Leviticus 17
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Og Herren talede til Mose og sagde:
2 Speake vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes, and to all the children of Israel, and say vnto them, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, saying,
Tal til Aron og til hans Sønner og til alle Israels Børn, og du skal sige til dem: Dette er det Ord, som Herren har befalet og sagt:
3 Whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel that killeth a bullocke, or lambe, or goate in the hoste, or that killeth it out of the hoste,
Hvo som helst af Israels Hus, der slagter en Okse eller et Lam eller en Ged i Lejren, eller der slagter den uden for Lejren
4 And bringeth it not vnto the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer an offring vnto the Lord before the Tabernacle of the Lord, blood shalbe imputed vnto that man: he hath shed blood, wherefore that man shall be cut off from among his people.
og ikke fører den frem for Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør, til at ofre Offer for Herren, foran Herrens Tabernakel, den Mand skal Blodskyld tilregnes, han udøste Blod, og den Mand skal udryddes midt ud af sit Folk;
5 Therefore the children of Israel shall bring their offrings, which they would offer abroad in the fielde, and present the vnto ye Lord at the doore of the Tabernacle of ye Congregation by ye Priest, and offer them for peace offrings vnto the Lord.
paa det at Israels Børn skulle fremføre deres Slagtofre, som de pleje at slagte paa fri Mark; og de skulle føre dem frem for Herren til Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør, til Præsten, og de skulle slagte dem for Herren til Takofre.
6 Then the Priest shall sprinkle the blood vpon the Altar of the Lord before the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and burne the fat for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.
Og Præsten skal stænke Blodet paa Herrens Alter, for Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør, og han skal gøre et Røgoffer af Fedtet til en sød Lugt for Herren.
7 And they shall no more offer their offerings vnto deuils, after whom they haue gone a whoring: this shalbe an ordinance for euer vnto them in their generations.
Og de skulle ikke ydermere ofre deres Ofre til Skovtrolde, som de bole med; dette skal være dem en evig Skik hos deres Efterkommere.
8 Also thou shalt say vnto them, whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which soiourne among them, that offreth a burnt offring or sacrifice,
Og du skal sige til dem: Hvo som helst af Israels Hus eller af fremmede, som opholder sig midt iblandt eder, der ofrer Brændoffer eller Slagtoffer,
9 And bringeth it not vnto ye doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer it vnto the Lord, euen that man shall be cut off from his people.
og ikke fører det frem til Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør at lave det for Herren, den Mand skal udryddes fra sit Folk.
10 Likewise whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that soiourne among them, that eateth any blood, I will euen set my face against that person that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
Og hvo som helst af Israels Hus eller af fremmede, som opholder sig midt iblandt dem, der æder noget Blod, imod den Person, som æder Blodet, vil jeg sætte mit Ansigt og udrydde ham af sit Folks Midte.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I haue giuen it vnto you to offer vpon the altar, to make an atonement for your soules: for this blood shall make an atonement for the soule.
Thi Kødets Sjæl er i Blodet, og jeg har givet eder det paa Alteret, til at gøre Forligelse for eders Sjæle; thi Blodet er det, som skal gøre Forligelse ved Sjælen.
12 Therefore I saide vnto ye children of Israel, None of you shall eate blood: neither the stranger that soiourneth among you, shall eate blood.
Derfor har jeg sagt til Israels Børn: Ingen af eder maa æde Blod, og den fremmede, som opholder sig midt iblandt eder, maa heller ikke æde Blod.
13 Moreouer whosoeuer he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that soiourne among the, which by hunting taketh any beast or foule that may be eaten, he shall powre out the blood thereof, and couer it with dust:
Og hvo som helst af Israels Børn og af fremmede, som opholder sig midt iblandt dem, der fanger paa Jagt et vildt Dyr eller en Fugl, som maa ædes, han skal udøse Blodet deraf og skjule det med Støv.
14 For ye life of all flesh is his blood, it is ioyned with his life: therefore I sayd vnto the children of Israel, Ye shall eate the blood of no flesh: for the life of al flesh is the blood thereof: whosoeuer eateth it, shalbe cut off.
Thi hvad alt Køds Sjæl angaar, saa regnes dets Blod for dets Sjæl, og jeg har sagt til Israels Børn: I skulle ikke æde noget Køds Blod, thi alt Køds Sjæl er dets Blod; hver den, som æder det, skal udryddes.
15 And euery person that eateth it which dyeth alone, or that which is torne with beastes, whether it be one of the same countrey or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and wash himselfe in water, and be vncleane vnto the euen: after he shalbe cleane.
Og hver Person, indfødt eller fremmed, der æder et Aadsel eller det, som er sønderrevet, skal to sine Klæder og bade sig i Vand og blive uren indtil Aftenen, saa er han ren.
16 But if he wash them not, nor wash his flesh, then he shall beare his iniquitie.
Og dersom han ikke tor sig og ikke bader sit Legeme, da skal han bære sin Misgerning.
