Nehemiah 1
1 The words of Nehemiah the sonne of Hachaliah. In ye moneth Chisleu, in the twentieth yeere, as I was in the palace of Shushan,
Dagiti sasao ni Nehemias a putot ni Hacalias: Ita, napasamak nga iti bulan ti Kislev, iti maika-duapulo a tawen, bayat nga addaak iti nasarekedkedan a siudad ti Susa,
2 Came Hanam, one of my brethren, he and the men of Iudah, and I asked them concerning the Iewes that were deliuered, which were of the residue of the captiuitie, and concerning Ierusalem.
ket immay ti maysa kadagiti kabsatko a lallaki a ni Hanani, a kaduana dagiti sumagmamano a tattao ti Juda, ket sinaludsodko kadakuada ti maipanggep kadagiti Judio a nakalibas, dagiti nabatbati a Judio nga adda sadiay, ken maipanggep iti Jerusalem.
3 And they sayde vnto me, The residue that are left of the captiuitie there in the prouince, are in great affliction and in reproche, and the wall of Ierusalem is broken downe, and the gates thereof are burnt with fire.
Kinunada kaniak, “Dagiti adda iti probinsia a nakalasat iti pannakaibalud ket kasta unay ti panagsagaba ken pannakaibabainda gapu ta narba ti pader ti Jerusalem, ken napuoran dagiti ruangan daytoy.”
4 And when I heard these wordes, I sate downe and wept, and mourned certeine dayes, and I fasted and prayed before the God of heauen,
Ket apaman a nangngegko dagitoy a sasao, nagtugawak ket nagsangitak, adu nga aldaw a nagladladingitak, nagay-ayunar ken nagkarkararagak iti sangoanan ti Dios ti langit.
5 And sayde, O Lord God of heauen, the great and terrible God, that keepeth couenant and mercy for them that loue him, and obserue his commandements,
Kinunak, “O Yahweh, sika ti Dios ti langit, ti Dios a naindaklan ken nakakaskasdaaw, a napudno iti katulaganna ken kinamanangngaasina kadagiti mangipatpateg kenkuana ken mangtungtungpal kadagiti bilinna.
6 I pray thee, let thine eares be attet, and thine eies open, to heare the praier of thy seruat, which I pray before thee dayly, day and night for ye childre of Israel thy seruats, and confesse the sinnes of the children of Israel, which we haue sinned against thee, both I and my fathers house haue sinned:
Denggem ti kararagko ken lukatam dagiti matam tapno mangngegmo ti kararag ti adipenmo nga ikararagko ita iti sangoanam iti aldaw ken rabii para kadagiti tattao ti Israel nga adipenmo. Ak-aklonek dagiti basol dagiti tattao ti Israel, a nagbasolanmi kenka. Nagbasolak ken ti balay ti amak.
7 We haue grieuously sinned against thee, and haue not kept the commandements, nor the statutes, nor the iudgements, which thou commandedst thy seruant Moses.
Nagtignaykami a sidadangkes kenka, ken saanmi a tinungpal dagiti bilin, dagiti alagaden ken dagiti paglintegan nga imbilinmo kenni Moises nga adipenmo.
8 I beseeche thee, remember the worde that thou commandedst thy seruant Moses, saying, Ye wil transgresse, and I will scatter you abroade among the people.
Lagipem ti sao nga imbilinmo kenni Moises nga adipenmo, 'No agbalinkayo a saan a napudno, iwaraskayonto kadagiti nasion,
9 But if ye turne vnto me, and keepe my commandements, and doe them, though your scattering were to the vttermost part of the heauen, yet will I gather you from thence, and will bring you vnto the place that I haue chosen to place my Name there.
ngem no agsublikayo kaniak ken surotenyo dagiti bilbilinko ken aramidenyo dagitoy, uray no naiwaras dagiti tattaoyo agingga iti kaadaywan a lugar, ummongekto ida manipud sadiay ket ipankonto ida iti dayta a lugar a pinilik a pagtalinaedan ti naganko.'
10 Now these are thy seruants and thy people, whome thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy mightie hand.
Ita, isuda dagiti adipenmo ken tattaom nga insalakanmo babaen iti naindaklan a pannakabalinmo ken iti bileg ti imam.
11 O Lord, I beseech thee, let thine eare now hearken to the prayer of thy seruant, and to the prayer of thy seruants, who desire to feare thy Name, and I pray thee, cause thy seruant to prosper this day, and giue him fauour in the presence of this man: for I was the Kings butler.
O Yahweh, agpakpakaasiak kenka, denggem ita ti kararag ti adipenmo, ken iti kararag dagiti adipenmo a naragsak nga agdayaw iti naganmo. Pagballigiem ti adipenmo ita nga aldaw ken ipaayam isuna ti asi iti imatang daytoy a tao.” Agserserbiak idi a kas mangimatmaton ti pannakaidasar iti arak ti ari.
