euer: but the Sonne abideth for euer. (aiōn )
ο δε δουλοσ ου μενει εν τη οικια εισ τον αιωνα ο υιοσ μενει εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
Verely, verely I say vnto you, If a man keepe my word, he shall neuer see death. (aiōn )
αμην αμην λεγω υμιν εαν τισ τον λογον τον εμον τηρηση θανατον ου μη θεωρηση εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
Then said the Iewes to him, Now know we that thou hast a deuill. Abraham is dead, and the Prophets: and thou sayest, If a man keepe my worde, he shall neuer taste of death. (aiōn )
ειπον ουν αυτω οι ιουδαιοι νυν εγνωκαμεν οτι δαιμονιον εχεισ αβρααμ απεθανεν και οι προφηται και συ λεγεισ εαν τισ τον λογον μου τηρηση ου μη γευσηται θανατου εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
Since the world began, was it not heard, that any man opened the eyes of one that was borne blinde. (aiōn )
εκ του αιωνοσ ουκ ηκουσθη οτι ηνοιξεν τισ οφθαλμουσ τυφλου γεγεννημενου (aiōn )
And I giue vnto them eternall life, and they shall neuer perish, neither shall any plucke them out of mine hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
καγω ζωην αιωνιον διδωμι αυτοισ και ου μη απολωνται εισ τον αιωνα και ουχ αρπασει τισ αυτα εκ τησ χειροσ μου (aiōn , aiōnios )
And whosoeuer liueth, and beleeueth in me, shall neuer die: Beleeuest thou this? (aiōn )
και πασ ο ζων και πιστευων εισ εμε ου μη αποθανη εισ τον αιωνα πιστευεισ τουτο (aiōn )
He that loueth his life, shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world, shall keepe it vnto life eternall. (aiōnios )

The people answered him, We haue heard out of the Law, that that Christ bideth for euer: and howe sayest thou, that that Sonne of man must be lift vp? Who is that Sonne of man? (aiōn )
απεκριθη αυτω ο οχλοσ ημεισ ηκουσαμεν εκ του νομου οτι ο χριστοσ μενει εισ τον αιωνα και πωσ συ λεγεισ δει υψωθηναι τον υιον του ανθρωπου τισ εστιν ουτοσ ο υιοσ του ανθρωπου (aiōn )
And I knowe that his commandement is life euerlasting: the thinges therefore that I speake, I speake them so as the Father sayde vnto me. (aiōnios )
και οιδα οτι η εντολη αυτου ζωη αιωνιοσ εστιν α ουν λαλω εγω καθωσ ειρηκεν μοι ο πατηρ ουτωσ λαλω (aiōnios )
Peter said vnto him, Thou shalt neuer wash my feete. Iesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou shalt haue no part with me. (aiōn )
λεγει αυτω πετροσ ου μη νιψησ τουσ ποδασ μου εισ τον αιωνα απεκριθη αυτω ο ιησουσ εαν μη νιψω σε ουκ εχεισ μεροσ μετ εμου (aiōn )
And I wil pray the Father, and he shall giue you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for euer, (aiōn )
και εγω ερωτησω τον πατερα και αλλον παρακλητον δωσει υμιν ινα μενη μεθ υμων εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
As thou hast giuen him power ouer all flesh, that he shoulde giue eternall life to all them that thou hast giuen him. (aiōnios )
καθωσ εδωκασ αυτω εξουσιαν πασησ σαρκοσ ινα παν ο δεδωκασ αυτω δωσει αυτοισ ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
And this is life eternall, that they knowe thee to be the onely very God, and whom thou hast sent, Iesus Christ. (aiōnios )
αυτη δε εστιν η αιωνιοσ ζωη ινα γινωσκωσιν σε τον μονον αληθινον θεον και ον απεστειλασ ιησουν χριστον (aiōnios )
Because thou wilt not leaue my soule in graue, neither wilt suffer thine Holy one to see corruption. (Hadēs )
οτι ουκ εγκαταλειψεισ την ψυχην μου εισ αδου ουδε δωσεισ τον οσιον σου ιδειν διαφθοραν (Hadēs )
Hee knowing this before, spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soule shoulde not bee left in graue, neither his flesh shoulde see corruption. (Hadēs )
προιδων ελαλησεν περι τησ αναστασεωσ του χριστου οτι ου κατελειφθη η ψυχη αυτου εισ αδου ουδε η σαρξ αυτου ειδεν διαφθοραν (Hadēs )
Whome the heauen must containe vntill the time that all thinges be restored, which God had spoken by the mouth of all his holy Prophets since the world began. (aiōn )
ον δει ουρανον μεν δεξασθαι αχρι χρονων αποκαταστασεωσ παντων ων ελαλησεν ο θεοσ δια στοματοσ παντων των αγιων αυτου προφητων απ αιωνοσ (aiōn )
Then Paul and Barnabas spake boldly, and sayde, It was necessarie that the woorde of God shoulde first haue beene spoken vnto you: but seeing yee put it from you, and iudge your selues vnworthie of euerlasting life, loe, we turne to the Gentiles. (aiōnios )
παρρησιασαμενοι δε ο παυλοσ και ο βαρναβασ ειπον υμιν ην αναγκαιον πρωτον λαληθηναι τον λογον του θεου επειδη δε απωθεισθε αυτον και ουκ αξιουσ κρινετε εαυτουσ τησ αιωνιου ζωησ ιδου στρεφομεθα εισ τα εθνη (aiōnios )
And when the Gentiles heard it, they were glad, and glorified the woorde of the Lord: and as many as were ordeined vnto eternall life, beleeued. (aiōnios )
ακουοντα δε τα εθνη εχαιρεν και εδοξαζον τον λογον του κυριου και επιστευσαν οσοι ησαν τεταγμενοι εισ ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
From the beginning of the worlde, God knoweth all his workes. (aiōn )
γνωστα απ αιωνοσ εστιν τω θεω παντα τα εργα αυτου (aiōn )
For the inuisible things of him, that is, his eternal power and Godhead, are seene by ye creation of the worlde, being considered in his workes, to the intent that they should be without excuse: (aïdios )
τα γαρ αορατα αυτου απο κτισεωσ κοσμου τοισ ποιημασιν νοουμενα καθοραται η τε αιδιοσ αυτου δυναμισ και θειοτησ εισ το ειναι αυτουσ αναπολογητουσ (aïdios )
Which turned the trueth of God vnto a lie, and worshipped and serued the creature, forsaking the Creator, which is blessed for euer, Amen. (aiōn )
οιτινεσ μετηλλαξαν την αληθειαν του θεου εν τω ψευδει και εσεβασθησαν και ελατρευσαν τη κτισει παρα τον κτισαντα οσ εστιν ευλογητοσ εισ τουσ αιωνασ αμην (aiōn )
That is, to them which through patience in well doing, seeke glorie, and honour, and immortalitie, euerlasting life: (aiōnios )
τοισ μεν καθ υπομονην εργου αγαθου δοξαν και τιμην και αφθαρσιαν ζητουσιν ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
That as sinne had reigned vnto death, so might grace also reigne by righteousnesse vnto eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )

For the wages of sinne is death: but the gift of God is eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )

For God hath shut vp all in vnbeliefe, that he might haue mercie on all. (eleēsē )

For of him, and through him, and for him are all things: to him be glory for euer. Amen. (aiōn )

And fashion not your selues like vnto this worlde, but bee yee changed by the renewing of your minde, that ye may prooue what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is. (aiōn )

To him nowe that is of power to establish you according to my Gospel, and preaching of Iesus Christ, by the reuelation of the mysterie, which was kept secrete since the worlde began: (aiōnios )
τω δε δυναμενω υμασ στηριξαι κατα το ευαγγελιον μου και το κηρυγμα ιησου χριστου κατα αποκαλυψιν μυστηριου χρονοισ αιωνιοισ σεσιγημενου (aiōnios )
(But nowe is opened, and published among all nations by the Scriptures of the Prophetes, at the commandement of the euerlasting God for the obedience of faith) (aiōnios )

Where is the wise? where is the Scribe? where is the disputer of this worlde? hath not God made the wisedome of this worlde foolishnesse? (aiōn )

And we speake wisedome among them that are perfect: not the wisedome of this world, neither of the princes of this world, which come to nought. (aiōn )
σοφιαν δε λαλουμεν εν τοισ τελειοισ σοφιαν δε ου του αιωνοσ τουτου ουδε των αρχοντων του αιωνοσ τουτου των καταργουμενων (aiōn )
But we speake the wisedome of God in a mysterie, euen the hid wisedom, which God had determined before the world, vnto our glory. (aiōn )
αλλα λαλουμεν σοφιαν θεου εν μυστηριω την αποκεκρυμμενην ην προωρισεν ο θεοσ προ των αιωνων εισ δοξαν ημων (aiōn )
Which none of the princes of this world hath knowen: for had they knowen it, they would not haue crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
ην ουδεισ των αρχοντων του αιωνοσ τουτου εγνωκεν ει γαρ εγνωσαν ουκ αν τον κυριον τησ δοξησ εσταυρωσαν (aiōn )
Let no man deceiue himselfe: If any man among you seeme to be wise in this world, let him be a foole, that he may be wise. (aiōn )
μηδεισ εαυτον εξαπατατω ει τισ δοκει σοφοσ ειναι εν υμιν εν τω αιωνι τουτω μωροσ γενεσθω ινα γενηται σοφοσ (aiōn )
Wherefore if meate offende my brother, I wil eate no flesh while the world standeth, that I may not offend my brother. (aiōn )
διοπερ ει βρωμα σκανδαλιζει τον αδελφον μου ου μη φαγω κρεα εισ τον αιωνα ινα μη τον αδελφον μου σκανδαλισω (aiōn )
Nowe all these things came vnto them for ensamples, and were written to admonish vs, vpon whome the endes of the world are come. (aiōn )

O death where is thy sting? O graue where is thy victorie? (Hadēs )
που σου θανατε το κεντρον που σου αδη το νικοσ (Hadēs )
In whom the God of this world hath blinded the mindes, that is, of the infidels, that the light of the glorious Gospell of Christ, which is the image of God, should not shine vnto them. (aiōn )
εν οισ ο θεοσ του αιωνοσ τουτου ετυφλωσεν τα νοηματα των απιστων εισ το μη αυγασαι αυτοισ τον φωτισμον του ευαγγελιου τησ δοξησ του χριστου οσ εστιν εικων του θεου (aiōn )
For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie: (aiōnios )
το γαρ παραυτικα ελαφρον τησ θλιψεωσ ημων καθ υπερβολην εισ υπερβολην αιωνιον βαροσ δοξησ κατεργαζεται ημιν (aiōnios )
While we looke not on the thinges which are seene, but on the things which are not seene: for the things which are seene, are temporall: but the things which are not seene, are eternall. (aiōnios )
μη σκοπουντων ημων τα βλεπομενα αλλα τα μη βλεπομενα τα γαρ βλεπομενα προσκαιρα τα δε μη βλεπομενα αιωνια (aiōnios )
For we knowe that if our earthly house of this tabernacle be destroyed, we haue a building giuen of God, that is, an house not made with handes, but eternall in the heauens. (aiōnios )

The God, euen the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ, which is blessed for euermore, knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn )

Which gaue himself for our sinnes, that he might deliuer vs from this present euill world according to the will of God euen our Father, (aiōn )

For hee that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reape corruption: but hee that soweth to the spirit, shall of the spirit reape life euerlasting. (aiōnios )

That he might shewe in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace, through his kindnesse toward vs in Christ Iesus. (aiōn )

And to make cleare vnto all men what the fellowship of the mysterie is, which from the beginning of the world hath bene hid in God, who hath created all things by Iesus Christ, (aiōn )

According to the eternall purpose, which he wrought in Christ Iesus our Lord: (aiōn )

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly gouernours, the princes of the darkenesse of this worlde, against spirituall wickednesses, which are in ye hie places. (aiōn )
οτι ουκ εστιν ημιν η παλη προσ αιμα και σαρκα αλλα προσ τασ αρχασ προσ τασ εξουσιασ προσ τουσ κοσμοκρατορασ του σκοτουσ του αιωνοσ τουτου προσ τα πνευματικα τησ πονηριασ εν τοισ επουρανιοισ (aiōn )
Vnto God euen our Father be praise for euermore, Amen. (aiōn )

Which is the mysterie hid since the world began, and from all ages, but nowe is made manifest to his Saintes, (aiōn )
το μυστηριον το αποκεκρυμμενον απο των αιωνων και απο των γενεων νυνι δε εφανερωθη τοισ αγιοισ αυτου (aiōn )
Which shall be punished with euerlasting perdition, from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power, (aiōnios )
οιτινεσ δικην τισουσιν ολεθρον αιωνιον απο προσωπου του κυριου και απο τησ δοξησ τησ ισχυοσ αυτου (aiōnios )
Now the same Iesus Christ our Lord; and our God euen the Father which hath loued vs, and hath giuen vs euerlasting consolation and good hope through grace, (aiōnios )
αυτοσ δε ο κυριοσ ημων ιησουσ χριστοσ και ο θεοσ και πατηρ ημων ο αγαπησασ ημασ και δουσ παρακλησιν αιωνιαν και ελπιδα αγαθην εν χαριτι (aiōnios )
Notwithstanding, for this cause was I receiued to mercie, that Iesus Christ should first shewe on me all long suffering vnto the ensample of them, which shall in time to come beleeue in him vnto eternall life. (aiōnios )
αλλα δια τουτο ηλεηθην ινα εν εμοι πρωτω ενδειξηται ιησουσ χριστοσ την πασαν μακροθυμιαν προσ υποτυπωσιν των μελλοντων πιστευειν επ αυτω εισ ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
Nowe vnto the King euerlasting, immortall, inuisible, vnto God onely wise, be honour and glorie, for euer, and euer, Amen. (aiōn )
τω δε βασιλει των αιωνων αφθαρτω αορατω μονω σοφω θεω τιμη και δοξα εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων αμην (aiōn )
Fight the good fight of faith: lay holde of eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
αγωνιζου τον καλον αγωνα τησ πιστεωσ επιλαβου τησ αιωνιου ζωησ εισ ην εκληθησ και ωμολογησασ την καλην ομολογιαν ενωπιον πολλων μαρτυρων (aiōnios )
Who onely hath immortalitie, and dwelleth in the light that none can attaine vnto, whom neuer man sawe, neither can see, vnto whome bee honour and power euerlasting, Amen. (aiōnios )
ο μονοσ εχων αθανασιαν φωσ οικων απροσιτον ον ειδεν ουδεισ ανθρωπων ουδε ιδειν δυναται ω τιμη και κρατοσ αιωνιον αμην (aiōnios )
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, and that they trust not in vncertaine riches, but in the liuing God, (which giueth vs aboundantly, all things to enioy) (aiōn )
τοισ πλουσιοισ εν τω νυν αιωνι παραγγελλε μη υψηλοφρονειν μηδε ηλπικεναι επι πλουτου αδηλοτητι αλλ εν τω θεω τω ζωντι τω παρεχοντι ημιν παντα πλουσιωσ εισ απολαυσιν (aiōn )
Who hath saued vs, and called vs with an holy calling, not according to our workes, but according to his owne purpose and grace, which was giuen to vs through Christ Iesus before the world was, (aiōnios )
του σωσαντοσ ημασ και καλεσαντοσ κλησει αγια ου κατα τα εργα ημων αλλα κατ ιδιαν προθεσιν και χαριν την δοθεισαν ημιν εν χριστω ιησου προ χρονων αιωνιων (aiōnios )
Therefore I suffer all things, for the elects sake, that they might also obtaine the saluation which is in Christ Iesus, with eternall glorie. (aiōnios )
δια τουτο παντα υπομενω δια τουσ εκλεκτουσ ινα και αυτοι σωτηριασ τυχωσιν τησ εν χριστω ιησου μετα δοξησ αιωνιου (aiōnios )
For Demas hath forsaken me, and hath embraced this present world, and is departed vnto Thessalonica. Crescens is gone to Galatia, Titus vnto Dalmatia. (aiōn )
δημασ γαρ με εγκατελιπεν αγαπησασ τον νυν αιωνα και επορευθη εισ θεσσαλονικην κρησκησ εισ γαλατιαν τιτοσ εισ δαλματιαν (aiōn )
And the Lord will deliuer me from euery euil worke, and will preserue me vnto his heauenly kingdome: to whome be praise for euer and euer, Amen. (aiōn )
και ρυσεται με ο κυριοσ απο παντοσ εργου πονηρου και σωσει εισ την βασιλειαν αυτου την επουρανιον ω η δοξα εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων αμην (aiōn )
Vnto the hope of eternall life, which God that cannot lie, hath promised before the world began: (aiōnios )
επ ελπιδι ζωησ αιωνιου ην επηγγειλατο ο αψευδησ θεοσ προ χρονων αιωνιων (aiōnios )
And teacheth vs that we should denie vngodlinesse and worldly lusts, and that we should liue soberly and righteously, and godly in this present world, (aiōn )
παιδευουσα ημασ ινα αρνησαμενοι την ασεβειαν και τασ κοσμικασ επιθυμιασ σωφρονωσ και δικαιωσ και ευσεβωσ ζησωμεν εν τω νυν αιωνι (aiōn )
That we, being iustified by his grace, should be made heires according to the hope of eternall life. (aiōnios )
ινα δικαιωθεντεσ τη εκεινου χαριτι κληρονομοι γενωμεθα κατ ελπιδα ζωησ αιωνιου (aiōnios )
It may be that he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receiue him for euer, (aiōnios )
ταχα γαρ δια τουτο εχωρισθη προσ ωραν ινα αιωνιον αυτον απεχησ (aiōnios )
in these last dayes hee hath spoken vnto vs by his Sonne, Whom he hath made heire of al things, by whome also he made the worldes, (aiōn )
ον εθηκεν κληρονομον παντων δι ου και τουσ αιωνασ εποιησεν (aiōn )
But vnto the Sonne he saith, O God, thy throne is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnes. (aiōn )

And being consecrate, was made the authour of eternall saluation vnto all them that obey him: (aiōnios )
και τελειωθεισ εγενετο τοισ υπακουουσιν αυτω πασιν αιτιοσ σωτηριασ αιωνιου (aiōnios )
Of the doctrine of baptismes, and laying on of hands, and of the resurrection from the dead, and of eternall iudgement. (aiōnios )
βαπτισμων διδαχησ επιθεσεωσ τε χειρων αναστασεωσ τε νεκρων και κριματοσ αιωνιου (aiōnios )
And haue tasted of the good word of God, and of the powers of the world to come, (aiōn )
και καλον γευσαμενουσ θεου ρημα δυναμεισ τε μελλοντοσ αιωνοσ (aiōn )
Whither the forerunner is for vs entred in, euen Iesus that is made an hie Priest for euer after the order of Melchi-sedec. (aiōn )
οπου προδρομοσ υπερ ημων εισηλθεν ιησουσ κατα την ταξιν μελχισεδεκ αρχιερευσ γενομενοσ εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
For hee testifieth thus, Thou art a Priest for euer, after the order of Melchi-sedec. (aiōn )
μαρτυρει γαρ οτι συ ιερευσ εισ τον αιωνα κατα την ταξιν μελχισεδεκ (aiōn )
But this is made with an othe by him that said vnto him, The Lord hath sworne, and will not repent, Thou art a Priest for euer, after the order of Melchi-sedec) (aiōn )
ο δε μετα ορκωμοσιασ δια του λεγοντοσ προσ αυτον ωμοσεν κυριοσ και ου μεταμεληθησεται συ ιερευσ εισ τον αιωνα κατα την ταξιν μελχισεδεκ (aiōn )
But this man, because hee endureth euer, hath a Priesthood, which cannot passe from one to another. (aiōn )
ο δε δια το μενειν αυτον εισ τον αιωνα απαραβατον εχει την ιερωσυνην (aiōn )
For the Law maketh men hie Priestes, which haue infirmitie: but the word of the othe that was since the Lawe, maketh the Sonne, who is consecrated for euermore. (aiōn )
ο νομοσ γαρ ανθρωπουσ καθιστησιν αρχιερεισ εχοντασ ασθενειαν ο λογοσ δε τησ ορκωμοσιασ τησ μετα τον νομον υιον εισ τον αιωνα τετελειωμενον (aiōn )
Neither by the blood of goates and calues: but by his owne blood entred he in once vnto the holy place, and obteined eternall redemption for vs. (aiōnios )
ουδε δι αιματοσ τραγων και μοσχων δια δε του ιδιου αιματοσ εισηλθεν εφαπαξ εισ τα αγια αιωνιαν λυτρωσιν ευραμενοσ (aiōnios )
How much more shall the blood of Christ which through the eternall Spirit offered himselfe without fault to God, purge your conscience from dead workes, to serue the liuing God? (aiōnios )
ποσω μαλλον το αιμα του χριστου οσ δια πνευματοσ αιωνιου εαυτον προσηνεγκεν αμωμον τω θεω καθαριει την συνειδησιν υμων απο νεκρων εργων εισ το λατρευειν θεω ζωντι (aiōnios )
And for this cause is he the Mediatour of the newe Testament, that through death which was for the redemption of the transgressions that were in the former Testament, they which were called, might receiue the promise of eternall inheritance. (aiōnios )
και δια τουτο διαθηκησ καινησ μεσιτησ εστιν οπωσ θανατου γενομενου εισ απολυτρωσιν των επι τη πρωτη διαθηκη παραβασεων την επαγγελιαν λαβωσιν οι κεκλημενοι τησ αιωνιου κληρονομιασ (aiōnios )
(For then must he haue often suffred since the foundation of the world) but now in the end of the world hath he bene made manifest, once to put away sinne by the sacrifice of him selfe. (aiōn )
επει εδει αυτον πολλακισ παθειν απο καταβολησ κοσμου νυν δε απαξ επι συντελεια των αιωνων εισ αθετησιν αμαρτιασ δια τησ θυσιασ αυτου πεφανερωται (aiōn )
Through faith we vnderstand that the world was ordeined by the worde of God, so that the things which we see, are not made of things which did appeare. (aiōn )
πιστει νοουμεν κατηρτισθαι τουσ αιωνασ ρηματι θεου εισ το μη εκ φαινομενων τα βλεπομενα γεγονεναι (aiōn )
Iesus Christ yesterday, and to day, the same also is for euer. (aiōn )
ιησουσ χριστοσ χθεσ και σημερον ο αυτοσ και εισ τουσ αιωνασ (aiōn )
The God of peace that brought againe from the dead our Lord Iesus, the great shepheard of the sheepe, through the blood of the euerlasting Couenant, (aiōnios )
ο δε θεοσ τησ ειρηνησ ο αναγαγων εκ νεκρων τον ποιμενα των προβατων τον μεγαν εν αιματι διαθηκησ αιωνιου τον κυριον ημων ιησουν (aiōnios )
Make you perfect in all good workes, to doe his will, working in you that which is pleasant in his sight through Iesus Christ, to whom be praise for euer and euer, Amen. (aiōn )
καταρτισαι υμασ εν παντι εργω αγαθω εισ το ποιησαι το θελημα αυτου ποιων εν υμιν το ευαρεστον ενωπιον αυτου δια ιησου χριστου ω η δοξα εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων αμην (aiōn )
And the tongue is fire, yea, a worlde of wickednesse: so is the tongue set among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature, and it is set on fire of hell. (Geenna )
και η γλωσσα πυρ ο κοσμοσ τησ αδικιασ ουτωσ η γλωσσα καθισταται εν τοισ μελεσιν ημων η σπιλουσα ολον το σωμα και φλογιζουσα τον τροχον τησ γενεσεωσ και φλογιζομενη υπο τησ γεεννησ (Geenna )
Being borne anewe, not of mortall seede, but of immortall, by the woorde of God, who liueth and endureth for euer. (aiōn )
αναγεγεννημενοι ουκ εκ σπορασ φθαρτησ αλλα αφθαρτου δια λογου ζωντοσ θεου και μενοντοσ εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
But the worde of the Lord endureth for euer: and this is the woorde which is preached among you. (aiōn )
το δε ρημα κυριου μενει εισ τον αιωνα τουτο δε εστιν το ρημα το ευαγγελισθεν εισ υμασ (aiōn )
If any man speake, let him speake as the wordes of God. If any man minister, let him do it as of the abilitie which God ministreth, that God in al things may be glorified through Iesus Christ, to whome is prayse and dominion for euer, and euer, Amen. (aiōn )

And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you. (aiōnios )
ο δε θεοσ πασησ χαριτοσ ο καλεσασ υμασ εισ την αιωνιον αυτου δοξαν εν χριστω ιησου ολιγον παθοντασ αυτοσ καταρτισαι υμασ στηριξει σθενωσει θεμελιωσει (aiōnios )
To him be glory and dominion for euer and euer, Amen. (aiōn )
αυτω η δοξα και το κρατοσ εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων αμην (aiōn )
For by this meanes an entring shalbe ministred vnto you aboundantly into the euerlasting kingdome of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ. (aiōnios )
ουτωσ γαρ πλουσιωσ επιχορηγηθησεται υμιν η εισοδοσ εισ την αιωνιον βασιλειαν του κυριου ημων και σωτηροσ ιησου χριστου (aiōnios )
For if God spared not the Angels that had sinned, but cast them downe into hell, and deliuered them into chaines of darkenes, to be kept vnto damnation: (Tartaroō )
ει γαρ ο θεοσ αγγελων αμαρτησαντων ουκ εφεισατο αλλα σειραισ ζοφου ταρταρωσασ παρεδωκεν εισ κρισιν τηρουμενουσ (Tartaroō )
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ: to him be glory both now and for euermore. Amen. (aiōn )
αυξανετε δε εν χαριτι και γνωσει του κυριου ημων και σωτηροσ ιησου χριστου αυτω η δοξα και νυν και εισ ημεραν αιωνοσ αμην (aiōn )
(For that life was made manifest, and wee haue seene it, and beare witnes, and shewe vnto you that eternall life, which was with the Father, and was made manifest vnto vs) (aiōnios )
και η ζωη εφανερωθη και εωρακαμεν και μαρτυρουμεν και απαγγελλομεν υμιν την ζωην την αιωνιον ητισ ην προσ τον πατερα και εφανερωθη ημιν (aiōnios )
And this world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth euer. (aiōn )
και ο κοσμοσ παραγεται και η επιθυμια αυτου ο δε ποιων το θελημα του θεου μενει εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
And this is the promise that he hath promised vs, euen that eternall life. (aiōnios )
και αυτη εστιν η επαγγελια ην αυτοσ επηγγειλατο ημιν την ζωην την αιωνιον (aiōnios )
Whosoeuer hateth his brother, is a manslayer: and ye know that no manslayer hath eternall life abiding in him. (aiōnios )
πασ ο μισων τον αδελφον αυτου ανθρωποκτονοσ εστιν και οιδατε οτι πασ ανθρωποκτονοσ ουκ εχει ζωην αιωνιον εν εαυτω μενουσαν (aiōnios )
And this is that record, to wit, that God hath giuen vnto vs eternall life, and this life is in that his Sonne. (aiōnios )
και αυτη εστιν η μαρτυρια οτι ζωην αιωνιον εδωκεν ημιν ο θεοσ και αυτη η ζωη εν τω υιω αυτου εστιν (aiōnios )
These things haue I written vnto you, that beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God, that ye may knowe that ye haue eternall life, and that ye may beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God. (aiōnios )
ταυτα εγραψα υμιν τοισ πιστευουσιν εισ το ονομα του υιου του θεου ινα ειδητε οτι ζωην αιωνιον εχετε και ινα πιστευητε εισ το ονομα του υιου του θεου (aiōnios )
But we know that that Sone of God is come, and hath giue vs a mind to know him, which is true: and we are in him that is true, that is, in that his Sone Iesus Christ: this same is that very God, and that eternal life. (aiōnios )
οιδαμεν δε οτι ο υιοσ του θεου ηκει και δεδωκεν ημιν διανοιαν ινα γινωσκωμεν τον αληθινον και εσμεν εν τω αληθινω εν τω υιω αυτου ιησου χριστω ουτοσ εστιν ο αληθινοσ θεοσ και ζωη αιωνιοσ (aiōnios )
For the trueths sake which dwelleth in vs, and shalbe with vs for euer: (aiōn )
δια την αληθειαν την μενουσαν εν ημιν και μεθ ημων εσται εισ τον αιωνα (aiōn )
The Angels also which kept not their first estate, but left their owne habitation, hee hath reserued in euerlasting chaines vnder darkenesse vnto the iudgement of the great day. (aïdios )
αγγελουσ τε τουσ μη τηρησαντασ την εαυτων αρχην αλλα απολιποντασ το ιδιον οικητηριον εισ κρισιν μεγαλησ ημερασ δεσμοισ αιδιοισ υπο ζοφον τετηρηκεν (aïdios )
As Sodom and Gomorrhe, and the cities about them, which in like maner as they did, committed fornication, and followed strange flesh, are set foorth for an ensample, and suffer the vengeance of eternall fire. (aiōnios )
ωσ σοδομα και γομορρα και αι περι αυτασ πολεισ τον ομοιον τουτοισ τροπον εκπορνευσασαι και απελθουσαι οπισω σαρκοσ ετερασ προκεινται δειγμα πυροσ αιωνιου δικην υπεχουσαι (aiōnios )
They are the raging waues of the sea, foming out their owne shame: they are wandring starres, to whome is reserued the blackenesse of darkenesse for euer. (aiōn )
κυματα αγρια θαλασσησ επαφριζοντα τασ εαυτων αισχυνασ αστερεσ πλανηται οισ ο ζοφοσ του σκοτουσ εισ αιωνα τετηρηται (aiōn )
And keepe your selues in the loue of God, looking for the mercie of our Lord Iesus Christ, vnto eternall life. (aiōnios )
εαυτουσ εν αγαπη θεου τηρησατε προσδεχομενοι το ελεοσ του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου εισ ζωην αιωνιον (aiōnios )
That is, to God only wise, our Sauiour, be glorie, and maiestie, and dominion, and power, both nowe and for euer, Amen. (aiōn )

And made vs Kings and Priests vnto God euen his Father, to him I say be glory, and dominion for euermore, Amen. (aiōn )
και εποιησεν ημασ βασιλειαν ιερεισ τω θεω και πατρι αυτου αυτω η δοξα και το κρατοσ εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων αμην (aiōn )
And am aliue, but I was dead: and beholde, I am aliue for euermore, Amen: and I haue the keyes of hell and of death. (aiōn , Hadēs )

And when those beasts gaue glorie, and honour, and thanks to him that sate on the throne, which liueth for euer and euer, (aiōn )
και οταν δωσιν τα ζωα δοξαν και τιμην και ευχαριστιαν τω καθημενω επι του θρονου τω ζωντι εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων (aiōn )
The foure and twentie Elders fell downe before him that sate on the throne and worshipped him that liueth for euermore, and cast their crownes before the throne, saying, (aiōn )
πεσουνται οι εικοσι τεσσαρεσ πρεσβυτεροι ενωπιον του καθημενου επι του θρονου και προσκυνησουσιν τω ζωντι εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων και βαλουσιν τουσ στεφανουσ αυτων ενωπιον του θρονου λεγοντεσ (aiōn )
And al the creatures which are in heauen, and on the earth, and vnder the earth, and in the sea, and al that are in them, heard I, saying, Praise, and honour, and glory, and power be vnto him, that sitteth vpon the throne, and vnto the Lambe for euermore. (aiōn )
και παν κτισμα ο εν τω ουρανω και επι τησ γησ και υποκατω τησ γησ και επι τησ θαλασσησ εστιν και τα εν αυτοισ παντασ ηκουσα λεγοντασ τω καθημενω επι του θρονου και τω αρνιω η ευλογια και η τιμη και η δοξα και το κρατοσ εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων αμην (aiōn )
And I looked, and beholde, a pale horse, and his name that sate on him was Death, and Hell folowed after him, and power was giuen vnto them ouer the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sworde, and with hunger, and with death, and with beasts of the earth. (Hadēs )
και ιδου ιπποσ χλωροσ και ο καθημενοσ επανω αυτου ονομα αυτω ο θανατοσ και ο αδησ ηκολουθει αυτω και εδοθη αυτω εξουσια επι το τεταρτον τησ γησ αποκτειναι εν ρομφαια και εν λιμω και εν θανατω και υπο των θηριων τησ γησ (Hadēs )
Saying, Amen. Praise, and glorie, and wisdom, and thankes, and honour, and power, and might bee vnto our God for euermore, Amen. (aiōn )

And the fifth Angel blew the trumpet, and I saw a starre fall from heauen vnto the earth, and to him was giuen the key of the bottomlesse pit. (Abyssos )
και ο πεμπτοσ αγγελοσ εσαλπισεν και ειδον αστερα εκ του ουρανου πεπτωκοτα εισ την γην και εδοθη αυτω η κλεισ του φρεατοσ τησ αβυσσου (Abyssos )
And he opened the bottomlesse pit, and there arose the smoke of the pit, as the smoke of a great fornace, and the sunne, and the ayre were darkened by the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos )
και ηνοιξεν το φρεαρ τησ αβυσσου και ανεβη καπνοσ εκ του φρεατοσ ωσ καπνοσ καμινου καιομενησ και εσκοτισθη ο ηλιοσ και ο αηρ εκ του καπνου του φρεατοσ (Abyssos )
And they haue a King ouer them, which is the Angel of the bottomlesse pit, whose name in Hebrewe is Abaddon, and in Greeke he is named Apollyon, that is, destroying. (Abyssos )
εχουσαι βασιλεα επ αυτων αγγελον τησ αβυσσου ονομα αυτω εβραιστι αββαδων εν δε τη ελληνικη ονομα εχει απολλυων (Abyssos )
And sware by him that liueth for euermore, which created heauen, and the thinges that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the thinges that therein are, that time should be no more. (aiōn )
και ωμοσεν τω ζωντι εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων οσ εκτισεν τον ουρανον και τα εν αυτω και την γην και τα εν αυτη και την θαλασσαν και τα εν αυτη οτι χρονοσ ουκετι εσται (aiōn )
And when they haue finished their testimonie, the beast that commeth out of the bottomlesse pit, shall make warre against them, and shall ouercome them, and kill them. (Abyssos )
και οταν τελεσωσιν την μαρτυριαν αυτων το θηριον το αναβαινον εκ τησ αβυσσου ποιησει μετ αυτων πολεμον και νικησει αυτουσ και αποκτενει αυτουσ (Abyssos )
And the seuenth Angell blewe the trumpet, and there were great voyces in heauen, saying, The kingdomes of this worlde are our Lordes, and his Christes, and he shall reigne for euermore. (aiōn )
και ο εβδομοσ αγγελοσ εσαλπισεν και εγενοντο φωναι μεγαλαι εν τω ουρανω λεγουσαι εγενετο η βασιλεια του κοσμου του κυριου ημων και του χριστου αυτου και βασιλευσει εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων (aiōn )
Then I sawe another Angel flie in the mids of heauen, hauing an euerlasting Gospel, to preach vnto them that dwell on the earth, and to euery nation, and kinred, and tongue, and people, (aiōnios )
και ειδον αγγελον πετομενον εν μεσουρανηματι εχοντα ευαγγελιον αιωνιον ευαγγελισαι τουσ καθημενουσ επι τησ γησ και επι παν εθνοσ και φυλην και γλωσσαν και λαον (aiōnios )
And the smoke of their torment shall ascend euermore: and they shall haue no rest day nor night, which worship the beast and his image, and whosoeuer receiueth the print of his name. (aiōn )
και ο καπνοσ του βασανισμου αυτων εισ αιωνασ αιωνων αναβαινει και ουκ εχουσιν αναπαυσιν ημερασ και νυκτοσ οι προσκυνουντεσ το θηριον και την εικονα αυτου και ει τισ λαμβανει το χαραγμα του ονοματοσ αυτου (aiōn )
And one of the foure beastes gaue vnto the seuen Angels seuen golden vials full of the wrath of God, which liueth for euermore. (aiōn )
και εν εκ των τεσσαρων ζωων εδωκεν τοισ επτα αγγελοισ επτα φιαλασ χρυσασ γεμουσασ του θυμου του θεου του ζωντοσ εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων (aiōn )
The beast that thou hast seene, was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomles pit, and shall goe into perdition, and they that dwell on the earth, shall wonder (whose names are not written in the booke of life from the foundation of ye world) when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. (Abyssos )
το θηριον ο ειδεσ ην και ουκ εστιν και μελλει αναβαινειν εκ τησ αβυσσου και εισ απωλειαν υπαγειν και θαυμασονται οι κατοικουντεσ επι τησ γησ ων ου γεγραπται τα ονοματα επι το βιβλιον τησ ζωησ απο καταβολησ κοσμου βλεποντων οτι ην το θηριον και ουκ εστιν και παρεσται (Abyssos )
And againe they saide, Hallelu-iah: and that her smoke rose vp for euermore. (aiōn )
και δευτερον ειρηκεν αλληλουια και ο καπνοσ αυτησ αναβαινει εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων (aiōn )
But ye beast was taken, and with him that false prophet that wrought miracles before him, whereby he deceiued them that receiued ye beastes marke, and them that worshipped his image. These both were aliue cast into a lake of fire, burning with brimstone. (Limnē Pyr )
και επιασθη το θηριον και ο μετ αυτου ψευδοπροφητησ ο ποιησασ τα σημεια ενωπιον αυτου εν οισ επλανησεν τουσ λαβοντασ το χαραγμα του θηριου και τουσ προσκυνουντασ τη εικονι αυτου ζωντεσ εβληθησαν οι δυο εισ την λιμνην του πυροσ την καιομενην εν θειω (Limnē Pyr )
And I saw an Angel come downe from heauen, hauing the keye of the bottomles pit, and a great chaine in his hand. (Abyssos )
και ειδον αγγελον καταβαινοντα εκ του ουρανου εχοντα την κλειν τησ αβυσσου και αλυσιν μεγαλην επι την χειρα αυτου (Abyssos )
And cast him into the bottomles pit, and he shut him vp, and sealed the doore vpon him, that he should deceiue the people no more, till the thousand yeeres were fulfilled: for after that he must be loosed for a litle season. (Abyssos )
και εβαλεν αυτον εισ την αβυσσον και εκλεισεν και εσφραγισεν επανω αυτου ινα μη πλανα ετι τα εθνη αχρι τελεσθη τα χιλια ετη και μετα ταυτα δει αυτον λυθηναι μικρον χρονον (Abyssos )
And the deuill that deceiued them, was cast into a lake of fire and brimstone, where that beast and that false prophet are, and shall be tormented euen day and night for euermore. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
και ο διαβολοσ ο πλανων αυτουσ εβληθη εισ την λιμνην του πυροσ και θειου οπου και το θηριον και ο ψευδοπροφητησ και βασανισθησονται ημερασ και νυκτοσ εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
And the sea gaue vp her dead, which were in her, and death and hell deliuered vp the dead, which were in them: and they were iudged euery man according to their woorkes. (Hadēs )
και εδωκεν η θαλασσα τουσ νεκρουσ τουσ εν αυτη και ο θανατοσ και ο αδησ εδωκαν τουσ νεκρουσ τουσ εν αυτοισ και εκριθησαν εκαστοσ κατα τα εργα αυτων (Hadēs )
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire: this is the second death. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )

But the fearful and vnbeleeuing, and the abominable and murtherers, and whoremogers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall haue their part in the lake, which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Limnē Pyr )

And there shalbe no night there, and they neede no candle, neither light of the sunne: for the Lord God giueth them light, and they shall reigne for euermore. (aiōn )
και νυξ ουκ εσται εκει και χρειαν ουκ εχουσιν λυχνου και φωτοσ ηλιου οτι κυριοσ ο θεοσ φωτιει αυτουσ και βασιλευσουσιν εισ τουσ αιωνασ των αιωνων (aiōn )
These are welles without water, and cloudes caried about with a tempest, to whome the blacke darkenes is reserued for euer. ()
