Lamentations 1
1 Howe doeth the citie remaine solitarie that was full of people? she is as a widowe: she that was great among the nations, and princesse among the prouinces, is made tributarie.
Как одиноко сидит город, некогда многолюдный! он стал, как вдова; великий между народами, князь над областями сделался данником.
2 She weepeth continually in the night, and her teares runne downe by her cheekes: among all her louers, she hath none to comfort her: all her friendes haue delt vnfaithfully with her, and are her enemies.
Горько плачет он ночью, и слезы его на ланитах его. Нет у него утешителя из всех, любивших его; все друзья его изменили ему, сделались врагами ему.
3 Iudah is caried away captiue because of affliction, and because of great seruitude: shee dwelleth among the heathen, and findeth no rest: all her persecuters tooke her in the straites.
Иуда переселился по причине бедствия и тяжкого рабства, поселился среди язычников, и не нашел покоя; все, преследовавшие его, настигли его в тесных местах.
4 The wayes of Zion lament, because no man commeth to the solemne feastes: all her gates are desolate: her Priests sigh: her virgins are discomfited, and she is in heauinesse.
Пути Сиона сетуют, потому что нет идущих на праздник; все ворота его опустели; священники его вздыхают, девицы его печальны, горько и ему самому.
5 Her aduersaries are the chiefe, and her enemies prosper: for the Lord hath afflicted her, for the multitude of her transgressions, and her children are gone into captiuitie before the enemie.
Враги его стали во главе, неприятели его благоденствуют, потому что Господь наслал на него горе за множество беззаконий его; дети его пошли в плен впереди врага.
6 And from the daughter of Zion all her beautie is departed: her princes are become like harts that finde no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer.
И отошло от дщери Сиона все ее великолепие; князья ее - как олени, не находящие пажити; обессиленные они пошли вперед погонщика.
7 Ierusalem remembred the dayes of her affliction, and of her rebellion, and all her pleasant things, that shee had in times past, when her people fell into the hande of the enemie, and none did helpe her: the aduersarie sawe her, and did mocke at her Sabbaths.
Вспомнил Иерусалим, во дни бедствия своего и страданий своих, о всех драгоценностях своих, какие были у него в прежние дни, тогда как народ его пал от руки врага, и никто не помогает ему; неприятели смотрят на него и смеются над его субботами.
8 Ierusalem hath grieuously sinned, therefore shee is in derision: all that honoured her, despise her, because they haue seene her filthinesse: yea, she sigheth and turneth backeward.
Тяжко согрешил Иерусалим, за то и сделался отвратительным; все, прославлявшие его, смотрят на него с презрением, потому что увидели наготу его; и сам он вздыхает и отворачивается назад.
9 Her filthinesse is in her skirts: she remembred not her last ende, therefore she came downe wonderfully: she had no comforter: O Lord, behold mine affliction: for the enemie is proud.
На подоле у него была нечистота, но он не помышлял о будущности своей, и поэтому необыкновенно унизился, и нет у него утешителя. “Воззри, Господи, на бедствие мое, ибо враг возвеличился!”
10 The enemie hath stretched out his hande vpon al her pleasant things: for she hath seene the heathen enter into her Sanctuarie, whom thou diddest commande, that they shoulde not enter into thy Church.
Враг простер руку свою на все самое драгоценное его; он видит, как язычники входят во святилище его, о котором Ты заповедал, чтобы они не вступали в собрание Твое.
11 All her people sigh and seeke their bread: they haue giuen their pleasant thinges for meate to refresh the soule: see, O Lord, and consider: for I am become vile.
Весь народ его вздыхает, ища хлеба, отдает драгоценности свои за пищу, чтобы подкрепить душу. “Воззри, Господи, и посмотри, как я унижен!”
12 Haue ye no regarde, all yee that passe by this way? behold, and see, if there be any sorowe like vnto my sorowe, which is done vnto mee, wherewith the Lord hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce wrath.
Да не будет этого с вами, все проходящие путем! взгляните и посмотрите, есть ли болезнь, как моя болезнь, какая постигла меня, какую наслал на меня Господь в день пламенного гнева Своего?
13 From aboue hath hee sent fire into my bones, which preuaile against them: he hath spred a net for my feete, and turned me backe: hee hath made me desolate, and daily in heauinesse.
Свыше послал Он огонь в кости мои, и он овладел ими; раскинул сеть для ног моих, опрокинул меня, сделал меня бедным и томящимся всякий день.
14 The yoke of my transgressions is bounde vpon his hand: they are wrapped, and come vp vpon my necke: hee hath made my strength to fall: the Lord hath deliuered me into their hands, neither am I able to rise vp.
Ярмо беззаконий моих связано в руке Его; они сплетены и поднялись на шею мою; Он ослабил силы мои. Господь отдал меня в руки, из которых не могу подняться.
15 The Lord hath troden vnder foote all my valiant men in the middes of me: he hath called an assembly against me to destroy my yong men: the Lord hath troden the wine presse vpon the virgine the daughter of Iudah.
Всех сильных моих Господь низложил среди меня, созвал против меня собрание, чтобы истребить юношей моих; как в точиле, истоптал Господь деву, дочь Иуды.
16 For these things I weepe: mine eye, euen mine eye casteth out water, because the comforter that should refresh my soule, is farre from me: my children are desolate, because the enemie preuailed.
Об этом плачу я; око мое, око мое изливает воды, ибо далеко от меня утешитель, который оживил бы душу мою; дети мои разорены, потому что враг превозмог.
17 Zion stretcheth out her handes, and there is none to comfort her: the Lord hath appoynted the enemies of Iaakob rounde about him: Ierusalem is as a menstruous woman in the middes of them.
Сион простирает руки свои, но утешителя нет ему. Господь дал повеление о Иакове врагам его окружить его; Иерусалим сделался мерзостью среди них.
18 The Lord is righteous: for I haue rebelled against his commandement: heare, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorowe: my virgins and my yong men are gone into captiuitie.
Праведен Господь, ибо я непокорен был слову Его. Послушайте, все народы, и взгляните на болезнь мою: девы мои и юноши мои пошли в плен.
19 I called for my louers, but they deceiued me: my Priestes and mine Elders perished in the citie while they sought their meate to refresh their soules.
Зову друзей моих, но они обманули меня; священники мои и старцы мои издыхают в городе, ища пищи себе, чтобы подкрепить душу свою.
20 Behold, O Lord, howe I am troubled: my bowels swell: mine heart is turned within me, for I am ful of heauinesse: the sword spoyleth abroad, as death doeth at home.
Воззри, Господи, ибо мне тесно, волнуется во мне внутренность, сердце мое перевернулось во мне за то, что я упорно противился Тебе; отвне обесчадил меня меч, а дома - как смерть.
21 They haue heard that I mourne, but there is none to comfort mee: all mine enemies haue heard of my trouble, and are glad, that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day, that thou hast pronounced, and they shalbe like vnto me.
Услышали, что я стенаю, а утешителя у меня нет; услышали все враги мои о бедствии моем и обрадовались, что Ты соделал это: о, если бы Ты повелел наступить дню, предреченному Тобою, и они стали бы подобными мне!
22 Let all their wickednes come before thee: do vnto them, as thou hast done vnto me, for all my transgressions: for my sighes are many, and mine heart is heauy.
Да предстанет пред лице Твое вся злоба их; и поступи с ними так же, как Ты поступил со мною за все грехи мои, ибо тяжки стоны мои, и сердце мое изнемогает.
