Exodus 30
1 Fvrthermore thou shalt make an altar for sweete perfume, of Shittim wood thou shalt make it.
Tu feras un autel pour faire fumer l'encens, tu le feras de bois d'acacia;
2 The length therof a cubite and the breadth thereof a cubite (it shalbe foure square) and the height thereof two cubites: the hornes thereof shalbe of the same,
sa longueur sera d'une coudée, et sa largeur d'une coudée; il sera carré, et sa hauteur sera de deux coudées; ses cornes feront corps avec lui.
3 And thou shalt ouerlay it with fine golde, both the toppe therof and the sides thereof round about, and his hornes: also thou shalt make vnto it a crowne of gold round about.
Tu le revêtiras d'or pur, le dessus, les côtés tout autour et les cornes, et tu y feras une guirlande d'or tout autour.
4 Besides this thou shalt make vnder this crowne two golden rings on either side: euen on euery side shalt thou make them, that they may be as places for the barres to beare it withall.
Tu feras pour lui deux anneaux d'or, au-dessous de la guirlande, sur ses deux arêtes: tu les feras aux deux côtés, pour recevoir les barres qui serviront à le porter.
5 The which barres thou shalt make of Shittim wood, and shalt couer them with golde.
Tu feras les barres de bois d'acacia, et tu les revêtiras d'or.
6 After thou shalt set it before the vaile, that is neere the Arke of Testimonie, before the Merciseate that is vpon the Testimonie, where I will appoynt with thee.
Tu placeras l'autel en face du voile qui est devant l'arche du témoignage, en face du propitiatoire qui est sur le témoignage, là où je me rencontrerai avec toi.
7 And Aaron shall burne thereon sweete incense euery morning: when hee dresseth the lampes thereof, shall he burne it.
Aaron y fera fumer l'encens; il le fera fumer chaque matin, lorsqu'il préparera les lampes,
8 Likewise at eue, when Aaron setteth vp the lampes thereof, he shall burne incense: this perfume shalbe perpetually before ye Lord, throughout your generations.
et il le fera fumer entre les deux soirs, lorsqu'Aaron mettra les lampes sur le chandelier. Encens perpétuel devant Yahweh, parmi vos descendants.
9 Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor offring, neither powre any drinke offring thereon.
Vous n'offrirez sur l'autel ni parfum profane, ni holocauste, ni offrande, et vous n'y répandrez pas de libation.
10 And Aaron shall make reconciliation vpon the hornes of it once in a yere with the blood of the sinne offring in the day of reconciliation: once in the yeere shall hee make reconciliation vpon it throughout your generations: this is most holy vnto the Lord.
Aaron fera l'expiation sur les cornes de l'autel une fois chaque année; avec le sang de la victime expiatoire, il y fera l'expiation une fois l'an parmi vos descendants. Cet autel sera très saint à Yahweh. "
11 Afterward the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
12 When thou takest the summe of the children of Israel after their nomber, then they shall giue euery man a redemption of his life vnto the Lord, when thou tellest them, that there bee no plague among the when thou countest them.
" Quand tu compteras les enfants d'Israël pour en faire le recensement, ils donneront chacun à Yahweh une rançon pour leur âme, lorsqu'on les recensera, afin qu'ils ne soient frappés d'aucun fléau lors de leur recensement.
13 This shall euery man giue, that goeth into the nomber, halfe a shekel, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie: (a shekel is twentie gerahs) the halfe shekel shalbe an offring to the Lord.
Voici ce que donneront tous ceux qui seront compris dans le dénombrement: un demi-sicle, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, qui est de vingt guéras; un demi-sicle sera le don levé pour Yahweh.
14 All that are nombred from twentie yeere olde and aboue, shall giue an offring to the Lord.
Tout homme compris dans le dénombrement, depuis l'âge de vingt ans et au-dessus, acquittera la contribution de Yahweh.
15 The rich shall not passe, and the poore shall not diminish from halfe a shekel, when ye shall giue an offring vnto the Lord, for the redemption of your liues.
Le riche ne paiera pas plus, et le pauvre ne paiera pas moins d'un demi-sicle, pour acquitter la contribution de Yahweh, comme rançon de vos âmes.
16 So thou shalt take the money of the redemption of the children of Israel, and shalt put it vnto the vse of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, that it may be a memoriall vnto the children of Israel before the Lord for the redemption of your liues.
Tu recevras des enfants d'Israël l'argent de la rançon, et tu l'appliqueras au service de la tente de réunion; il sera pour les enfants d'Israël un titre devant Yahweh pour la rançon de leurs âmes. "
17 Also the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Yahweh parla à Moïse en disant:
18 Thou shalt also make a lauer of brasse, and his foote of brasse to wash, and shalt put it betweene the Tabernacle of the Congregation and the Altar, and shalt put water therein.
" Tu feras une cuve d'airain, avec sa base d'airain, pour les ablutions; tu la placeras entre la tente de réunion et l'autel, et tu y mettras de l'eau,
19 For Aaron and his sonnes shall wash their hands and their feete thereat.
et Aaron et ses fils en prendront pour se laver les mains et les pieds.
20 When they go into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, or when they goe vnto the Altar to minister and to make the perfume of ye burnt offring to the Lord, they shall wash themselues with water, lest they die.
Ils se laveront avec cette eau, afin qu'ils ne meurent point, et lorsqu'ils entreront dans la tente de réunion, et lorsqu'ils s'approcheront de l'autel pour faire le service, pour faire fumer un sacrifice à Yahweh.
21 So they shall wash their handes and their feete that they die not: and this shall be to them an ordinance for euer, both vnto him and to his seede throughout their generations.
Ils se laveront les pieds et les mains, et ils ne mourront pas. Ce sera une loi perpétuelle pour eux, pour Aaron et sa postérité d'âge en âge. "
22 Also the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
23 Take thou also vnto thee, principall spices of the most pure myrrhe fiue hundreth shekels, of sweete cinamon halfe so much, that is, two hundreth and fiftie, and of sweete calamus, two hundreth, and fiftie:
" Prends, parmi les meilleurs aromates, cinq cents sicles de myrrhe vierge, la moitié, soit deux cent cinquante sicles, de cinname aromatique, deux cent cinquante sicles de canne odorante,
24 Also of cassia fiue hundreth, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie, and of oyle oliue an Hin.
cinq cents sicles de casse, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, et un hin d'huile d'olive.
25 So thou shalt make of it the oyle of holie oyntment, euen a most precious oyntment after the arte of the Apothecarie: this shalbe the oyle of holy oyntment.
Tu en feras une huile pour l'onction sainte, un parfum composé selon l'art du parfumeur: ce sera l'huile pour l'onction sainte.
26 And thou shalt anoynt the Tabernacle of the Congregation therewith, and the Arke of the Testimonie:
Tu en oindras la tente de réunion et l'arche du témoignage,
27 Also the Table, and al the instruments thereof, and the Candlesticke, with all the instruments thereof, and the altar of incense:
la table et tous ses ustensiles, le chandelier et ses ustensiles, l'autel des parfums,
28 Also the Altar of burnt offring with al his instruments, and the lauer and his foote.
l'autel des holocaustes et tous ses ustensiles, et la cuve avec sa base.
29 So thou shalt sanctifie them, and they shalbe most holy: all that shall touch them, shalbe holy.
Tu les consacreras, et ils seront très saints; tout ce qui les touchera sera saint.
30 Thou shalt also anoint Aaron and his sonnes, and shalt consecrate them, that they may minister vnto me in the Priests office.
Tu oindras Aaron et ses fils, et tu les consacreras, pour qu'ils me servent comme prêtres.
31 Moreouer thou shalt speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, This shalbe an holy oynting oyle vnto me, throughout your generations.
Tu parleras aux enfants d'Israël, en disant: Ce sera l'huile d'onction sainte, pour moi d'âge en âge.
32 None shall anoynt, mans flesh therewith, neither shall ye make any composition like vnto it: for it is holy, and shalbe holy vnto you.
On n'en répandra pas sur le corps d'un homme, et vous n'en ferez pas une semblable, de même composition; c'est une chose sacrée, et vous la regarderez comme chose sacrée.
33 Whosoeuer shall make the like oyntment, or whosoeuer shall put any of it vpon a stranger, euen he shalbe cut off from his people.
Quiconque en composera de semblable, ou en mettra sur un étranger, sera retranché de son peuple. "
34 And the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Take vnto thee these spices, pure myrrhe and cleare gumme and galbanum, these odours with pure frankincense, of eche like weight:
Yahweh dit à Moïse: " Prends des aromates: résine, ongle odorant, galbanum; des aromates et de l'encens pur; ils seront en parties égales.
35 Then thou shalt make of them perfume composed after the arte of the apothecarie, mingled together, pure and holy.
Tu en feras un parfum pour l'encensement, composé selon l'art du parfumeur; il sera salé, pur et saint.
36 And thou shalt beate it to pouder, and shalt put of it before the Arke of the Testimonie in the Tabernacle of ye Cogregatio, where I wil make appointmet with thee: it shalbe vnto you most holy.
Tu le réduiras en poudre, et tu en mettras devant le témoignage, dans la tente de réunion, où je me rencontrerai avec toi. Ce sera pour vous une chose très sainte.
37 And ye shall not make vnto you any composition like this perfume, which thou shalt make: it shalbe vnto thee holy for the Lord.
Le parfum que tu feras, vous n'en ferez pas pour vous de même composition; tu le regarderas comme une chose sacrée pour Yahweh.
38 Whosoeuer shall make like vnto that to smelll thereto, euen he shalbe cut off from his people.
Quiconque en fera de semblable, pour en respirer l'odeur, sera retranché de son peuple, "
