Jeremiah 32
1 The worde that came vnto Ieremiah from the Lord, in the tenth yere of Zedekiah king of Iudah, which was the eightenth yeere of Nebuchad-nezzar.
Das Wort, welches von seiten Jehovas zu Jeremia geschah im zehnten Jahre Zedekias, des Königs von Juda; dieses Jahr war das achtzehnte Jahr Nebukadnezars.
2 For then the King of Babels hoste besieged Ierusalem: And Ieremiah the Prophet was shutte vp in the court of the prison, which was in the King of Iudahs house.
Und das Heer des Königs von Babel belagerte damals Jerusalem. Und der Prophet Jeremia war im Gefängnishofe eingesperrt, der im Hause des Königs von Juda ist;
3 For Zedekiah King of Iudah had shut him vp, saying, Wherefore doest thou prophesie, and say, Thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will giue this citie into the handes of the King of Babel, and he shall take it?
denn Zedekia, der König von Juda, hatte ihn eingesperrt und gesagt: "Warum weissagst du und sprichst: So spricht Jehova: Siehe, ich gebe diese Stadt in die Hand des Königs von Babel, daß er sie einnehme;
4 And Zedekiah the King of Iudah shall not escape out of the hande of the Caldeans, but shall surely be deliuered into the handes of the King of Babel, and shall speake with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall beholde his face,
und Zedekia, der König von Juda, wird der Hand der Chaldäer nicht entrinnen, sondern gewißlich in die Hand des Königs von Babel gegeben werden; und sein Mund wird mit dessen Munde reden, und seine Augen werden dessen Augen sehen;
5 And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babel, and there shall he be, vntil I visit him, saith ye Lord: though ye fight with the Caldeans, ye shall not prosper.
und er wird Zedekia nach Babel führen, und daselbst wird er sein, bis ich mich seiner annehme [Vergl. Kap. 34,3-5,] spricht Jehova. Wenn ihr mit den Chaldäern streitet, so wird es euch nicht gelingen?"
6 And Ieremiah said, The word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Und Jeremia sprach: Das Wort Jehovas ist zu mir geschehen also:
7 Beholde, Hanameel, the sonne of Shallum thine vncle, shall come vnto thee and say, Bye vnto thee my fielde, that is in Anathoth: for the title by kindred appertaineth vnto thee to bye it.
Siehe, Hanamel, der Sohn Schallums, deines Oheims, wird zu dir kommen und sagen: Kaufe dir mein Feld, das zu Anathoth ist; denn du hast das Lösungsrecht, um es zu kaufen.
8 So Hanameel, mine vncles sonne, came to mee in the court of the prison, according to the word of the Lord, and said vnto me, Bye my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the countrey of Beniamin: for the right of the possession is thine, and the purchase belongeth vnto thee: bye it for thee. Then I knewe that this was the worde of the Lord.
Und Hanamel, der Sohn meines Oheims, kam zu mir, nach dem Worte Jehovas, in den Gefängnishof und sprach zu mir: Kaufe doch mein Feld, das zu Anathoth im Lande Benjamin ist, denn du hast das Erbrecht [Eig. das Eigentumsrecht, ] und du hast die Lösung; kaufe es dir. Und ich erkannte, daß es das Wort Jehovas war.
9 And I bought the field of Hanameel, mine vncles sonne, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the siluer, euen seuen shekels, and tenne pieces of siluer.
Und ich kaufte von Hanamel, dem Sohne meines Oheims, das Feld, das zu Anathoth ist, und wog ihm das Geld dar: siebzehn Sekel Silber.
10 And I writ it in the booke and signed it, and tooke witnesses, and weighed him the siluer in the balances.
Und ich schrieb einen Kaufbrief [W. schrieb in den Brief] und versiegelte ihn und nahm Zeugen, und ich wog das Geld auf der Waage dar.
11 So I tooke the booke of the possession, being sealed according to the Lawe, and custome, with the booke that was open,
Und ich nahm den Kaufbrief, den versiegelten: die Festsetzung und die Bestimmungen, und auch den offenen;
12 And I gaue the booke of the possession vnto Baruch the sonne of Neriah, the sonne of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine vncles sonne, and in the presence of the witnesses, written in the booke of the possession, before al the Iewes that sate in the court of the prison.
und ich gab den Kaufbrief Baruk, dem Sohne Nerijas, des Sohnes Machsejas, vor den Augen Hanamels, meines Vetters, und vor den Augen der Zeugen, welche den Kaufbrief unterschrieben hatten, vor den Augen aller Juden, die im Gefängnishofe saßen.
13 And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
Und ich befahl Baruk vor ihren Augen und sprach:
14 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Take the writings, euen this booke of the possession, both that is sealed, and this booke that is open, and put them in an earthen vessell, that they may continue a long time.
So spricht Jehova der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Nimm diese Briefe, diesen Kaufbrief, sowohl den versiegelten als auch diesen offenen Brief, und lege sie in ein irdenes Gefäß, auf daß sie viele Tage erhalten bleiben.
15 For the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel saith thus, Houses and fieldes, and vineyardes shall be possessed againe in this land.
Denn so spricht Jehova der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Es werden wiederum Häuser und Felder und Weinberge in diesem Lande gekauft werden.
16 Now when I had deliuered the booke of the possession vnto Baruch, the sonne of Neriah, I prayed vnto the Lord, saying,
Und nachdem ich Baruk, dem Sohne Nerijas, den Kaufbrief gegeben hatte, betete ich zu Jehova und sprach:
17 Ah Lord God, beholde, thou hast made the heauen and the earth by thy great power, and by thy stretched out arme, and there is nothing hard vnto thee.
Ach, Herr, Jehova! Siehe, du hast die Himmel und die Erde gemacht durch deine große Kraft und durch deinen ausgestreckten Arm: kein Ding ist dir unmöglich [Eig. zu wunderbar; ]
18 Thou shewest mercie vnto thousands, and recompensest the iniquitie of the fathers into the bosome of their children after them: O God the great and mightie, whose Name is ye Lord of hostes,
der du Güte übst an Tausenden, und die Ungerechtigkeit [O. Missetat, Schuld] der Väter vergiltst in den Busen ihrer Kinder nach ihnen; du großer, mächtiger Gott [El, ] dessen Name Jehova der Heerscharen ist,
19 Great in counsell, and mightie in worke, (for thine eyes are open vpon all the wayes of ye sonnes of men, to giue to euery one according to his wayes, and according to the fruite of his workes)
groß an Rat und mächtig an Tat; du, dessen Augen über alle Wege der Menschenkinder offen sind, um einem jeden zu geben nach seinen Wegen und nach der Frucht seiner Handlungen;
20 Which hast set signes and wonders in the land of Egypt vnto this day, and in Israel, and among all men, and hast made thee a Name, as appeareth this day,
der du Zeichen und Wunder getan im Lande Ägypten und bis auf diesen Tag, sowohl an Israel als auch an anderen Menschen, und dir einen Namen gemacht hast, wie es an diesem Tage ist.
21 And hast brought thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signes, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, with a stretched out arme, and with great terrour,
Und du hast dein Volk Israel aus dem Lande Ägypten herausgeführt mit Zeichen und mit Wundern und mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem Arm und mit großem Schrecken;
22 And hast giuen them this land, which thou diddest sweare to their fathers to giue them, euen a land, that floweth with milke and hony,
und hast ihnen dieses Land gegeben, welches du ihren Vätern geschworen hattest ihnen zu geben, ein Land, das von Milch und Honig fließt.
23 And they came in, and possessed it, but they obeyed not thy voyce, neither walked in thy Law: all that thou commaundedst them to doe, they haue not done: therefore thou hast caused this whole plague to come vpon them.
Und sie sind hineingekommen und haben es in Besitz genommen; aber sie hörten nicht auf deine Stimme und wandelten nicht in deinem Gesetz: sie haben nichts getan von allem, was du ihnen zu tun geboten hattest. Da hast du ihnen all dieses Unglück widerfahren lassen.
24 Beholde, the mounts, they are come into the citie to take it, and the citie is giuen into the hande of the Caldeans, that fight against it by meanes of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence, and what thou hast spoken, is come to passe, and beholde, thou seest it.
Siehe, die Wälle reichen bis an die Stadt, um sie einzunehmen; und durch das Schwert und den Hunger und durch die Pest ist die Stadt in die Hand der Chaldäer gegeben, welche wider sie streiten. Und was du geredet hast, ist geschehen; und siehe, du siehst es.
25 And thou hast sayd vnto me, O Lord God, Bye vnto thee the fielde for siluer, and take witnesses: for the citie shall be giuen into the hand of the Caldeans.
Und doch hast du zu mir gesprochen, Herr, Jehova: Kaufe dir das Feld für Geld und nimm Zeugen; -und die Stadt ist ja in die Hand der Chaldäer gegeben!
26 Then came the worde of the Lord vnto Ieremiah, saying,
Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu Jeremia also:
27 Beholde, I am the LORD GOD of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Siehe, ich bin Jehova, der Gott alles Fleisches; sollte mir irgend ein Ding unmöglich [Eig. zu wunderbar] sein?
28 Therefore thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I wil giue this citie into the hand of the Caldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar, King of Babel, and he shall take it.
Darum, so spricht Jehova: Siehe, ich gebe diese Stadt in die Hand der Chaldäer und in die Hand Nebukadrezars, des Königs von Babel, daß er sie einnehme.
29 And the Caldeans shall come and fight against this citie, and set fire on this citie and burne it, with the houses, vpon whose rouses they haue offred incense vnto Baal, and powred drinke offrings vnto other gods, to prouoke me vnto anger.
Und die Chaldäer, die wider diese Stadt streiten, werden hineinkommen und werden diese Stadt mit Feuer anzünden und sie verbrennen, samt den Häusern, auf deren Dächern sie dem Baal geräuchert und anderen Göttern Trankopfer gespendet haben, um mich zu reizen.
30 For the children of Israel, and the children of Iudah haue surely done euill before me from their youth: for the children of Israel haue surely prouoked me to anger with the workes of their hands, saith the Lord.
Denn die Kinder Israel und die Kinder Juda taten von ihrer Jugend an nur, was böse ist in meinen Augen; denn die Kinder Israel haben mich nur gereizt durch das Werk ihrer Hände, spricht Jehova.
31 Therefore this citie hath bene vnto me as a prouocation of mine anger, and of my wrath, from the day, that they built it, euen vnto this day, that I should remoue it out of my sight,
Denn zu meinem Zorne und zu meinem Grimme ist mir diese Stadt gewesen von dem Tage an, da man sie gebaut hat, bis auf diesen Tag, auf daß ich sie von meinem Angesicht hinwegtäte:
32 Because of all the euill of the children of Israel, and of the children of Iudah, which they haue done to prouoke mee to anger, euen they, their Kings, their Princes, their Priests, and their Prophets, and the men of Iudah, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem.
Wegen all der Bosheit der Kinder Israel und der Kinder Juda, die sie verübt haben, um mich zu reizen, sie, ihre Könige, ihre Fürsten, ihre Priester und ihre Propheten, und die Männer von Juda und die Bewohner von Jerusalem.
33 And they haue turned vnto me the backe and not the face: though I taught them rising vp earely, and instructing them, yet they were not obedient to receiue doctrine,
Und sie haben mir den Rücken zugekehrt und nicht das Angesicht. Und ob ich sie auch lehrte, früh mich aufmachend und lehrend, so hörten sie doch nicht, um Zucht anzunehmen.
34 But they set their abominations in ye house (whereupon my Name was called) to defile it,
Und sie haben ihre Scheusale in das Haus gesetzt, welches nach meinem Namen genannt ist, um es zu verunreinigen.
35 And they built the hie places of Baal, which are in the valley of Ben-hinnom, to cause their sonnes and their daughters to passe through the fire vnto Molech, which I commanded them not, neither came it into my minde, that they should doe such abomination, to cause Iudah to sinne.
Und sie haben die Höhen des Baal gebaut, welche im Tale des Sohnes Hinnoms sind, um ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter dem Moloch [Eig. Molech] durch das Feuer gehen zu lassen, -was ich nicht geboten habe und mir nicht in den Sinn gekommen ist-um diesen Greuel zu verüben, damit sie Juda sündigen machten.
36 And nowe therefore, thus hath the Lord God of Israel spoken, concerning this citie, whereof ye say, It shalbe deliuered into the hand of the King of Babel by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence,
Und darum spricht Jehova, der Gott Israels, nun also betreffs dieser Stadt, von welcher ihr saget: sie ist in die Hand des Königs von Babel gegeben durch das Schwert und durch den Hunger und durch die Pest:
37 Beholde, I will gather them out of all countreys, wherein I haue scattered them in mine anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation, and I wil bring them againe vnto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely.
Siehe, ich werde sie aus all den Ländern sammeln, wohin ich sie vertrieben haben werde in meinem Zorn und in meinem Grimm, und in großer Entrüstung [Eig. Wut; ] und ich werde sie an diesen Ort zurückbringen und sie in Sicherheit wohnen lassen.
38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Und sie werden mein Volk, und ich werde ihr Gott sein.
39 And I wil giue them one heart and one way that they may feare me for euer for ye wealth of them, and of their children after them.
Und ich werde ihnen ein Herz und einen Weg geben, damit sie mich fürchten alle Tage, ihnen und ihren Kindern nach ihnen zum Guten.
40 And I wil make an euerlasting couenant with them, that I wil neuer turne away from them to doe them good, but I wil put my feare in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
Und ich werde einen ewigen Bund mit ihnen machen, daß ich nicht von ihnen lassen [W. mich nicht hinter ihnen zurückziehen] werde, ihnen wohlzutun; und ich werde meine Furcht in ihr Herz legen, damit sie nicht von mir abweichen.
41 Yea, I wil delite in them to do them good, and I wil plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart, and with all my soule.
Und ich werde mich über sie freuen, ihnen wohlzutun, und werde sie in diesem Lande pflanzen in Wahrheit [O. Treue] mit meinem ganzen Herzen und mit meiner ganzen Seele.
42 For thus sayth the Lord, Like as I haue brought all this great plague vpon this people, so wil I bring vpon them all the good that I haue promised them.
Denn so spricht Jehova: Gleichwie ich über dieses Volk all dieses große Unglück gebracht habe, also will ich über sie all das Gute bringen, das ich über sie rede.
43 And the fields shalbe possessed in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast, and shalbe giuen into the hand of the Caldeans.
Und es sollen Felder gekauft werden in diesem Lande, von welchem ihr saget: Es ist öde, ohne Menschen und ohne Vieh, es ist in die Hand der Chaldäer gegeben.
44 Men shall buy fields for siluer, and make writings and seale them, and take witnesses in the land of Beniamin, and round about Ierusalem, and in the cities of Iudah, and in the cities of the mountaines, and in the cities of the plaine, and in the cities of the South: for I wil cause their captiuitie to returne, saith the Lord.
Man wird Felder um Geld kaufen und Kaufbriefe schreiben [W. und in den Brief schreiben] und sie versiegeln und Zeugen nehmen im Lande Benjamin und in den Umgebungen von Jerusalem und in den Städten Judas, sowohl in den Städten des Gebirges als auch in den Städten der Niederung und in den Städten des Südens. Denn ich werde ihre Gefangenschaft wenden, spricht Jehova.
