< John 15 >

1 I Am that true vine, and my Father is that husband man.
“Nyee nye Wainti vavã la, eye Fofonyee nye Agbletɔ la.
2 Euery branch that beareth not fruite in me, he taketh away: and euery one that beareth fruite, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruite.
Elãa alɔdze siwo le ŋunye eye wometsea ku o la ɖa, ke esiwo tsea ku la, eɖea wo ŋu be woagatse ku geɖe fũu wu.
3 Nowe are ye cleane through the worde, which I haue spoken vnto you.
Miawo la, mia ŋu kɔ xoxo le nya siwo megblɔ na mi la ta.
4 Abide in me, and I in you: as the branche cannot beare fruite of it selfe, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Minɔ menye, eye nye hã manɔ mia me. Wainti ƒe alɔdze aɖeke mate ŋu atse ku nenye be wolãe ɖa tso wainti la ŋu o, eya ta miawo hã, nye manɔmee la, miate ŋu atse ku aɖeke o.
5 I am that vine: ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruite: for without me can ye doe nothing.
“Nyee nye wainti la, eye miawoe nye alɔdzeawo. Ame si le menye, eye nye hã mele eme la, atse ku nyui geɖe, elabena nye manɔmee la, miate ŋu awɔ naneke o.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branche, and withereth: and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they burne.
Ame si aɖe ɖe aga tso gbɔnye la, woatsɔe aƒu gbe abe alɔdze matseku ene, eye woatɔ dzoe.
7 If ye abide in me, and my wordes abide in you, aske what ye wil, and it shalbe done to you.
Ke ne miele menye, eye nye nyawo le mia me la, nu sia nu si miabia la, woawɔe na mi.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye beare much fruite, and be made my disciples.
Esia hea ŋutikɔkɔe vɛ na Fofonye, nenye be mietse ku geɖe, eye miefia mia ɖokuiwo abe nye nusrɔ̃lawo ene.
9 As the father hath loued me, so haue I loued you: continue in that my loue.
“Melɔ̃ mi abe ale si Fofo la lɔ̃m ene, eya ta minɔ nye lɔlɔ̃ la me.
10 If ye shall keepe my commandements, ye shall abide in my loue, as I haue kept my Fathers commandements, and abide in his loue.
Ne miewɔa se siwo mede na mi dzi la, mianɔ nye lɔlɔ̃ la me abe ale si meɖo to Fofonye ƒe sededewo, eye menɔ eƒe lɔlɔ̃ la me ene.
11 These things haue I spoken vnto you, that my ioy might remaine in you, and that your ioy might be full.
Megblɔ nya siawo na mi be dzidzɔ si le menye la nanɔ miawo hã mia me, be miaƒe dzidzɔ nagbã go.
12 This is my commandement, that ye loue one another, as I haue loued you.
Mele se dem na mi be mialɔ̃ mia nɔewo abe ale si nye hã melɔ̃ mie ene.
13 Greater loue then this hath no man, when any man bestoweth his life for his friendes.
Lɔlɔ̃ gãtɔ kekeake si ame ate ŋu aɖe afia nɔvia lae nye be wòatsɔ eƒe agbe ana ɖe exɔlɔ̃wo ta.
14 Ye are my friendes, if ye doe whatsoeuer I commaund you.
15 Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you.
Nyemagayɔ mi be subɔlawo o, elabena aƒetɔ mate ŋu agblɔ eƒe nya ɣaɣlawo na subɔla o. Ke meyɔ mi be xɔ̃nyewo, elabena megblɔ nya sia nya si Fofo la gblɔ nam la na mi.
16 Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeined you, that ye goe and bring foorth fruite, and that your fruite remaine, that whatsoeuer ye shall aske of the Father in my Name, he may giue it you.
Menye miawoe tiam o, ke boŋ nyee tia mi, eye ɖe metia mi be miayi aɖatse ku, kutsetse siwo anɔ anyi ɖaa. Eye Fofo la ana nu sia nu si miabia le nye ŋkɔ dzi la mi.
17 These things commaund I you, that ye loue one another.
Mele se dem na mi be milɔ̃ mia nɔewo.
18 If the worlde hate you, ye knowe that it hated me before you.
“Ne xexe sia me tɔwo lé fu mi la, minyae be wolé fum gbã.
19 If ye were of the worlde, the world woulde loue his owne: but because ye are not of ye world, but I haue chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Nenye xexe sia me tɔwo mienye la, anye ne woalɔ̃ mi, ke esi metia mi tso xexea me ta la, wolé fu mi.
20 Remember the word that I said vnto you, The seruant is not greater then his master. If they haue persecuted me, they will persecute you also: if they haue kept my worde, they will also keepe yours.
Nenye ɖe woɖo tom la, woaɖo to miawo hã.
21 But all these things will they doe vnto you for my Names sake, because they haue not knowen him that sent me.
Xexe sia me tɔwo ati mia yome, elabena mienye tɔnyewo. Woawɔ esia ɖe mia ŋu, elabena womenya ame si dɔm la o.
22 If I had not come and spoken vnto them, they shoulde not haue had sinne: but nowe haue they no cloke for their sinne.
23 He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.
Ame si lé fum la lé fu Fofonye hã.
24 If I had not done workes among them which none other man did, they had not had sinne: but nowe haue they both seene, and haue hated both me, and my Father.
25 But it is that the worde might be fulfilled, that is written in their Lawe, They hated me without a cause.
Esia wu nya si wogblɔ le se la me be, ‘Wolé fum dzodzro’ la nu.
26 But when that Comforter shall come, whom I will send vnto you from the Father, euen the Spirit of trueth, which proceedeth of the Father, he shall testifie of me.
“Ne Nyaxɔɖeakɔla la, ame si madɔ ɖo ɖe mi tso Fofo la gbɔ, nyateƒe ƒe Gbɔgbɔ si tso Fofo la gbɔ va la, aɖi ɖase tso ŋutinye.
27 And ye shall witnesse also, because ye haue bene with me from the beginning.
Eye ele be miawo hã miaɖi ɖase le ŋutinye, elabena mienɔ anyi kplim tso gɔmedzedzea me ke.
