Isaiah 15
1 The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.
Pezo de Moab. Certamente de noite foi destruida Ar de Moab, e foi desfeita: certamente de noite foi destruida Kir de Moab, e foi desfeita.
2 He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.
Vae subindo a Bayith, e a Dibon, aos logares altos, a chorar: por Nebo e por Medeba Moab uivará; sobre todas as suas cabeças haverá calva, e toda a barba será rapada.
3 In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.
Cingiram-se de saccos nas suas ruas: nos seus terraços e nas suas praças todos andam uivando, e veem descendo e chorando.
4 And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.
Assim Hesbon como Eleale, andam gritando, até Jahas se ouve a sua voz; pelo que os armados de Moab fazem grande grita, a sua alma lhes será penosa.
5 Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.
O meu coração dá gritos por Moab: fugiram os seus fugitivos até Zoar, como a novilha de tres annos: porque vae subindo com choro pela subida de Luhith, porque no caminho de Horonaim levantam um lastimoso pranto.
6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.
Porque as aguas de Nimrim serão uma pura assolação; porque já seccou o feno, pereceu a herva, e não ha verdura alguma.
7 Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.
Pelo que a abundancia que ajuntaram, e o de mais que guardaram, ao ribeiro dos salgueiros o levaram.
8 For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,
Porque o pranto rodeará aos limites de Moab; até Eglaim chegará o seu uivo, e ainda até Beerelim chegará o seu uivo
9 Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.
Porquanto as aguas de Dimon estão cheias de sangue, porque ainda accrescentarei a Dimon os sobejos; a saber, leões contra aquelles que escaparem de Moab, como tambem contra as reliquias da terra.
