1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
Shuhi Bildad loh a doo tih,
2 When will yee make an ende of your words? cause vs to vnderstande, and then wee will speake.
“Olthui kah taikhaihnah te me hil nim na khueh ve. Yakming lamtah a hnukah thui sih.
3 Wherefore are wee counted as beastes, and are vile in your sight?
Balae tih rhamsa bangla nan poek, na mikhmuh ah ka angvawk a?
4 Thou art as one that teareth his soule in his anger. Shall the earth bee forsaken for thy sake? or the rocke remoued out of his place?
A thintoek ah amah hinglu pataeng a baeh ta. Diklai loh a hnoo tih lungpang te a hmuen lamloh a thoeih akhaw nang hut a?
5 Yea, the light of the wicked shalbe quenched, and the sparke of his fire shall not shine.
Halang rhoek kah vangnah ngawn tah thi tih, a hmai te hmaihli bang lam pataeng aa pawh.
6 The light shalbe darke in his dwelling, and his candle shalbe put out with him.
Vangnah khaw a dap khuiah hmuep tih a hmaithoi khaw amah taengah a thih pah.
7 The steps of his strength shalbe restrained, and his owne counsell shall cast him downe.
A thahuem kah khokan pataeng caek tih, a cilsuep loh amah a voeih.
8 For hee is taken in the net by his feete, and he walketh vpon the snares.
A kho loh lawk khuila a tueih tih, sahamlong khuila a pongpa sak.
9 The grenne shall take him by the heele, and the theefe shall come vpon him.
A khodil te pael loh a tuuk tih, amah te kokthah dongah man.
10 A snare is layed for him in the ground, and a trappe for him in the way.
A rhuihet te diklai dongah a tung tih, a sutaeh te a hawn ah a khueh pah.
11 Fearefulnesse shall make him afrayde on euery side, and shall driue him to his feete.

12 His strength shalbe famine: and destruction shalbe readie at his side.
A boethae ah bungpong la om tih, a cungdonah hamla rhainah khaw a sikim pah.
13 It shall deuoure the inner partes of his skinne, and the first borne of death shall deuoure his strength.
Dueknah caming loh a vin saa a caak pah tih a rhuhrhong a hnom pah.
14 His hope shalbe rooted out of his dwelling, and shall cause him to go to the King of feare.
A pangtungnah a dap lamloh a poh tih mueirhih manghai taengla a luei sak.
15 Feare shall dwell in his house (because it is not his) and brimstone shalbe scattered vpon his habitation.
Amah kah pawt long khaw anih kah dap ah kho a sak tih, a tolkhoeng te yam a phul thil.
16 His rootes shalbe dryed vp beneath, and aboue shall his branche be cut downe.
A yung khui ah koh tih a so duela a pae khaw ngat.
17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall haue no name in the streete.
Anih poekkoepnah te diklai lamloh paltham tih, a ming te rhamvoel hmai ah om pawh.
18 They shall driue him out of the light vnto darkenesse, and chase him out of the world.
Anih te vangnah lamloh a hmuep la a thaek uh tih, anih te lunglai lamloh a poeng sak uh.
19 Hee shall neither haue sonne nor nephewe among his people, nor any posteritie in his dwellings.

20 The posteritie shalbe astonied at his day, and feare shall come vpon the ancient.
Amah tue vaengah pong tih, a hnuk a hmai la hlithae loh a tuuk.
21 Surely such are the habitations of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
