< Isaiah 30 >
1 Wo to the rebellious children, sayth the Lord, that take counsell, but not of me, and couer with a couering, but not by my spirit, that they may lay sinne vpon sinne:
Yehowa be, “Baba na vi sẽto siwo dea aɖaŋu hewɔa nu siwo nyemeɖo na wo o. Woblaa nu nye Gbɔgbɔ manɔmee eye wolia kɔ nu vɔ̃ ɖe nu vɔ̃ dzi!
2 Which walke forth to goe downe into Egypt (and haue not asked at my mouth) to strengthen them selues with the strength of Pharaoh, and trust in the shadowe of Egypt.
Ame siwo mebia gbem hafi yi Egipte o, eye wosi Farao tso hebia tso esi be wòanye woƒe akpoxɔnu ne woabe ɖe Egipte ƒe vɔvɔ̃li te.
3 But the strength of Pharaoh shalbe your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
Ke Farao ƒe akpoxɔnunyenye na mi atrɔ zu ŋukpe, eye Egipte ƒe vɔvɔlitenɔnɔ ahe vlododo vɛ na mi.
4 For his princes were at Zoan, and his Ambassadours came vnto Hanes.
Togbɔ be woƒe amegãwo le keke Zoan, eye woƒe ame dɔdɔwo ɖo Hanes ke hã la,
5 They shalbe all ashamed of the people that cannot profite them, nor helpe nor doe them good, but shalbe a shame and also a reproche.
ŋu akpe ame sia ame, elabena ame si wosi tso la mate ŋu aɖewo o. Womaxɔ na wo alo ana kpekpeɖeŋu wo o, negbe ŋukpe kple vlododo ko woakpɔ.”
6 The burden of the beasts of the South, in a land of trouble and anguish, from whence shall come the yong and olde lyon, the viper and fierie flying serpent against them that shall beare their riches vpon the shoulders of the coltes, and their treasures vpon the bounches of the camels, to a people that cannot profite.
Gbedeasi tso gbemelã siwo le gbegbe la ŋuti. Le anyigba si dzi fukpekpe kple xaxa le, afi si dzatatsu kple dzatanɔ, fli kple da toaʋalawo le la, afi mae ame dɔdɔwo tsɔa woƒe nu xɔasiwo ɖoa tedziwo dzi kple woƒe kesinɔnuwo ɖoa kposɔwo dzi yina na dukɔ si mele ɖeke me o,
7 For the Egyptians are vanitie, and they shall helpe in vaine. Therefore haue I cried vnto her, Their strength is to sit still.
na Egipte dukɔ si ŋu ŋutete aɖeke mele o. Eya ta meyɔe be Rahab, Wɔnavɔleŋutɔ.
8 Now go, and write it before them in a table, and note it in a booke that it may be for the last day for euer and euer:
Azɔ la, yi nàŋlɔe ɖe nuŋlɔkpe dzi na wo, ŋlɔe ɖe agbalẽ me be wòanye ɖaseɖiɖi tegbee hena ŋkeke siwo gbɔna.
9 That it is a rebellious people, lying children, and children that would not heare the law of the Lord.
Ame siawo nye aglãdzelawo, vi alakpatɔwo, vi siwo mele klalo be yewoaɖo to Yehowa ƒe nufiamewo o.
10 Which say vnto the Seers, See not: and to the Prophets, Prophecie not vnto vs right things: but speake flattering things vnto vs: prophecie errours.
Wogblɔ na nukpɔlawo be, “Migakpɔ ŋutega azɔ o!” eye na nyagblɔɖilawo be, “Migagblɔ gbedeasi si le eteƒe la na mí o. Migblɔ nya viviwo na mí. Migblɔ alakpanyawo ɖi.
11 Depart out of the way: go aside out of the path: cause the holy one of Israel to cease from vs.
Mite ɖa le mɔ sia dzi. Midzo le teƒe sia, eye midzudzɔ ŋɔdzidodo na mí kple Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la!”
12 Therefoe thus saith the holy one of Israel, Because you haue cast off this worde, and trust in violence, and wickednes, and stay thereupon,
Eya ta ale, Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la gblɔe nye esi, “Esi miegbe gbedeasi sia heɖo ŋu ɖe ŋutasesẽ ŋu, eye mieku ɖe beble ŋuti ta la,
13 Therefore this iniquitie shalbe vnto you as a breach that falleth, or a swelling in an hie wall, whose breaking commeth suddenly in a moment.
miaƒe nu vɔ̃ sia azu abe gli kɔkɔ si fe hele mumum, eye kasia wòmu zi ɖeka gbloo la ene.
14 And the breaking thereof is like the breaking of a potters pot, which is broken without pitie, and in the breaking thereof is not found a sheard to take fire out of the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.
Afli kakɛkakɛ abe ze si ge hegbã gudugudu la ene. Afli ale gbegbe be, womakpɔ kakɛ aɖeke si alolo woatsɔ aɖe dzo le mlekpui me alo aku tsii le zɔ me o.”
15 For thus sayd the Lord God, the Holy one of Israel, In rest and quietnes shall ye be saued: in quietnes and in confidence shall be your strength, but ye would not.
Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa, Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la gblɔe nye esi, “Dzimetɔtrɔ kple anyinɔnɔ kpoo mee miaƒe ɖeɖe le, eye ɖoɖoezizi kple ŋuɖoɖo ɖe eŋu mee miaƒe ŋusẽ le. Ke miegbe wo katã.
16 For ye haue sayd, No, but we wil flee away vpon horses. Therefore shall ye flee. We will ride vpon the swiftest. Therefore shall your persecuters be swifter.
Miegblɔ be, ‘Kpao, míado sɔwo asi’, eya ta miasi! ‘Miegblɔ be miado sɔ ɖeablawo asi adzo.’ Eya ta mia yometilawo hã ado sɔ ɖiduwo akplɔ mi ɖo.
17 A thousand as one shall flee at the rebuke of one: at the rebuke of fiue shall ye flee, till ye be left as a ship maste vpon the top of a mountaine, and as a beaken vpon an hill.
Ne woƒe ame ɖeka pɛ blu la miaƒe ame akpe ɖeka asi le enu, eye ne woƒe ame atɔ̃ blu la, mi katã miasi va se ɖe esime miasusɔ abe aflagati le to tame kple aflaga le togbɛ dzi ene.”
18 Yet therefore will the Lord waite, that he may haue mercy vpon you, and therefore wil he be exalted, that hee may haue compassion vpon you: for the Lord is the God of iudgement. Blessed are all they that waite for him.
Ke hã la, Yehowa le lalam vevie be yeave mia nu; etso be yeakpɔ nublanui na mi, elabena Yehowa nye Mawu si drɔ̃a ʋɔnu dzɔdzɔe. Woayra ame siwo katã kpɔa eƒe asinu.
19 Surely a people shall dwell in Zion, and in Ierusalem: thou shalt weepe no more: he wil certainly haue mercy vpon thee at the voyce of thy crye: when he heareth thee, he wil answere thee.
O! Mi Zion nɔlawo, ame siwo le Yerusalem, miagafa avi azɔ o. Ave mia nu ne miefa avi be wòakpe ɖe mia ŋu. Ne enya see ko la, aɖo to mi.
20 And when the Lord hath giuen you the bread of aduersitie, and the water of affliction, thy raine shalbe no more kept backe, but thine eyes shall see thy raine.
Togbɔ be Aƒetɔ la tsɔ abolo na mi le hiã me, kple tsi na mi le xaxa me hã la, miaƒe nufialawo magabe azɔ o, ke boŋ miakpɔ wo kple miaƒe ŋkuwo.
21 And thine eares shall heare a worde behind thee, saying, This is the way, walke ye in it, when thou turnest to the right hand, and when thou turnest to the left.
Mietrɔ ɖe ɖusime o, mietrɔ ɖe miame o, miase nya siawo le miaƒe megbe be, “Esiae nye mɔ la, mizɔ edzi.”
22 And ye shall pollute the couering of the images of siluer, and the riche ornament of thine images of golde, and cast them away as a menstruous cloth, and thou shalt say vnto it, Get thee hence.
Ekema miado gu miaƒe legba siwo ŋu wofa klosalo ɖo kple miaƒe aklamakpakpɛ siwo ŋu wofa sika ɖo. Miatsɔ wo aƒu gbe abe gbelégodoe ene ahagblɔ ɖe wo ŋu be, “Mite yi xaa.”
23 Then shall hee giue raine vnto thy seede, when thou shalt sowe the ground, and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shalbe fat and as oyle: in that day shall thy cattell be fed in large pastures.
Adɔ tsidzadza ɖa be wòade tsi nuku siwo mieƒã ɖe agble me. Nuɖuɖu si ado tso miaƒe agble me la anyo, eye wòasɔ gbɔ fũu. Le ŋkeke ma dzi la, wò nyihawo aɖu gbe le lãnyiƒe kekewo.
24 The oxen also and the yong asses, that till the ground, shall eate cleane prouender, which is winowed with the shoouel and with the fanne.
Nyitsu kple tedzi siwo nètsɔna ŋlɔa agblee la, aɖu gbe siwo wotsɔ nu tɔxɛwo tsakae, eye wotsɔ sofi kple gaflo dzoboe.
25 And vpon euery hie mountaine, and vpon euery hie hill shall there be riuers and streames of waters, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers shall fall.
Le ŋkeke si dzi woawu ame geɖewo la, gbetakpɔxɔ kɔkɔwo amu; tɔʋumetsi asi tso to kɔkɔ ɖe sia ɖe kple togbɛ kɔkɔ ɖe sia ɖe dzi.
26 Moreouer, the light of the moone shall be as the light of the sunne, and the light of the sunne shalbe seuen folde, and like the light of seuen dayes in the day that the Lord shall binde vp the breach of his people, and heale the stroke of their wound.
Ɣleti aklẽ abe ɣe ene; Ɣe ƒe keklẽ adzi ɖe edzi zi adre, eye wòanɔ abe ŋkeke adre ƒe kekeli ene, ne Yehowa bla abi na eƒe dukɔ la, eye wòwu abi si wòde wo ŋu la na wo.
27 Beholde, the Name of the Lord commeth from farre, his face is burning, and the burden thereof is heauy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is as a deuouring fire.
Kpɔ ɖa, Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ tso adzɔge gbɔna ɖa, eƒe dziku le bibim, eye lilikpo dodo ƒo xlãe. Elé ŋɔdzi ɖe nu, eye eƒe aɖe nye dzobinu.
28 And his spirit is as a riuer that ouerfloweth vp to the necke: it deuideth asunder, to fanne the nations with the fanne of vanitie, and there shall be a bridle to cause them to erre in the chawes of the people.
Eƒe ŋɔtimegbɔgbɔ le sisim abe tɔʋu si ɖɔ va se ɖe ve ke ene. Etsraa dukɔwo le gbegblẽ ƒe tsranui me, eye wòtsɔ numega de nu me na dukɔwo hekplɔa wo tranae.
29 But there shall be a song vnto you as in the night, when solemne feast is kept: and gladnes of heart, as he that commeth with a pipe to goe vnto the mount of the Lord, to the mightie one of Israel.
Ekema miadzi ha le zã me abe ŋkekenyui aɖe ɖum miele ene. Miaƒe dziwo akpɔ dzidzɔ abe ale si wònɔna ne wole dze kum yina ɖe Yehowa ƒe to la dzi kple Israel ƒe Agakpe la gbɔ ene.
30 And the Lord shall cause his glorious voyce to be heard, and shall declare the lighting downe of his arme with the anger of his countenance, and flame of a deuouring fire, with scattering and tempest, and hailestones.
Yehowa ana be amewo nase eƒe gãnyenye ƒe gbe, eye wòana woakpɔ eƒe alɔ wòaɖiɖi ɖe anyi kple dɔmedzoe helĩhelĩ, dzo si biaa nu, ahomya, tsidzadza sesẽ kple tsikpe.
31 For with the voyce of the Lord shall Asshur be destroyed, which smote with the rod.
Yehowa ƒe gbe akaka Asiria ʋayaʋaya. Atsɔ eƒe fiatikplɔ axlã ɖe wo, woamu adze anyi.
32 And in euery place that ye staffe shall passe, it shall cleaue fast, which the Lord shall lay vpon him with tabrets and harpes: and with battels, and lifting vp of hands shall he fight against it.
Zi ale si Yehowa tsɔ eƒe toheti le Asiria ƒomii la, zi nenema kee axatsɛwo kple kasaŋkuwo anɔ ɖiɖim ne etsɔ eƒe alɔ sesẽ la le aʋa wɔm kplii le aʋagbedzi.
33 For Tophet is prepared of olde: it is euen prepared for the King: hee hath made it deepe and large: the burning thereof is fire and much wood: the breath of the Lord, like a riuer of brimstone, doeth kindle it.
Wodzra afi si woatɔ dzo Tofet le la da ɖi xoxo. Wodzrae ɖo ɖi na fia la hã. Wowɔ eƒe dzoʋe la wògoglo hekeke. Dzo kple nake bɔ ɖe eme. Yehowa ƒe Gbɔgbɔ si le sisim abe aŋɔtɔʋu ene lae atɔ dzoe.
