Mark 11
1 And when they came neere to Hierusalem, to Bethphage and Bethania vnto the mount of Oliues, he sent forth two of his disciples,
Comme ils approchaient de Jérusalem et de Béthanie, près du mont des Oliviers, il envoya deux de ses disciples,
2 And sayd vnto them, Goe your wayes into that towne that is ouer against you, and assoone as ye shall enter into it, ye shall finde a colte tied, whereon neuer man sate: loose him, and bring him.
Et il leur dit: Allez à ce village qui est devant vous; et dès que vous y serez entrés, vous trouverez un ânon lié, sur lequel aucun homme ne s’est encore assis; déliez-le, et me l’amenez.
3 And if any man say vnto you, Why doe ye this? Say that the Lord hath neede of him, and straightway he will send him hither.
Et si quelqu’un vous demande: Que faites-vous? dites que le Seigneur en a besoin, et aussitôt il le laissera amener ici.
4 And they went their way, and found a colt tyed by the doore without, in a place where two wayes met, and they loosed him.
S’en étant donc allés, ils trouvèrent l’ânon lié dehors, devant la porte entre deux chemins, et ils le délièrent.
5 Then certaine of them, that stoode there, sayd vnto them, What doe ye loosing the colt?
Et quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient-là leur disaient: Que faites-vous, déliant cet ânon?
6 And they sayde vnto them, as Iesus had commanded them: So they let them goe.
Ils leur répondirent comme Jésus le leur avait commandé, et on le leur laissa.
7 And they brought the colte to Iesus, and cast their garments on him, and he sate vpon him.
Et ils amenèrent l’ânon à Jésus, et ils le couvrirent de leurs vêtements, et il monta dessus.
8 And many spred their garments in the way: other cut downe branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
Beaucoup de personnes aussi étendirent leurs vêtements le long de la route; d’autres coupaient des branches d’arbres, et en jonchaient le chemin.
9 And they that went before, and they that folowed, cryed, saying, Hosanna: blessed be hee that commeth in the Name of the Lord.
Et ceux qui marchaient devant, et ceux qui suivaient criaient, disant: Hosanna!
10 Blessed be the kingdome that commeth in the Name of the Lord of our father Dauid: Hosanna, O thou which art in the highest heauens.
Béni celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur; béni le règne qui arrive de notre père David; hosanna au plus haut des cieux!
11 So Iesus entred into Hierusalem, and into the Temple: and when he had looked about on all things, and now it was euening, he went forth vnto Bethania with the twelue.
Et il entra à Jérusalem, dans le temple, et après avoir regardé toutes choses, comme l’heure était déjà fort avancée, il se retira à Béthanie avec les douze.
12 And on the morowe when they were come out from Bethania, he was hungry.
Le lendemain, comme ils sortaient de Béthanie, il eut faim.
13 And seeing a fig tree afarre off, that had leaues, he went to see if he might finde any thing thereon: but when he came vnto it, hee found nothing but leaues: for the time of figges was not yet.
Or, voyant de loin un figuier qui avait des feuilles, il vint pour voir s’il y trouverait quelque fruit. Mais, lorsqu’il s’en fut approché, il n’y trouva que des feuilles, car ce n’était pas le temps des figues.
14 Then Iesus answered, and sayd to it, Neuer man eate fruite of thee hereafter while the world standeth: and his disciples heard it. (aiōn g165)
Alors prenant la parole, il lui dit: Que jamais personne ne mange plus de fruit de toi! Et ses disciples l’entendaient. (aiōn g165)
15 And they came to Hierusalem, and Iesus went into the Temple, and began to cast out them that solde and bought in the Temple, and ouerthrewe the tables of the money changers, and the seates of them that solde doues.
Ils vinrent ensuite à Jérusalem. Or étant entré dans le temple, il commença à chasser ceux qui vendaient et achetaient dans le temple; il renversa même les tables des changeurs et les sièges de ceux qui vendaient des colombes.
16 Neither would hee suffer that any man should cary a vessell through the Temple.
Et il ne souffrait pas que personne transportât d’objet par le temple.
17 And he taught, saying vnto them, Is it not written, Mine house shalbe called the house of prayer vnto all nations? but you haue made it a denne of theeues.
Il enseignait aussi, leur disant: N’est-il pas écrit: Ma maison sera appelée maison de prière pour toutes les nations? Et vous, vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs.
18 And the Scribes and hie Priestes heard it, and sought howe to destroy him: for they feared him, because the whole multitude was astonied at his doctrine.
Ce qu’ayant entendu, les princes des prêtres et les scribes cherchaient comment ils le perdraient; car ils le craignaient, parce que tout le peuple était dans l’admiration de sa doctrine.
19 But when euen was come, Iesus went out of the citie.
Lorsque le soir était venu, il sortait de la ville.
20 And in the morning as they iourneyed together, they saw the figge tree dried vp from the rootes.
Et comme le lendemain matin ils passaient, ils virent le figuier desséché jusqu’à la racine.
21 Then Peter remembred, and said vnto him, Master, beholde, the figge tree which thou cursedst, is withered.
Alors Pierre se ressouvenant, lui dit: Maître, voilà que le figuier que vous avez maudit a séché.
22 And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Haue the faith of God.
Et Jésus répondant, leur dit: Ayez foi en Dieu.
23 For verely I say vnto you, that whosoeuer shall say vnto this mountaine, Be thou taken away, and cast into the sea, and shall not wauer in his heart, but shall beleeue that those things which he saieth, shall come to passe, whatsoeuer he saieth, shall be done to him.
En vérité, je vous dis que quiconque dira à cette montagne: Lève-toi, et jette-toi dans la mer, et n’hésitera point dans son cœur, mais croira que tout ce qu’il aura dit se doit faire, il lui sera réellement fait.
24 Therefore I say vnto you, Whatsoeuer ye desire when ye pray, beleeue that ye shall haue it, and it shalbe done vnto you.
C’est pourquoi je vous le dis: Tout ce que vous demanderez dans la prière, croyez que vous l’obtiendrez, et il vous arrivera.
25 But when ye shall stand, and pray, forgiue, if ye haue any thing against any man, that your Father also which is in heauen, may forgiue you your trespasses.
Et quand vous serez pour prier, pardonnez, si vous avez quelque chose contre quelqu’un, afin que votre Père, qui est dans les cieux, vous pardonne aussi vos péchés.
26 For if you will not forgiue, your Father which is in heauen, will not pardon you your trespasses.
Car si vous ne pardonnez point vous-mêmes, votre Père qui est dans les cieux ne vous pardonnera point non plus vos péchés.
27 Then they came againe to Hierusalem: and as he walked in the Temple, there came to him ye hie Priestes, and the Scribes, and the Elders,
Ils vinrent de nouveau à Jérusalem; et comme il se promenait dans le temple, les princes des prêtres, les scribes et les anciens s’approchèrent de lui,
28 And said vnto him, By what authoritie doest thou these things? and who gaue thee this authoritie, that thou shouldest doe these things?
Et lui dirent: Par quelle autorité faites-vous ces choses, et qui vous a donné ce pouvoir de les faire?
29 Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, I will also aske of you a certaine thing, and answere ye me, and I will tell you by what authoritie I do these things.
Jésus, répondant, leur dit: Je vous ferai, moi aussi, une demande; répondez-moi, et je vous dirai par quelle autorité je fais ces choses.
30 The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men? answere me.
Le baptême de Jean était-il du ciel ou des hommes? Répondez-moi.
31 And they thought with themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then did ye not beleeue him?
Mais eux pensaient en eux-mêmes, disant: Si nous répondons: Du ciel, il dira: Pourquoi donc n’y avez-vous pas cru?
32 But if we say, Of men, we feare the people: for all men counted Iohn, that he was a Prophet in deede.
Si nous répondons: Des hommes, nous avons à craindre le peuple; car tous croyaient que Jean était vraiment prophète.
33 Then they answered, and saide vnto Iesus, We cannot tell. And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Neither will I tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.
Répondant donc, ils dirent à Jésus: Nous ne savons. Et répliquant, Jésus leur dit: Ni moi non plus, je ne vous dis par quelle autorité je fais ces choses.
