Luke 3
1 Nowe in the fifteenth yeere of the reigne of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being gouernour of Iudea, and Herod being Tetrarch of Galile, and his brother Philip Tetrarch of Iturea, and of the countrey of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the Tetrarch of Abilene,
A shekara ta goma sha biyar ta mulkin Kaisar Tiberiyus, a lokacin Buntus Bilatus ne gwamnar Yahudiya, Hiridus kuma yana sarautar Galili, ɗan’uwansa Filibus yana sarautar Ituriya da Tarakunitis, Lisaniyas kuma yana sarautar Abiline.
2 (When Annas and Caiaphas were the hie Priestes) the worde of God came vnto Iohn, the sonne of Zacharias in the wildernes.
A lokacin ne Annas da Kayifas suke manyan firistoci. Sai maganar Allah ta zo wa Yohanna, ɗan Zakariya a hamada.
3 And hee came into all the coastes about Iordan, preaching the baptisme of repentance for the remission of sinnes,
Ya zaga dukan ƙasar da take kewaye da Urdun, yana wa’azin baftismar tuba don gafarar zunubai.
4 As it is written in the booke of the sayings of Esaias the Prophet, which saith, The voyce of him that crieth in the wildernes is, Prepare ye the way of the Lord: make his paths straight.
Kamar yadda yake a rubuce a littafin annabi Ishaya. “Muryar mai kira a hamada, ‘Ku shirya wa Ubangiji hanya, ku miƙe hanyoyi dominsa.
5 Euery valley shalbe filled, and euery mountaine and hill shall be brought lowe, and crooked things shalbe made straight, and the rough wayes shalbe made smoothe.
Za a cike kowane kwari, a farfashe kowane dutse da kowane tudu. Za a miƙe hanyoyin da suka karkace, a gyaggyara hanyoyi masu gargaɗa su zama sumul.
6 And all flesh shall see the saluation of God.
Dukan’yan Adam kuwa za su ga ceton Allah!’”
7 Then said he to the people that were come out to be baptized of him, O generations of vipers, who hath forewarned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Yohanna ya ce wa taron da suke zuwa domin yă yi musu baftisma, “Ku macizai! Wa ya gargaɗe ku, ku guje wa fushin nan mai zuwa?
8 Bring foorth therefore fruites worthy amendment of life, and beginne not to say with your selues, We haue Abraham to our father: for I say vnto you, that God is able of these stones to raise vp children vnto Abraham.
Ku yi ayyukan da suka dace da tuba. Kada ma ku yi tunani za ku iya ce wa kanku, ‘Ai, muna da mahaifinmu Ibrahim.’ Ina gaya muku cewa daga cikin duwatsun nan Allah zai iya tā da’ya’ya wa Ibrahim.
9 Nowe also is the axe layed vnto the roote of the trees: therefore euery tree which bringeth not foorth good fruite, shalbe hewen downe, and cast into the fire.
An riga an sa bakin gatari a gindin itatuwa, kuma duk itacen da bai ba da’ya’ya masu kyau ba, za a sare shi a jefa cikin wuta.”
10 Then the people asked him, saying, What shall we doe then?
Sai taron suka tambaye shi, suka ce “Me za mu yi ke nan?”
11 And he answered, and said vnto them, He that hath two coates, let him part with him that hath none: and hee that hath meate, let him doe likewise.
Ya amsa ya ce, “Ya kamata, mutumin da yake da riguna biyu, yă raba da wanda ba shi da riga, mai abinci kuma yă yi haka.”
12 Then came there Publicanes also to bee baptized, and saide vnto him, Master, what shall we doe?
Masu karɓar haraji ma suka zo, domin a yi musu baftisma. Suka yi tambaya, suka ce “Malam, me ya kamata mu yi?”
13 And hee saide vnto them, Require no more then that which is appointed vnto you.
Ya ce musu, “Kada ku karɓa fiye da abin da aka ce a karɓa.”
14 The souldiers likewise demaunded of him, saying, And what shall we doe? And he saide vnto them, Doe violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely, and be content with your wages.
Sai waɗansu sojoji suka tambaye shi, “Mu fa? Me ya kamata mu yi?” Sai ya amsa ya ce, “Kada ku ƙwace kuɗin mutane, kada kuma ku yi shaidar ƙarya. Ku yi haƙuri da abin da ake biyanku.”
15 As the people waited, and all men mused in their heartes of Iohn, if he were not that Christ,
Mutane suka zuba ido, suna kuma tunani a zuciyarsu, ko Yohanna ne Kiristi wanda ake sauraron zuwansa.
16 Iohn answered, and saide to them all, In deede I baptize you with water, but one stronger then I, commeth, whose shoes latchet I am not worthy to vnloose: hee will baptize you with the holy Ghost, and with fire.
Yohanna ya amsa musu duka ya ce, “Ina muku baftisma da ruwa. Amma wani wanda ya fi ni iko yana zuwa, ban ma isa in kunce igiyar takalmansa ba. Shi zai yi muku baftisma da Ruhu Mai Tsarki da wuta kuma.
17 Whose fanne is in his hande, and hee will make cleane his floore, and will gather the wheate into his garner, but the chaffe will hee burne vp with fire that neuer shalbe quenched.
Matankaɗinsa yana a hannunsa don yă tankaɗe sussukarsa ya kuma tattara alkama cikin rumbunsa, amma zai ƙone yayin da wutar da ba a iya kashewa.”
18 Thus then exhorting with many other things, he preached vnto the people.
Da kalmomi masu yawa Yohanna ya yi wa mutane gargaɗi, ya kuma yi musu wa’azin bishara.
19 But when Herod the Tetrarch was rebuked of him, for Herodias his brother Philips wife, and for all the euils which Herod had done,
Amma da Yohanna ya tsawata wa Hiridus mai mulki saboda Hiridiyas, matar ɗan’uwansa, da kuma dukan sauran mugayen abubuwan da ya yi,
20 He added yet this aboue all, that he shut vp Iohn in prison.
Hiridus dai ya ƙara ɓata al’amarin. Ya sa a kulle Yohanna a kurkuku.
21 Nowe it came to passe, as all the people were baptized, and that Iesus was baptized and did pray, that the heauen was opened:
Sa’ad da ake wa dukan mutane baftisma, sai aka yi wa Yesu shi ma. Da yana cikin addu’a, sai sama ya buɗe,
22 And the holy Ghost came downe in a bodily shape like a doue, vpon him, and there was a voyce from heauen, saying, Thou art my beloued Sonne: in thee I am well pleased.
Ruhu Mai Tsarki kuma ya sauko masa a wata siffa, kamar kurciya. Sai murya ta fito daga sama, ta ce, “Kai ne Ɗana, wanda nake ƙauna, kai ne kuma kana faranta mini zuciya ƙwarai.”
23 And Iesus himselfe began to bee about thirtie yeere of age, being as men supposed the sonne of Ioseph, which was the sonne of Eli,
To, Yesu kansa yana da shekaru kusan talatin da haihuwa sa’ad da ya fara aikinsa. An ɗauka shi ɗan Yusuf ne, ɗan Heli,
24 The sonne of Matthat, the sonne of Leui, the sonne of Melchi, the sonne of Ianna, the sonne of Ioseph,
ɗan Mattat, ɗan Lawi, ɗan Melki, ɗan Yannai, ɗan Yusuf,
25 The sonne of Mattathias, the sonne of Amos, the sonne of Naum, the sonne of Esli, the sonne of Nagge,
ɗan Mattatiyas, ɗan Amos, ɗan Nahum, ɗan Esli, ɗan Naggai,
26 The sonne of Maath, the sonne of Mattathias, the sonne of Semei, the sonne of Ioseph, the sonne of Iuda,
ɗan Ma’at, ɗan Mattatiyas, ɗan Semeyin, ɗan Yosek, ɗan Yoda,
27 The sonne of Ioanna, the sonne of Rhesa, the sonne of Zorobabel, the sonne of Salathiel, the sonne of Neri,
ɗan Yowanan, ɗan Resa, ɗan Zerubbabel, ɗan Sheyaltiyel, ɗan Neri,
28 The sonne of Melchi, the sonne of Addi, the sonne of Cosam, the sonne of Elmodam, the sonne of Er,
ɗan Melki, ɗan Addi, ɗan Kosam, ɗan Elmadam, ɗan Er,
29 The sonne of Iose, the sonne of Eliezer, the sonne of Iorim, the sonne of Matthat, the son of Leui,
ɗan Yoshuwa, ɗan Eliyezer, ɗan Yorim, ɗan Mattat, ɗan Lawi,
30 The sonne of Simeon, the sonne of Iuda, the sonne of Ioseph, the sonne of Ionan, the sonne of Eliacim,
ɗan Simeyon, ɗan Yahuda, ɗan Yusuf, ɗan Yonam, ɗan Eliyakim,
31 The sonne of Melea, the sonne of Mainan, the sonne of Mattatha, the sonne of Nathan, the sonne of Dauid,
ɗan Meleya, ɗan Menna, ɗan Mattata, ɗan Natan, ɗan Dawuda,
32 The sonne of Iesse, the sonne of Obed, the sonne of Booz, the sonne of Salmon, the sonne of Naasson,
ɗan Yesse, ɗan Obed, ɗan Bowaz, ɗan Salmon, ɗan Nashon,

38 The sonne of Enos, the sonne of Seth, the sonne of Adam, the sonne of God.
