Acts 28
1 And when they were come safe, then they knewe that the Yle was called Melita.
இத்த²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷு ரக்ஷாம்’ ப்ராப்தேஷு தத்ரத்யோபத்³வீபஸ்ய நாம மிலீதேதி தே ஜ்ஞாதவந்த: |
2 And the Barbarians shewed vs no litle kindnesse: for they kindled a fire, and receiued vs euery one, because of the present showre, and because of the colde.
அஸப்⁴யலோகா யதே²ஷ்டம் அநுகம்பாம்’ க்ரு’த்வா வர்த்தமாநவ்ரு’ஷ்டே: ஸீ²தாச்ச வஹ்நிம்’ ப்ரஜ்ஜ்வால்யாஸ்மாகம் ஆதித்²யம் அகுர்வ்வந்|
3 And when Paul had gathered a nomber of stickes, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heate, and leapt on his hand.
கிந்து பௌல இந்த⁴நாநி ஸம்’க்³ரு’ஹ்ய யதா³ தஸ்மிந் அக்³ரௌ நிரக்ஷிபத், ததா³ வஹ்நே: ப்ரதாபாத் ஏக: க்ரு’ஷ்ணஸர்போ நிர்க³த்ய தஸ்ய ஹஸ்தே த்³ரஷ்டவாந்|
4 Nowe when ye Barbarians saw the worme hang on his hand, they said among themselues, This man surely is a murtherer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet Vengeance hath not suffered to liue.
தே(அ)ஸப்⁴யலோகாஸ்தஸ்ய ஹஸ்தே ஸர்பம் அவலம்ப³மாநம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா பரஸ்பரம் உக்தவந்த ஏஷ ஜநோ(அ)வஸ்²யம்’ நரஹா ப⁴விஷ்யதி, யதோ யத்³யபி ஜலதே⁴ ரக்ஷாம்’ ப்ராப்தவாந் ததா²பி ப்ரதிப²லதா³யக ஏநம்’ ஜீவிதும்’ ந த³தா³தி|
5 But he shooke off the worme into the fire, and felt no harme.
கிந்து ஸ ஹஸ்தம்’ விது⁴ந்வந் தம்’ ஸர்பம் அக்³நிமத்⁴யே நிக்ஷிப்ய காமபி பீடா³ம்’ நாப்தவாந்|
6 Howbeit they wayted whe he should haue swolne, or fallen downe dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and sawe no inconuenience come to him, they changed their mindes, and said, That he was a God.
ததோ விஷஜ்வாலயா ஏதஸ்ய ஸ²ரீரம்’ ஸ்பீ²தம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதி யத்³வா ஹடா²த³யம்’ ப்ராணாந் த்யக்ஷ்யதீதி நிஸ்²சித்ய லோகா ப³ஹுக்ஷணாநி யாவத் தத்³ த்³ரஷ்டும்’ ஸ்தி²தவந்த: கிந்து தஸ்ய கஸ்யாஸ்²சித்³ விபதோ³(அ)க⁴டநாத் தே தத்³விபரீதம்’ விஜ்ஞாய பா⁴ஷிதவந்த ஏஷ கஸ்²சித்³ தே³வோ ப⁴வேத்|
7 In the same quarters, the chiefe man of the Yle (whose name was Publius) had possessions: the same receiued vs, and lodged vs three dayes courteously.
புப்³லியநாமா ஜந ஏகஸ்தஸ்யோபத்³வீபஸ்யாதி⁴பதிராஸீத் தத்ர தஸ்ய பூ⁴ம்யாதி³ ச ஸ்தி²தம்’| ஸ ஜநோ(அ)ஸ்மாந் நிஜக்³ரு’ஹம்’ நீத்வா ஸௌஜந்யம்’ ப்ரகாஸ்²ய தி³நத்ரயம்’ யாவத்³ அஸ்மாகம்’ ஆதித்²யம் அகரோத்|
8 And so it was, that the father of Publius lay sicke of the feauer, and of a bloodie flixe: to whom Paul entred in, and when he prayed, he laide his hands on him, and healed him.
ததா³ தஸ்ய புப்³லியஸ்ய பிதா ஜ்வராதிஸாரேண பீட்³யமாந: ஸந் ஸ²ய்யாயாம் ஆஸீத்; தத: பௌலஸ்தஸ்ய ஸமீபம்’ க³த்வா ப்ரார்த²நாம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தஸ்ய கா³த்ரே ஹஸ்தம்’ ஸமர்ப்ய தம்’ ஸ்வஸ்த²ம்’ க்ரு’தவாந்|
9 When this then was done, other also in the Yle, which had diseases, came to him, and were healed,
இத்த²ம்’ பூ⁴தே தத்³வீபநிவாஸிந இதரேபி ரோகி³லோகா ஆக³த்ய நிராமயா அப⁴வந்|
10 Which also did vs great honour: and when we departed, they laded vs with things necessarie.
தஸ்மாத்தே(அ)ஸ்மாகம் அதீவ ஸத்காரம்’ க்ரு’தவந்த: , விஸே²ஷத: ப்ரஸ்தா²நஸமயே ப்ரயோஜநீயாநி நாநத்³ரவ்யாணி த³த்தவந்த: |
11 Nowe after three moneths we departed in a shippe of Alexandria, which had wintred in the Yle, whose badge was Castor and Pollux.
இத்த²ம்’ தத்ர த்ரிஷு மாஸேஷு க³தேஷு யஸ்ய சிஹ்நம்’ தி³யஸ்கூரீ தாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏக: ஸிகந்த³ரீயநக³ரஸ்ய போத: ஸீ²தகாலம்’ யாபயந் தஸ்மிந் உபத்³வீபே (அ)திஷ்ட²த் தமேவ போதம்’ வயம் ஆருஹ்ய யாத்ராம் அகுர்ம்ம|
12 And when we arriued at Syracuse, we taried there three dayes.
தத: ப்ரத²மத: ஸுராகூஸநக³ரம் உபஸ்தா²ய தத்ர த்ரீணி தி³நாநி ஸ்தி²தவந்த: |
13 And from thence we set a compasse, and came to Rhegium: and after one day, the South wind blewe, and we came the seconde day to Putioli:
தஸ்மாத்³ ஆவ்ரு’த்ய ரீகி³யநக³ரம் உபஸ்தி²தா: தி³நைகஸ்மாத் பரம்’ த³க்ஷிணவயௌ ஸாநுகூல்யே ஸதி பரஸ்மிந் தி³வஸே பதியலீநக³ரம் உபாதிஷ்டா²ம|
14 Where we found brethren, and were desired to tary with them seuen dayes, and so we went toward Rome.
ததோ(அ)ஸ்மாஸு தத்ரத்யம்’ ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ணம்’ ப்ராப்தேஷு தே ஸ்வை: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் அஸ்மாந் ஸப்த தி³நாநி ஸ்தா²பயிதும் அயதந்த, இத்த²ம்’ வயம்’ ரோமாநக³ரம் ப்ரத்யக³ச்சா²ம|
15 And from thence, when the brethren heard of vs, they came to meete vs at the Market of Appius, and at the Three tauernes, whom when Paul sawe, he thanked God, and waxed bolde.
தஸ்மாத் தத்ரத்யா: ப்⁴ராதரோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம் ஆக³மநவார்த்தாம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ஆப்பியப²ரம்’ த்ரிஷ்டாவர்ணீஞ்ச யாவத்³ அக்³ரேஸரா: ஸந்தோஸ்மாந் ஸாக்ஷாத் கர்த்தும் ஆக³மந்; தேஷாம்’ த³ர்ஸ²நாத் பௌல ஈஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வத³ந் ஆஸ்²வாஸம் ஆப்தவாந்|
16 So when we came to Rome, the Centurion deliuered the prisoners to the generall Captaine: but Paul was suffered to dwell by him selfe with a souldier that kept him.
அஸ்மாஸு ரோமாநக³ரம்’ க³தேஷு ஸ²தஸேநாபதி: ஸர்வ்வாந் ப³ந்தீ³ந் ப்ரதா⁴நஸேநாபதே: ஸமீபே ஸமார்பயத் கிந்து பௌலாய ஸ்வரக்ஷகபதா³திநா ஸஹ ப்ரு’த²க்³ வஸ்தும் அநுமதிம்’ த³த்தவாந்|
17 And the third day after, Paul called the chiefe of the Iewes together: and when they were come, he said vnto them, Men and brethren, though I haue committed nothing against the people, or Lawes of the fathers, yet was I deliuered prisoner from Hierusalem into the handes of the Romanes.
தி³நத்ரயாத் பரம்’ பௌலஸ்தத்³தே³ஸ²ஸ்தா²ந் ப்ரதா⁴நயிஹூதி³ந ஆஹூதவாந் ததஸ்தேஷு ஸமுபஸ்தி²தேஷு ஸ கதி²தவாந், ஹே ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ண நிஜலோகாநாம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாணாம்’ வா ரீதே ர்விபரீதம்’ கிஞ்சந கர்ம்மாஹம்’ நாகரவம்’ ததா²பி யிரூஸா²லமநிவாஸிநோ லோகா மாம்’ ப³ந்தி³ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ரோமிலோகாநாம்’ ஹஸ்தேஷு ஸமர்பிதவந்த: |
18 Who when they had examined me, would haue let me goe, because there was no cause of death in me.
ரோமிலோகா விசார்ய்ய மம ப்ராணஹநநார்ஹம்’ கிமபி காரணம்’ ந ப்ராப்ய மாம்’ மோசயிதும் ஐச்ச²ந்;
19 But when the Iewes spake contrary, I was constrained to appeale vnto Cesar, not because I had ought to accuse my nation of.
கிந்து யிஹூதி³லோகாநாம் ஆபத்த்யா மயா கைஸரராஜஸ்ய ஸமீபே விசாரஸ்ய ப்ரார்த²நா கர்த்தவ்யா ஜாதா நோசேத் நிஜதே³ஸீ²யலோகாந் ப்ரதி மம கோப்யபி⁴யோகோ³ நாஸ்தி|
20 For this cause therefore haue I called for you, to see you, and to speake with you: for that hope of Israels sake, I am bound with this chaine.
ஏதத்காரணாத்³ அஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் த்³ரஷ்டும்’ ஸம்’லபிதுஞ்சாஹூயம் இஸ்ராயேல்வஸீ²யாநாம்’ ப்ரத்யாஸா²ஹேதோஹம் ஏதேந ஸு²ங்க²லேந ப³த்³தோ⁴(அ)ப⁴வம்|
21 Then they saide vnto him, We neither receiued letters out of Iudea concerning thee, neither came any of the brethren that shewed or spake any euill of thee.
ததா³ தே தம் அவாதி³ஷு: , யிஹூதீ³யதே³ஸா²த்³ வயம்’ த்வாமதி⁴ கிமபி பத்ரம்’ ந ப்ராப்தா யே ப்⁴ராதர: ஸமாயாதாஸ்தேஷாம்’ கோபி தவ காமபி வார்த்தாம்’ நாவத³த் அப⁴த்³ரமபி நாகத²யச்ச|
22 But we will heare of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we knowe that euery where it is spoken against.
தவ மதம்’ கிமிதி வயம்’ த்வத்த: ஸ்²ரோதுமிச்சா²ம: | யத்³ இத³ம்’ நவீநம்’ மதமுத்தி²தம்’ தத் ஸர்வ்வத்ர ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ நிகடே நிந்தி³தம்’ ஜாதம இதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம: |
23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many vnto him into his lodging, to whom he expounded testifying the kingdome of God, and persuading them those things that concerne Iesus, both out of the Lawe of Moses, and out of the Prophets, from morning to night.
தைஸ்தத³ர்த²ம் ஏகஸ்மிந் தி³நே நிரூபிதே தஸ்மிந் தி³நே ப³ஹவ ஏகத்ர மிலித்வா பௌலஸ்ய வாஸக்³ரு’ஹம் ஆக³ச்ச²ந் தஸ்மாத் பௌல ஆ ப்ராத: காலாத் ஸந்த்⁴யாகாலம்’ யாவந் மூஸாவ்யவஸ்தா²க்³ரந்தா²த்³ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நாம்’ க்³ரந்தே²ப்⁴யஸ்²ச யீஸோ²: கதா²ம் உத்தா²ப்ய ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜ்யே ப்ரமாணம்’ த³த்வா தேஷாம்’ ப்ரவ்ரு’த்திம்’ ஜநயிதும்’ சேஷ்டிதவாந்|
24 And some were persuaded with ye things which were spoken, and some beleeued not.
கேசித்து தஸ்ய கதா²ம்’ ப்ரத்யாயந் கேசித்து ந ப்ரத்யாயந்;
25 Therefore when they agreed not among themselues, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, to wit, Well spake the holy Ghost by Esaias the Prophet vnto our fathers,
ஏதத்காரணாத் தேஷாம்’ பரஸ்பரம் அநைக்யாத் ஸர்வ்வே சலிதவந்த: ; ததா²பி பௌல ஏதாம்’ கதா²மேகாம்’ கதி²தவாந் பவித்ர ஆத்மா யிஸ²யியஸ்ய ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வக்து ர்வத³நாத்³ அஸ்மாகம்’ பித்ரு’புருஷேப்⁴ய ஏதாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ப⁴த்³ரம்’ கத²யாமாஸ, யதா²,
26 Saying, Goe vnto this people, and say, By hearing ye shall heare, and shall not vnderstand, and seeing ye shall see, and not perceiue.
"உபக³த்ய ஜநாநேதாந் த்வம்’ பா⁴ஷஸ்வ வசஸ்த்வித³ம்’| கர்ணை: ஸ்²ரோஷ்யத² யூயம்’ ஹி கிந்து யூயம்’ ந போ⁴த்ஸ்யத²| நேத்ரை ர்த்³ரக்ஷ்யத² யூயஞ்ச ஜ்ஞாதும்’ யூயம்’ ந ஸ²க்ஷ்யத²|
27 For the heart of this people is waxed fatte, and their eares are dull of hearing, and with their eyes haue they winked, least they shoulde see with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and vnderstand with their heartes, and should returne that I might heale them.
தே மாநுஷா யதா² நேத்ரை: பரிபஸ்²யந்தி நைவ ஹி| கர்ணை: ர்யதா² ந ஸ்²ரு’ண்வந்தி பு³த்⁴யந்தே ந ச மாநஸை: | வ்யாவர்த்தயத்ஸு சித்தாநி காலே குத்ராபி தேஷு வை| மத்தஸ்தே மநுஜா: ஸ்வஸ்தா² யதா² நைவ ப⁴வந்தி ச| ததா² தேஷாம்’ மநுஷ்யாணாம்’ ஸந்தி ஸ்தூ²லா ஹி பு³த்³த⁴ய: | ப³தி⁴ரீபூ⁴தகர்ணாஸ்²ச ஜாதாஸ்²ச முத்³ரிதா த்³ரு’ஸ²: ||
28 Be it knowen therefore vnto you, that this saluation of God is sent to the Gentiles, and they shall heare it.
அத ஈஸ்²வராத்³ யத் பரித்ராணம்’ தஸ்ய வார்த்தா பி⁴ந்நதே³ஸீ²யாநாம்’ ஸமீபம்’ ப்ரேஷிதா தஏவ தாம்’ க்³ரஹீஷ்யந்தீதி யூயம்’ ஜாநீத|
29 And when he had saide these things, the Iewes departed, and had great reasoning among themselues.
ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ்²யாம்’ கதா²யாம்’ கதி²தாயாம்’ ஸத்யாம்’ யிஹூதி³ந: பரஸ்பரம்’ ப³ஹுவிசாரம்’ குர்வ்வந்தோ க³தவந்த: |
30 And Paul remained two yeeres full in an house hired for himselfe, and receiued all that came in vnto him,
இத்த²ம்’ பௌல: ஸம்பூர்ணம்’ வத்ஸரத்³வயம்’ யாவத்³ பா⁴டகீயே வாஸக்³ரு’ஹே வஸந் யே லோகாஸ்தஸ்ய ஸந்நிதி⁴ம் ஆக³ச்ச²ந்தி தாந் ஸர்வ்வாநேவ பரிக்³ரு’ஹ்லந்,
31 Preaching the kingdome of God, and teaching those things which concerne the Lord Iesus Christ, with all boldnesse of speache, without let.
நிர்விக்⁴நம் அதிஸ²யநி: க்ஷோப⁴ம் ஈஸ்²வரீயராஜத்வஸ்ய கதா²ம்’ ப்ரசாரயந் ப்ரபௌ⁴ யீஸௌ² க்²ரீஷ்டே கதா²: ஸமுபாதி³ஸ²த்| இதி||
