Exodus 24

1 Now hee had said vnto Moses, Come vp to the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seuentie of the Elders of Israel, and yee shall worship a farre off.

Y a Moisés dijo: Sube a Jehová, tú y Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel, e inclinaros heis desde lejos.

2 And Moses himselfe alone shall come neere to the Lord, but they shall not come neere, neither shall the people goe vp with him.

Mas Moisés solo se llegará a Jehová, y ellos no se lleguen cerca; ni suba con él el pueblo.

3 Afterwarde Moses came and told the people all the wordes of the Lord, and all the lawes: and all the people answered with one voyce, and said, All the things which the Lord hath said, will we doe.

Y Moisés vino, y contó al pueblo todas las palabras de Jehová, y todos los derechos; y todo el pueblo respondió a una voz, y dijeron: Todas las palabras que Jehová ha dicho, haremos.

4 And Moses wrote all the wordes of the Lord, and rose vp early, and set vp an altar vnder the mountaine, and twelue pillars according to the twelue tribes of Israel.

Y Moisés escribió todas las palabras de Jehová: y levantándose por la mañana edificó un altar al pie del monte, y doce títulos según las doce tribus de Israel.

5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offrings of bieues, and sacrificed peace offrings vnto the Lord.

Y envió a los mancebos de los hijos de Israel, los cuales ofrecieron holocaustos, y sacrificaron pacíficos a Jehová, becerros.

6 Then Moses tooke halfe of the blood, and put it in basens, and halfe of the blood he sprinckled on the altar.

Y Moisés tomó la mitad de la sangre, y púsola en tazones: y la otra mitad de la sangre esparció sobre el altar.

7 After he tooke the booke of the couenant, and read it in the audience of the people: who said, All that the Lord hath said, we will do, and be obedient.

Y tomó el libro de la alianza, y leyó a oídos del pueblo, los cuales dijeron: Todas las cosas que Jehová ha dicho, haremos, y obedeceremos.

8 Then Moses tooke the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the couenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these things.

Entonces Moisés tomó la sangre, y rocío sobre el pueblo, y dijo: He aquí la sangre de la alianza, que Jehová ha hecho con vosotros sobre todas estas cosas.

9 Then went vp Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seuentie of the Elders of Israel.

Y subieron Moisés, y Aarón, Nadab, y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel.

10 And they saw the God of Israel, and vnder his feete was as it were a worke of a Saphir stone, and as the very heauen when it is cleare.

Y vieron al Dios de Israel; y había debajo de sus pies como la hechura de un ladrillo de zafiro, y como el ser del cielo sereno.

11 And vpon the nobles of the children of Israel he laide not his hande: also they sawe God, and did eate and drinke.

Mas no extendió su mano sobre los príncipes de los hijos de Israel; y vieron a Dios, y comieron y bebieron.

12 And the Lord said vnto Moses, Come vp to me into the mountaine, and be there, and I will giue thee tables of stone, and the law and the commandement, which I haue written, for to teach them.

Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Sube a mí al monte, y espera allá; y yo te daré unas tablas de piedra, y la ley y mandamientos que yo he escrito para enseñarlos.

13 Then Moses rose vp, and his minister Ioshua, and Moses went vp into the mountaine of God,

Y levantóse Moisés, y Josué su ministro; y Moisés subió al monte de Dios;

14 And said vnto the Elders, Tary vs here, vntill we come againe vnto you: and beholde, Aaron, and Hur are with you: whosoeuer hath any matters, let him come to them.

Y dijo a los ancianos: Esperádnos aquí hasta que volvamos a vosotros: y he aquí, Aarón y Jur están con vosotros: el que tuviere negocios, lleguese a ellos.

15 Then Moses went vp to the mount, and the cloude couered the mountaine,

Entonces Moisés subió al monte, y una nube cubrió el monte.

16 And the glorie of the Lord abode vpon mount Sinai, and the cloude couered it sixe dayes: and the seuenth day he called vnto Moses out of the middes of the cloude.

Y la gloria de Jehová reposó sobre el monte de Sinaí, y la nube lo cubrió por seis días: y al séptimo día llamó a Moisés de en medio de la nube.

17 And the sight of the glorie of the Lord was like consuming fire on the top of the moutaine, in the eyes of the children of Israel.

Y el parecer de la gloria de Jehová era como un fuego quemante en la cumbre del monte, a ojos de los hijos de Israel.

18 And Moses entred into the middes of the cloude, and went vp to the mountaine: and Moses was in the mount fourtie dayes and fourty nightes.

Y entró Moisés en medio de la nube, y subió al monte: y estuvo Moisés en el monte cuarenta días, y cuarenta noches.
