Jeremiah 1
1 The wordes of Ieremiah the sonne of Hilkiah one of the Priests that were at Anathoth in the lande of Beniamin.
ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಅನಾತೋತ್ ಊರಿನ ಯಾಜಕ ವರ್ಗದವನೂ, ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಗಳು.
2 To whom the worde of the Lord came in the dayes of Iosiah the sonne of Amon King of Iudah in the thirteenth yeere of his reigne:
ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಆಮೋನನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಹದಿಮೂರನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಬಂತು.
3 And also in the dayes of Iehoiakim the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah vnto the ende of the eleuenth yeere of Zedekiah, the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah, euen vnto the carying away of Ierusalem captiue in the fift moneth.
ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನ ಕಾಲದ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಐದನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರು ಸೆರೆ ಹೋಗುವ ತನಕ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಒದಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
4 Then the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದರು,
5 Before I formed thee in the wombe, I knewe thee, and before thou camest out of the wombe, I sanctified thee, and ordeined thee to be a Prophet vnto the nations.
“ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೆನು. ನೀನು ಹುಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದ್ದೆನು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.”
6 Then said I, Oh, Lord God, behold, I can not speake, for I am a childe.
ಆಗ ನಾನು, “ಹಾ, ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಇಗೋ ನಾನು ಮಾತು ಬಲ್ಲವನಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವನು,” ಎಂದೆನು.
7 But the Lord said vnto me, Say not, I am a childe: for thou shalt goe to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoeuer I command thee, shalt thou speake.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, “‘ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಡ.’ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು.
8 Be not afraide of their faces: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, saith the Lord.
ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
9 Then the Lord stretched out his hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said vnto me, Beholde, I haue put my wordes in thy mouth.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ, ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ನನಗೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
10 Beholde, this day haue I set thee ouer the nations and ouer the kingdomes to plucke vp, and to roote out, and to destroye and throwe downe, to builde, and to plant.
ನೋಡು, ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನೀನು ಕೀಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನಾಶಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಕೆಡವಿ ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನೆಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
11 After this the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying, Ieremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almonde tree.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ, “ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನೇ, ನೀನು ಏನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತೀ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು, “ಬಾದಾಮಿ ಮರದ ಕೊಂಬೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದೆನು.
12 Then saide the Lord vnto me, Thou hast seene aright: for I will hasten my worde to performe it.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು, ತಿಳಿದುಕೊ” ಎಂದರು.
13 Againe the worde of the Lord came vnto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I saide, I see a seething pot looking out of the North.
ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ, “ನೀನು ಏನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ, ನಾನು, “ಬೇಯುವ ಮಡಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅದರ ಬಾಯಿ ಉತ್ತರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇದೆ,” ಎಂದೆನು.
14 Then saide the Lord vnto me, Out of the North shall a plague be spred vpon all the inhabitants of the land.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, “ಉತ್ತರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡು ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವುದು.
15 For loe, I will call all the families of the kingdomes of the North, saith the Lord, and they shall come, and euery one shall set his throne in the entring of the gates of Ierusalem, and on all the walles thereof rounde about, and in all the cities of Iudah.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಕುಲಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. “ಅವರು ಬಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಪ್ರವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲಾಗಿರುವ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಿಸುವರು.
16 And I will declare vnto them my iudgements touching all the wickednesse of them that haue forsaken me, and haue burnt incense vnto other gods, and worshipped the workes of their owne handes.
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕೈಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವೆನು.
17 Thou therefore trusse vp thy loynes, and arise and speake vnto them all that I commaund thee: be not afraide of their faces, lest I destroy thee before them.
“ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ನಡುವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ದಿಗಿಲುಪಡಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ.
18 For I, beholde, I this day haue made thee a defenced citie, and an yron pillar and walles of brasse against the whole lande, against the Kings of Iudah, and against the princes thereof, against the Priestes thereof and against the people of the lande.
ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅದರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅದರ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ, ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಾನೇ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಸ್ತಂಭವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಂಚಿನ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
19 For they shall fight against thee, but they shall not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, sayth the Lord.
ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವರು. ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನುಡಿ.
