Deuteronomy 26
1 Also when thou shalt come into the lande which the Lord thy God giueth thee for inheritance, and shalt possesse it, and dwell therein,
Şi va fi astfel, când vei intra în ţara, pe care ţi-o dă DOMNUL Dumnezeul tău ca moştenire, şi o vei stăpâni şi vei locui în ea,
2 Then shalt thou take of the first of all the fruite of the earth, and bring it out of the lande that the Lord thy God giueth thee, and put it in a basket, and goe vnto the place, which the Lord thy God shall chose to place his Name there.
Să iei din primele roade ale pământului, pe care le vei aduce din ţara ta, pe care ţi-o dă DOMNUL Dumnezeul tău, şi să le pui într-un coş şi să mergi la locul pe care îl va alege DOMNUL Dumnezeul tău să îşi pună numele acolo.
3 And thou shalt come vnto the Priest, that shall be in those dayes, and say vnto him, I acknowledge this day vnto the Lord thy God, that I am come vnto the countrey which the Lord sware vnto our fathers for to giue vs.
Şi să mergi la preotul care va fi în zilele acelea şi să îi spui: Mărturisesc astăzi DOMNULUI Dumnezeul tău, că am intrat în ţara, pe care DOMNUL a jurat părinţilor noştri, că ne-o va da.
4 Then the Priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it downe before the altar of the Lord thy God.
Şi preotul să ia coşul din mâna ta şi să îl pună jos înaintea altarului DOMNULUI Dumnezeul tău.
5 And thou shalt answere and say before the Lord thy God, A Syrian was my father, who being ready to perish for hunger, went downe into Egypt, and soiourned there with a small company, and grew there vnto a nation great, mightie and full of people.
Şi să vorbeşti şi să spui înaintea DOMNULUI Dumnezeul tău: Tatăl meu era un sirian gata să piară şi a coborât în Egipt, cu puţini oameni, şi acolo a locuit temporar şi acolo a devenit o naţiune mare, puternică şi numeroasă,
6 And the Egyptians vexed vs, and troubled vs, and laded vs with cruell bondage.
Şi egiptenii s-au purtat rău cu noi şi ne-au chinuit şi au pus robie grea peste noi,
7 But when we cried vnto the Lord God of our fathers, the Lord heard our voyce, and looked on our aduersitie, and on our labour, and on our oppression.
Şi când noi am strigat către DOMNUL Dumnezeul părinţilor noştri, DOMNUL a auzit vocea noastră şi a văzut necazul nostru şi osteneala noastră şi oprimarea noastră,
8 And the Lord brought vs out of Egypt in a mightie hande, and a stretched out arme, with great terriblenesse, both in signes and wonders.
Şi DOMNUL ne-a scos din Egipt cu mână tare şi cu braţ întins şi cu groază mare şi cu semne şi cu minuni,
9 And he hath brought vs into this place, and hath giuen vs this land, euen a lande that floweth with milke and hony.
Şi ne-a adus în locul acesta şi ne-a dat ţara aceasta, ţară în care curge lapte şi miere.
10 And now, lo, I haue brought ye first fruites of the land which thou, O Lord, hast giuen me, and thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God:
Şi acum, iată, am adus primele roade ale ţării, pe care tu, DOAMNE, mi-ai dat-o. Şi să le pui înaintea DOMNULUI Dumnezeul tău şi să te închini înaintea DOMNULUI Dumnezeul tău.
11 And thou shalt reioyce in all the good things which the Lord thy God hath giuen vnto thee and to thine houshold, thou and the Leuite, and the stranger that is among you.
Şi să te bucuri în fiecare lucru bun, pe care ţi l-a dat DOMNUL Dumnezeul tău, ţie şi casei tale, tu şi levitul şi străinul care este printre voi.
12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tythes of thine increase, the thirde yeere, which is the yeere of tithing, and hast giuen it vnto the Leuite, to the stranger, to the fatherlesse, and to the widowe, that they may eate within thy gates, and be satisfied,
Când vei termina de strâns toate zeciuielile din venitul tău în anul al treilea, anul zeciuielii, şi le vei da levitului, străinului, celui fără tată şi văduvei, ca ei să mănânce înăuntrul porţilor tale şi să fie săturaţi,
13 Then thou shalt say before the Lord thy God, I haue brought the halowed thing out of mine house, and also haue giuen it vnto the Leuites and to the strangers, to the fatherlesse, and to the widow, according to all thy comandements which thou hast commanded me: I haue transgressed none of thy comandements, nor forgotten them.
Atunci să spui înaintea DOMNULUI Dumnezeul tău: Am scos din casă lucrurile sfinte şi le-am dat şi levitului şi străinului, celui fără tată şi văduvei, conform cu toate poruncile tale, pe care mi le-ai poruncit; nu am încălcat nici nu am uitat vreuna din poruncile tale.
14 I haue not eaten therof in my mourning, nor suffred ought to perish through vncleannes, nor giuen ought thereof for the dead, but haue hearkened vnto the voyce of the Lord my God: I haue done after al that thou hast comaded me.
Nu am mâncat din ele în jalea mea, nici nu am îndepărtat din ele pentru vreo folosire necurată, nici nu am dat din ele pentru morţi, ci am dat ascultare vocii DOMNULUI Dumnezeul meu şi am făcut conform cu tot ce mi-ai poruncit.
15 Looke downe from thine holy habitation, euen from heauen, and blesse thy people Israel, and the lande which thou hast giuen vs (as thou swarest vnto our fathers) the land that floweth with milke and hony.
Priveşte jos din locuinţa ta cea sfântă, din cer, şi binecuvântează pe poporul tău Israel şi ţara pe care ne-ai dat-o, precum ai jurat părinţilor noştri, o ţară în care curge lapte şi miere.
16 This day the Lord thy God doeth command thee to do these ordinances, and lawes: keepe them therefore, and do them with al thine heart, and with all thy soule.
Astăzi DOMNUL Dumnezeul tău ţi-a poruncit să împlineşti aceste statute şi judecăţi şi să le ţii de aceea şi să le împlineşti cu toată inima ta şi cu tot sufletul tău.
17 Thou hast set vp the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walke in his wayes, and to keepe his ordinances, and his commandements, and his lawes, and to hearken vnto his voyce.
Tu ai declarat astăzi pe DOMNUL ca Dumnezeu al tău, şi că vei umbla în căile lui şi vei ţine statutele lui şi poruncile lui şi judecăţile lui şi că vei da ascultare vocii lui,
18 And the Lord hath set thee vp this day, to be a precious people vnto him (as hee hath promised thee) and that thou shouldest keepe all his commandements,
Şi DOMNUL te-a declarat astăzi a fi poporul lui deosebit, precum ţi-a promis; şi tu să ţii toate poruncile lui;
19 And to make thee high aboue al nations (which he hath made) in praise, and in name, and in glory, and that thou shouldest be an holy people vnto the Lord thy God, as he hath said.
Şi că te va înălţa, mai presus de toate naţiunile pe care le-a făcut el, în laudă şi în renume şi în onoare; şi că tu vei fi un popor sfânt DOMNULUI Dumnezeul tău, precum a vorbit el.
