Ezra 7
1 Now after these things, in the reigne of Artahshashte King of Persia, was Ezra the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Hilkiah,
Pagkahuman niini, sa panahon sa paghari ni Artajerjes nga hari sa Persia, miabot si Esdras gikan sa Babilonia. Ang mga katigulangan ni Esdras mao si Seraias, si Asarias, si Hilkias,
2 The sonne of Shallum, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Ahitub,
si Salum, si Sadoc, si Ahitub,
3 The sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Meraioth,
si Amarias, si Asarias, si Merayot,
4 The sonne of Zeraiah, the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Bukki,
si Serahias, si Usi, si Buki,
5 The sonne of Abishua, the sonne of Phinehas, the sonne of Eleazar, the sonne of Aaron, the chiefe Priest.
si Abisue, si Pinehas, ug si Eleasar, nga mao ang anak ni Aaron ang labaw nga pari.
6 This Ezra came vp from Babel, and was a Scribe prompt in the Lawe of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had giuen, and the King gaue him all his request according to the hande of the Lord his God which was vpon him.
Miabot si Esdras gikan sa Babilonia ug usa siya ka batid nga eskriba sa balaod ni Moises nga gihatag ni Yahweh, ang Dios sa Israel. Gihatagan siya sa hari sa bisan unsang mga butang nga iyang gipangayo sanglit ang kamot ni Yahweh nag-uban man kaniya.
7 And there went vp certaine of the children of Israel, and of the Priests, and the Leuites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims vnto Ierusalem, in the seuenth yere of King Artahshashte.
Ang pipila sa mga kaliwat sa Israel ug ang mga pari, mga levita, mga mang-aawit sa templo, ang mga tigbantay sa ganghaan, ug kadtong mga gitahasan nga moalagad sa templo mikuyog usab sa pagtungas ngadto sa Jerusalem sa ikapito nga tuig ni Haring Artajerjes.
8 And hee came to Ierusalem in the fift moneth, which was in the seuenth yeere of the King.
Miabot siya sa Jerusalem sa ikalimang bulan sa samang tuig.
9 For vpon the first day of the first moneth began he to goe vp from Babel, and on the first day of the fift moneth came he to Ierusalem, according to the good hande of his God that was vpon him.
Mibiya siya sa Babilonia sa unang adlaw sa unang bulan. Unang adlaw kadto sa ikalimang bulan nga miabot siya sa Jerusalem, sanglit ang maayong kamot sa Dios nag-uban man kaniya.
10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seeke the Lawe of the Lord, and to doe it, and to teach the precepts and iudgements in Israel.
Gihatag ni Esdras ang iyang kasingkasing diha sa pagtuon, sa pagkinabuhi, ug sa pagtudlo sa balaod ug sa mga kasugoan sa balaod ni Yahweh.
11 And this is the copie of the letter that King Artahshashte gaue vnto Ezra the Priest and scribe, euen a writer of the words of the commadements of ye Lord, and of his statutes ouer Israel.
Mao kini ang kasugoan nga gihatag ni Haring Artajerjes ngadto kang Esdras ang pari ug eskriba sa mga kasugoan ni Yahweh ug sa mga balaod alang sa Israel:
12 ARTAHSHASHTE King of Kings to Ezra the Priest and perfite scribe of the Lawe of the God of heauen, and to Cheeneth.
“Ang hari sa mga hari nga si Artajerjes, ngadto kang Esdras nga pari, ang eskriba sa balaod sa Dios sa langit:
13 I haue giuen commandement, that euery one, that is willing in my kingdome of the people of Israel, and of the Priestes, and Leuites to goe to Ierusalem with thee, shall goe.
Nagmando ako nga si bisan kinsa nga gikan sa Israel nga ania sa akong gingharian uban sa ilang mga pari ug sa mga Levita nga nagtinguha sa pag-adto sa Jerusalem, makauban kanimo.
14 Therefore art thou sent of the King and his seuen counsellers, to enquire in Iudah and Ierusalem, according to the lawe of thy God, which is in thine hand,
Ako, ang hari, ug ang akong pito ka mga magtatambag magpalakaw kaninyong tanan aron sa pagsusi bahin sa Juda ug sa Jerusalem sumala sa inyong nasabtan nga mga balaod sa Dios,
15 And to carry the siluer and the gold, which the King and his cousellers willingly offer vnto the God of Israel (whose habitation is in Ierusalem)
ug aron dad-on ang plata ug bulawan nga gihatag nila nga walay bayad ngadto sa Dios sa Israel didto sa Jerusalem, nga iyang puloy-anan.
16 And all the siluer and gold that thou canst finde in all the prouince of Babel, with the free offring of the people, and that which the Priestes offer willingly to the house of their God which is in Ierusalem,
Ihatag nga walay bayad ang tanang plata ug bulawan nga gihatag sa tanang taga-Babilonia uban sa kinabubut-ong gihalad sa katawhan ug sa mga pari alang sa balay sa Dios sa Jerusalem.
17 That thou mayest bye speedily with this siluer, bullocks, rammes, lambes, with their meate offrings and their drinke offrings: and thou shalt offer them vpon the altar of the house of your God, which is in Ierusalem.
Busa pagpalit ug mga torong baka, mga torong karnero ug mga nating karnero ug trigo ug mga halad ilimnon. Ihalad kini sa halaran nga anaa sa sulod sa balay sa inyong Dios sa Jerusalem.
18 And whatsoeuer it pleaseth thee and thy brethren to do with the rest of the siluer, and gold, doe ye it according to the will of your God.
Bahin sa nahibilin nga plata ug bulawan buhata ang bisan unsa nga makaayo alang kanimo ug sa imong mga kaigsoonan, aron sa pagpahimuot sa inyong Dios.
19 And the vessels that are giuen thee for the seruice of the house of thy God, those deliuer thou before God in Ierusalem.
Ibutang ang mga butang nga gihatag kanimo nga walay bayad diha sa iyang atubangan alang sa pag-alagad sa balay sa inyong Dios sa Jerusalem.
20 And the residue that shall be needeful for the house of thy God, which shall be meete for thee to bestowe, thou shalt bestowe it out of the Kings treasure house,
Bisan unsa pa nga kinahanglanon sa balay sa inyong Dios nga inyong gikinahanglan, kuhaa kini nga kantidad gikan sa akong panudlanan sa bahandi.
21 And I King Artahshashte haue giuen commandemet to all the treasurers which are beyond the Riuer, that whatsoeuer Ezra the Priest and Scribe of the Law of the God of heauen shall require of you, that it be done incontinently,
Ako, si Haring Artajerjes, naghimo ug kasugoan ngadto sa tanang mga tinugyanan sa panudlanan sa unahan sa Suba, nga ihatag ang bisan unsang butang nga pangayoon ni Esdras gikan kaninyo,
22 Vnto an hundreth talents of siluer, vnto an hundreth measures of wheate, and vnto an hundreth baths of wine, and vnto an hundreth baths of oyle, and salt without writing.
kutob sa 100 ka talents nga plata, 100 ka cors nga trigo, 100 ka baths nga bino, ug 100 ka baths nga lana, ug asin nga walay kinutoban.
23 Whatsoeuer is by the commandement of the God of heauen, let it be done speedily for the house of the God of heauen: for why should he be wroth against the realme of the King, and his children?
Ang bisan unsa nga kasugoan nga naggikan sa Dios sa Langit, buhaton kini uban ang pagkamatinud-anon alang sa iyang balay. Kay nganong kinahanglan man nga ipahamtang ang iyang kapungot nganhi sa akong gingharian ug sa akong mga anak nga lalaki?
24 And we certifie you, that vpon any of the Priestes, Leuites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or Ministers in this house of God, there shall no gouernour laye vpon them tolle, tribute nor custome.
Gipahibalo namo kanila ang mahitungod kaninyo nga dili magkuha ug bisan unsang bayad o buhis sa kang bisan kinsa nga mga pari, mga Levita, mga manunugtog, mga tigbantay sa templo, o sa mga tawo nga gitahasan nga mag-alagad sa templo ug sa mga alagad sa balay sa Dios.
25 And thou Ezra (after the wisedome of thy God, that is in thine hand) set iudges and arbiters, which may iudge all the people that is beyond the Riuer, euen all that knowe the Lawe of thy God, and teach ye them that know it not.
Esdras, pinaagi sa kaalam nga gihatag sa Dios kanimo, kinahanglan magpili ka ug mga maghuhukom ug mga maalamong tawo nga mag-alagad sa tanang katawhan sa unahan sa Suba, ug mag-alagad kang bisan kinsa nga nasayod sa balaod sa imong Dios. Kinahanglan tudloan mo usab kadtong mga wala masayod sa balaod.
26 And whosoeuer will not doe the Lawe of thy God, and the Kings lawe, let him haue iudgement without delay, whether it be vnto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
Siloti ang bisan kinsa nga dili hingpit nga motuman sa mga balaod sa Dios ug sa mga balaod sa hari, pinaagi sa kamatayon, pagpahawa, pagbawi sa ilang mga kabtangan, o sa pagbilanggo.”
27 Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which so hath put in the Kings heart, to beautifie the house of the Lord that is in Ierusalem,
Miingon si Esdras, “Dalaygon si Yahweh, ang Dios sa among mga katigulangan, nga nagpahiluna niining tanan sa kasingkasing sa hari aron pagpatahom sa balay ni Yahweh sa Jerusalem,
28 And hath enclined mercy toward me, before the King and his counsellers, and before all the Kings mightie Princes: and I was comforted by the hand of the Lord my God which was vpon me, and I gathered the chiefe of Israel to goe vp with me.
ug siya mao ang naghatag sa matinud-anong kasabotan nganhi kanako sa atubangan sa hari, sa iyang mga magtatambag, ug sa tanan niyang mga bantogang opisyal. Gilig-on ako pinaagi sa tabang ni Yahweh nga akong Dios, ug gitigom ko ang mga pangulo gikan sa Israel aron mokuyog kanako.”
