Leviticus 16
1 Fvrthermore the Lord spake vnto Moses, after the death of the two sonnes of Aaron, whe they came to offer before the Lord, and dyed:
Después de la muerte de los dos hijos de Aarón, cuando se presentaron delante de Yavé y murieron, Yavé habló a Moisés.
2 And the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Speake vnto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the Holy place within the vayle, before the Merciseate, which is vpon the Arke, that he dye not: for I wil appeare in the cloude vpon the Merciseate.
Dí a tu hermano Aarón que no en todo tiempo entre en el Santuario detrás del velo, delante del Propiciatorio que está sobre el Arca, no sea que muera, porque Yo me manifiesto en la nube sobre el Propiciatorio.
3 After this sort shall Aaron come into the Holy place: euen with a yong bullocke for a sinne offring, and a ramme for a burnt offring.
Aarón entrará en el Santuario con un becerro para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el holocausto.
4 He shall put on the holy linnen coate, and shall haue linnen breeches vpon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linnen girdle, and shall couer his head with a linnen miter: these are the holy garments: therefore shall hee wash his flesh in water, when he doeth put them on.
Vestirá una túnica sagrada de lino y cubrirá su cuerpo con calzoncillos de lino. Estará atado con un cinturón de lino y usará un turbante de lino. Estas son vestiduras sagradas. Lavará su cuerpo con agua y después se vestirá con ellas.
5 And hee shall take of the Congregation of the children of Israel, two hee goates for a sinne offring, and a ramme for a burnt offring.
Tomará dos machos cabríos de la congregación de los hijos de Israel para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el holocausto.
6 Then Aaron shall offer the bullocke for his sinne offring, and make an atonement for himselfe, and for his house.
Aarón mandará traer el becerro del sacrificio que apacigua y ofrecerá el sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo y por su casa.
7 And he shall take the two hee goates, and present them before the Lord at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
Después tomará los dos machos cabríos y los presentará delante de Yavé en la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión.
8 Then Aaron shall cast lots ouer the two hee goates: one lot for the Lord, and the other for the Scape goate.
Aarón echará suertes sobre los dos machos cabríos, una suerte por Yavé y la otra suerte por Azazel.
9 And Aaron shall offer the goat, vpon which the Lords lot shall fal, and make him a sinne offring.
Luego Aarón presentará el macho cabrío sobre el cual cayó la suerte por Yavé y lo ofrecerá en sacrificio por el pecado.
10 But the goate, on which the lot shall fall to be the Scape goate, shalbe presented aliue before the Lord, to make reconciliation by him, and to let him go (as a Scape goate) into the wildernes.
Pero el macho cabrío sobre el cual cayó la suerte por Azazel será presentado vivo ante Yavé para hacer ofrenda que apacigua sobre él, a fin de enviarlo a Azazel, al desierto.
11 Thus Aaron shall offer the bullocke for his sinne offring, and make a reconciliation for himselfe, and for his house, and shall kill the bullocke for his sinne offring.
Entonces Aarón traerá su becerro destinado al sacrificio que apacigua, lo degollará como sacrificio por el pecado, y hará sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo y por su casa.
12 And he shall take a censer full of burning coles from off the altar before the Lord, and his handfull of sweete incense beaten small, and bring it within the vayle,
Después tomará un incensario lleno de brasas de fuego de sobre el altar que está delante de Yavé, llenará sus puños de incienso aromático molido y lo llevará detrás del velo.
13 And shall put the incense vpon the fire before the Lord, that the cloude of the incense may couer the Merciseat that is vpon the Testimonie: so he shall not dye.
Pondrá el incienso sobre el fuego en la Presencia de Yavé para que el humo del incienso cubra el Propiciatorio que está sobre el Testimonio para que no muera.
14 And hee shall take of the blood of the bullocke, and sprinkle it with his finger vpon the Merciseat Eastward: and before the Merciseate shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seuen times.
Luego tomará [parte] de la sangre del becerro y rociará con su dedo sobre el Propiciatorio, hacia el oriente. Con esa sangre rociará siete veces con su dedo delante del Propiciatorio.
15 Then shall he kill the goate that is the peoples sinne offring, and bring his blood within the vaile, and doe with that blood, as he did with the blood of the bullocke, and sprinckle it vpon the Merciseate, and before the Merciseate.
Después degollará el macho cabrío del sacrificio por el pecado que corresponde al pueblo, y meterá su sangre detrás del velo. Hará con su sangre como hizo con la sangre del becerro: rociará sobre el Propiciatorio y delante del Propiciatorio.
16 So he shall purge the Holy place from the vncleannes of the children of Israel, and from their trespasses of all their sinnes: so shall he do also for the Tabernacle of the Cogregation placed with them, in the middes of their vncleannesse.
Así hará sacrificio que apacigua por el Santuario a causa de las impurezas de los hijos de Israel y de sus transgresiones, por todos sus pecados. Así hará también por el Tabernáculo de Reunión que está con ellos en medio de sus impurezas.
17 And there shalbe no man in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, when he goeth in to make an atonement in the Holy place, vntill hee come out, and haue made an atonement for himselfe, and for his housholde, and for all the Congregation of Israel.
Nadie permanecerá en el Tabernáculo de Reunión desde cuando él entre en el Santuario para hacer sacrificio que apacigua hasta cuando haga el sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo, por su casa y por toda la congregación de Israel, y salga.
18 After, he shall goe out vnto the altar that is before the Lord and make a reconciliation vpon it, and shall take of the blood of the bullocke, and of the blood of the goate, and put it vpon the hornes of the Altar round about:
Luego saldrá hacia el altar que está ante Yavé y hará sacrificio que apacigua por él. Tomará parte de la sangre del becerro y de la sangre del macho cabrío y la aplicará sobre los cuernos del altar, por todos lados.
19 So shall hee sprinkle of the blood vpon it with his finger seuen times, and clense it, and halowe it from the vncleannes of the children of Israel.
Luego rociará sobre éste siete veces parte de la sangre con su dedo, y así lo purificará y lo santificará de las impurezas de los hijos de Israel.
20 When he hath made an ende of purging the Holy place, and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and the altar, then he shall bring the liue goate:
Cuando acabe de hacer el sacrificio que apacigua por el Santuario, el Tabernáculo de Reunión y el altar, ordenará que traigan el macho cabrío vivo.
21 And Aaron shall put both his handes vpon the head of the liue goate, and confesse ouer him al the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their trespasses, in all their sinnes, putting them vpon the head of the goate, and shall sende him away (by the hand of a man appointed) into the wildernes.
Aarón pondrá sus dos manos sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío vivo y confesará sobre él todas las iniquidades de los hijos de Israel, todas sus transgresiones y todos sus pecados. Así los depositará sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío y lo enviará al desierto por medio de un hombre destinado para esto.
22 So the goate shall beare vpon him all their iniquities into the land that is not inhabited, and he shall let the goate go into the wildernesse.
El macho cabrío cargará sobre él todas las iniquidades de ellos hacia una tierra solitaria, y se dejará ir por el desierto.
23 After, Aaron shall come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and put off the linnen clothes, which he put on when he went into the Holy place, and leaue them there.
Después Aarón entrará en el Tabernáculo de Reunión, se quitará las ropas de lino que se puso para entrar en el Santuario y las dejará allí.
24 Hee shall wash also his flesh with water in the Holy place, and put on his owne rayment, and come out, and make his burnt offring, and the burnt offring of the people, and make an atonement for himselfe, and for the people.
Luego lavará su cuerpo con agua en un lugar santo y vestirá sus ropas. Saldrá y ofrecerá su holocausto y el holocausto del pueblo. Hará sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo y por el pueblo,
25 Also the fatte of the sinne offring shall he burne vpon the altar.
y dejará consumir sobre el altar la grasa del sacrificio por el pecado.
26 And he that caried forth the goat, called the Scape goat, shall wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in water, and after that shall come into the hoste.
Con respecto al que llevó el macho cabrío a Azazel, lavará sus ropas y su cuerpo con agua, tras lo cual podrá entrar en el campamento.
27 Also the bullocke for the sinne offring, and the goate for the sinne offring (whose blood was brought to make a reconciliation in the Holy place) shall one carie out without the hoste to be burnt in the fire, with their skinnes, and with their flesh, and with their doung.
Pero el sacrificio del becerro y del macho cabrío por el pecado, cuya sangre se introdujo para hacer sacrificio que apacigua en el Lugar Santo, serán llevados fuera del campamento y quemados al fuego: sus cueros, su carne y su estiércol.
28 And hee that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in water, and afterward come into the hoste.
El que los queme lavará sus ropas y lavará su cuerpo con agua, tras lo cual podrá entrar en el campamento.
29 So this shalbe an ordinance for euer vnto you: the tenth day of the seuenth moneth, yee shall humble your soules, and do no worke at all, whether it be one of the same countrey or a strager that soiourneth among you.
Esto tendrán ustedes como estatuto perpetuo: El séptimo mes, el décimo día del mes, humillarán sus almas y no harán ninguna obra, ni el nativo ni el extranjero que vive entre ustedes.
30 For that day shall ye Priest make an atonement for you to clense you: ye shalbe cleane from all your sinnes before the Lord.
Porque ese día se hará sacrificio que apacigua por ustedes para purificarlos, y quedarán purificados de todos sus pecados delante de Yavé.
31 This shall be a Sabbath of rest vnto you, and ye shall humble your soules, by an ordinance for euer.
Será para ustedes un descanso sabático y se humillarán. Es un estatuto perpetuo.
32 And the Priest whom he shall anoynt, and whom he shall cosecrate (to minister in his fathers steade) shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linnen clothes and Holy vestments,
El sacerdote que fue ungido y consagrado para ser sacerdote en lugar de su padre, hará el sacrificio que apacigua. Vestirá las ropas de lino blanco, las ropas más sagradas.
33 And shall purge the Holy Sanctuarie and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall clense the altar, and make an atonement for the Priests and for all the people of the Congregation.
Hará sacrificio que apacigua por el Santuario, por el Tabernáculo de Reunión y por el altar, y por los sacerdotes y por todo el pueblo de la congregación.
34 And this shalbe an euerlasting ordinance vnto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sinnes once a yeere: and as the Lord commanded Moses, he did.
Esto lo tendrán como estatuto perpetuo: Que se haga sacrificio que apacigua una vez al año por los hijos de Israel, a causa de todos sus pecados. Moisés hizo como Yavé ordenó.
