Judges 8
1 Then the men of Ephraim sayde vnto him, Why hast thou serued vs thus that thou calledst vs not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? and they chode with him sharply.

2 To whom he said, What haue I now done in comparison of you? is not the gleaning of grapes of Ephraim better, then the vintage of Abiezer?
Kasi Jedeon azongiselaki bango: — Nasali nini oyo ekokani na oyo bino bosala? Boni, ndambo ya bambuma ya vino oyo etikalaki na sima mpo ete Efrayimi abuka yango ezali kitoko te koleka bambuma ya vino ya liboso ya Abiezeri?
3 God hath deliuered into your handes the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison of you? and when he had thus spoken, then their spirits abated toward him.
Nzambe akabaki bakonzi ya bato ya Madiani, Orebi mpe Zeebi, na maboko na bino. Eloko nini ya lokumu ngai nasali oyo ekokani na oyo bino bosala? Liloba oyo ekitisaki kanda na bango.
4 And Gideon came to Iorden to passe ouer, hee, and the three hundreth men that were with him, weary, yet pursuing them.
Jedeon elongo na basoda na ye nkama misato bakomaki na Yordani mpe bakatisaki yango. Atako balembaki, bakobaki kaka kolanda bato ya Madiani.
5 And he said vnto the men of Succoth, Giue, I pray you, morsels of bread vnto the people that follow me (for they be wearie) that I may follow after Zebah, and Zalmunna Kings of Midian.
Tango bakomaki na mboka Sukoti, Jedeon asengaki na bato ya mboka: — Bopesa basoda na ngai mapa, pamba te basili kolemba na nzala. Nazali kolanda Zeba mpe Tsalimuna, bakonzi ya Madiani.
6 And the princes of Succoth sayde, Are the handes of Zebah and Zalmunna nowe in thine hads, that we should giue bread vnto thine army?
Kasi bakonzi ya mboka Sukoti bazongiselaki ye: — Boni, osili kozwa Zeba mpe Tsalimuna na se ya bokonzi na yo mpo ete biso topesa basoda na yo mapa?
7 Gideon then sayde, Therefore when the Lord hath deliuered Zebah and Zalmunna into mine hand, I will teare your flesh with thornes of the wildernes and with breers.
Jedeon alobaki: — Lokola bolobi boye, tango Yawe akokaba, na maboko na ngai, Zeba mpe Tsalimuna, nakopasola-pasola misuni na bino na basende ya esobe mpe na singa ya nzube.
8 And he went vp thence to Penuel, and spake vnto them likewise, and the men of Penuel answered him, as the men of Succoth answered.
Wuta kuna, Jedeon amataki na mboka Penueli mpe asengaki epai ya bavandi na yango, ndenge kaka asengaki epai ya bato ya Sukoti. Kasi bato ya Penueli bazongiselaki ye ndenge kaka bato ya Sukoti basalaki.
9 And he sayd also vnto the men of Penuel, When I come againe in peace, I will breake downe this towre.
Jedeon alobaki na bato ya Penueli: « Soki nakozonga na kimia mpe na bomoi, nakobuka ndako molayi na bino. »
10 Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their hostes with them, about fifteene thousande, all that were left of all the hostes of them of the East: for there was slaine an hundreth and twentie thousand men, that drew swordes.

11 And Gideon went through them that dwelt in Tabernacles on the East side of Nobah and Iogbehah, and smote the hoste: for the hoste was carelesse.
Bongo, Jedeon akendeki na nzela ya bavandi ya bandako ya kapo, na ngambo ya este ya Noba mpe ya Yogibeka; abetaki mampinga ya banguna na mopanga mpe alongaki bango tango bazalaki kokanisa ete bazali na kimia.
12 And when Zebah and Zalmunna fled, hee followed after them, and tooke the two kings of Midian, Zebah and Zalmunna, and discomfited all the hoste.
Zeba mpe Tsalimuna, bakonzi mibale ya Madiani, bakimaki; kasi Jedeon alandaki mpe akangaki bango. Mpe apanzaki mampinga na bango nyonso.
13 So Gideon the sonne of Ioash returned from battel, the sunne being yet hie,
Jedeon, mwana mobali ya Joasi, azongaki wuta na bitumba na nzela ya ngomba Eresi.
14 And tooke a seruant of the me of Succoth, and inquired of him: and he wrote to him the princes of Succoth and the Elders thereof, euen seuentie and seuen men.
Akangaki elenge mobali moko kati na mibali ya mboka Sukoti, mpe atunaki ye mituna. Boye, elenge mobali yango akomelaki ye bakombo ya bakambi mpe ya bampaka tuku sambo na sambo ya engumba.
15 And he came vnto the men of Succoth, and sayd, Behold Zebah and Zalmunna, by whome ye vpbrayded me, saying, Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna already in thine hands, that we should giue bread vnto thy weary men?
Jedeon akendeki epai ya bato ya mboka Sukoti mpe alobaki na bango: « Tala Zeba mpe Tsalimuna oyo bofingelaki ngai na koloba: ‹ Osili kotia na se ya bokonzi na yo Zeba mpe Tsalumuna mpo ete biso topesa lipa na basoda na yo, oyo basili kolemba? › »
16 Then he tooke the Elders of the citie, and thornes of the wildernes and breers, and did teare the men of Succoth with them.
Azwaki bampaka ya engumba Sukoti mpe abetisaki bango fimbu, na basende ya esobe mpe singa ya nzube.
17 Also he brake downe the towre of Penuel, and slew the men of the citie.
Abukaki ndako molayi ya Penueli mpe abomaki mibali ya engumba.
18 Then saide he vnto Zebah and Zalmunna, What maner of men were they, whom ye slew at Tabor? and they answered, As thou art, so were they: euery one was like the children of a King.
Jedeon atunaki Zeba mpe Tsalimuna: — Mibali oyo bobomaki na Tabori, bazalaki ndenge nini? Bazongisaki: — Bakokanaki na yo mpe bazalaki lokola bana ya bakonzi.
19 And he said, They were my brethren, euen my mothers children: as the Lord liueth, if ye had saued their liues, I would not slay you.
Jedeon alobaki na bango lisusu: — Bato wana bazalaki bandeko na ngai ya mibali, bana ya mama na ngai penza. Na Kombo na Yawe, soki bobikisaki bango, ngai mpe nalingaki koboma bino te.
20 Then he sayde vnto Iether his first borne sonne, Vp, and slay them: but the boy drew not his sword: for he feared, because he was yet yong.
Mpe apesaki mitindo na Yeteri, mwana na ye ya liboso ya mobali: « Telema mpe boma bango! » Kasi elenge mobali abimisaki mopanga na ye te, pamba te azalaki nanu elenge mpe azalaki na somo.
21 Then Zebah and Zalmunna sayd, Rise thou, and fall vpon vs: for as the man is, so is his strength. And Gideon arose and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and tooke away the ornamentes, that were on their camels neckes.
Zeba mpe Tsalimuna balobaki: « Telema mpe boma biso yo moko, pamba te likambo oyo ekoki na bato ya mitema makasi. » Boye, Jedeon atelemaki mpe abomaki bango. Akamataki bamedayi ya wolo oyo ezalaki na bakingo ya bashamo na bango.
22 Then the men of Israel sayd vnto Gideon, Reigne thou ouer vs, both thou, and thy sonne, and thy sonnes sonne: for thou hast deliuered vs out of the hand of Midian.
Bana ya Isalaele balobaki na Jedeon: — Zala mokonzi na biso, yo moko, mwana na yo ya mobali mpe koko na yo ya mobali, pamba te obikisi biso na loboko ya bato ya Madiani.
23 And Gideon sayde vnto them, I will not reigne ouer you, neither shall my childe reigne ouer you, but the Lord shall reigne ouer you.
Kasi Jedeon alobaki na bango: — Nakozala mokonzi na bino te, ezala ata mwana na ngai ya mobali. Yawe nde akozala mokonzi na bino.
24 Againe Gideon sayd vnto them, I would desire a request of you, that you would giue mee euery man the earings of his pray (for they had golden earings because they were Ismaelites)
Jedeon abakisaki: — Nalingi kosenga bino eloko moko: Kati na biloko oyo bino bosili kozwa na bitumba, tika ete moko na moko kati na bino apesa ngai eloko ya litoyi. Pamba te banguna na biso bazalaki kolata biloko ya matoyi mpo ete bazali bana ya Isimaeli.
25 And they answered, Wee will giue them. And they spred a garment, and did cast therein euery man the earings of his pray.
Bana ya Isalaele bazongisaki: — Tokopesa yango. Batandaki elamba na mabele, moko na moko abwakaki eloko na ye ya litoyi, oyo ewutaki na bomengo ya bitumba.
26 And the weight of the golden earings that he required, was a thousande and seuen hundreth shekels of golde, beside collers and iewels, and purple rayment that was on the kings of Midian, and beside the cheynes that were about their camels neckes.
Biloko ya matoyi ya wolo, oyo Jedeon asengaki ezalaki ya bakilo pene tuku mibale, longola bamedayi ya wolo oyo ezalaki lokola sanza ya ndambo, biloko ya matoyi oyo ediembelaka, bilamba ya talo ya motane makasi oyo bakonzi ya Madiani balataki mpe mayaka oyo ezalaki na bakingo ya bashamo na bango.
27 And Gideon made an Ephod thereof, and put it in Ophrah his citie: and all Israel went a whoring there after it, which was the destruction of Gideon and his house.
Jedeon asalelaki yango ekeko oyo atiaki na Ofira, engumba na ye. Bana ya Isalaele bakomaki kokende kofukama liboso ya ekeko yango, mpe ekomaki motambo monene mpo na Jedeon mpe libota na ye.
28 Thus was Midian brought lowe before the children of Israel, so that they lift vp their heads no more: and the countrey was in quietnes fourtie yeeres in the dayes of Gideon.
Boye, bato ya Madiani bakitisamaki liboso ya bana ya Isalaele mpe batombolaki lisusu mito na bango te. Na tango nyonso oyo Jedeon azalaki na bomoi, mokili etikalaki na kimia mibu tuku minei.
29 Then Ierubbaal the sonne of Ioash went, and dwelt in his owne house.
Yerubali, mwana mobali ya Joasi, azongaki na ndako na ye mpe avandaki kuna.
30 And Gideon had seuentie sonnes begotten of his body: for he had many wiues.
Jedeon azalaki na bana tuku sambo oyo bawutaki na mokongo na ye, pamba te azalaki na basi ebele.
31 And his concubine that was in Shechem, bare him a sonne also, whose name he called Abimelech.
Makangu na ye, oyo azalaki kovanda na Sishemi, abotelaki ye mpe mwana mobali oyo bapesaki kombo « Abimeleki. »
32 So Gideon the sonne of Ioash dyed in a good age, and was buried in the sepulchre of Ioash his father in Ophrah, of the father of ye Ezrites.
Jedeon, mwana mobali ya Joasi, akufaki na kimobange ya esengo, mpe bakundaki ye kati na kunda ya Joasi, na Ofira, mboka ya libota ya Abiezeri.
33 But when Gideon was dead, the children of Israel turned away and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baal-berith their God.
Sima na kufa ya Jedeon, bana ya Isalaele bazongelaki kosambela banzambe Bala. Bakomisaki Bala-Beriti nzambe na bango.
34 And the children of Israel remembred not the Lord their God, which had deliuered the out of the hands of all their enemies on euery side.
Bana ya Isalaele babosanaki Yawe, Nzambe na bango, oyo akangolaki bango na maboko ya banguna na bango.
35 Neither shewed they mercy on the house of Ierubbaal, or Gideon, according to al the goodnesse which he had shewed vnto Israel.
Bazongisaki ata bolamu moko te na libota ya Yerubali oyo elakisi Jedeon, mpo na bolamu nyonso oyo asalelaki Isalaele.
