2 Samuel 3
1 There was then long warre betweene the house of Saul and the house of Dauid: but Dauid waxed stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker.
Nkhondo ya pakati pa banja la Sauli ndi banja la Davide inachitika nthawi yayitali. Mphamvu za Davide zinkakulirakulirabe, pamene banja la Sauli mphamvu zake zimapita zicheperachepera.
2 And vnto Dauid were children borne in Hebron: and his eldest sonne was Amnon of Ahinoam the Izreelite,
Ana aamuna a Davide amene anabadwira ku Hebroni anali awa: Woyamba anali Amnoni, amayi ake anali Ahinoamu wa ku Yezireeli.
3 And his seconde, was Chileab of Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite: and the third, Absalom the sonne of Maacah the daughter of Talmai the King of Geshur,
Mwana wachiwiri anali Kileabu, amayi ake anali Abigayeli mkazi wamasiye wa Nabala wa ku Karimeli. Wachitatu anali Abisalomu, amayi ake anali Maaka mwana wa Talimai mfumu ya Gesuri;
4 And the fourth, Adoniiah the sonne of Haggith, and the fifth, Shephatiah the sonne of Abital,
wachinayi anali Adoniya, amayi ake anali Hagiti; wachisanu, Sefatiya amayi ake anali Abitali;
5 And the sixt, Ithream by Eglah Dauids wife: these were borne to Dauid in Hebron.
ndipo wachisanu ndi chimodzi anali Itireamu, amayi ake anali Egila, mkazi wa Davide. Ana awa a Davide anabadwira ku Hebroni.
6 Nowe while there was warre betweene the house of Saul and the house of Dauid, Abner made all his power for the house of Saul.
Pamene kunali nkhondo pakati pa banja la Sauli ndi banja la Davide, Abineri anayamba kudzipatsa yekha mphamvu pakati pa banja la Sauli.
7 And Saul had a concubine named Rizpah, the daughter of Aiiah. And Ish-bosheth sayde to Abner, Wherefore hast thou gone in to my fathers concubine?
Sauli anali ndi mzikazi dzina lake Rizipa mwana wa Ayiwa. Ndipo Isiboseti anati kwa Abineri, “Nʼchifukwa chiyani unagona ndi mzikazi wa abambo anga?”
8 Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ish-bosheth, and said, Am I a dogges head, which against Iudah do shew mercie this day vnto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his neighbours, and haue not deliuered thee into the hande of Dauid, that thou chargest me this day with a fault concerning this woman?
Abineri anakwiya kwambiri chifukwa cha zimene Isi-Boseti ananena ndipo anamuyankha kuti “Kodi ukuyesa ndine mutu wagalu umene ali mbali ya Ayuda? Lero lino ndine wokhulupirika ku nyumba ya abambo ako, Sauli ndi banja lake ndi anzake. Ine sindinakupereke kwa Davide, koma tsopano ukundinena pa cholakwa chimene ndachita pa mkazi uyu!
9 So doe God to Abner, and more also, except, as the Lord hath sworne to Dauid, euen so I doe to him,
Mulungu andilange ine Abineri, andilange kwambiri, ngati sindichitira Davide zimene Yehova anamulonjeza iye mwa lumbiro.
10 To remoue the kingdome from the house of Saul, that the throne of Dauid may be stablished ouer Israel, and ouer Iudah, euen from Dan to Beer-sheba.
Ndidzachotsa ufumu ku nyumba ya Sauli ndi kukhazikitsa ufumu wa Davide pa Aisraeli onse ndi Yuda kuchokera ku Dani mpaka ku Beeriseba.”
11 And he durst no more answere to Abner: for he feared him.
Isiboseti sanayerekezenso kunena mawu ena kwa Abineri, chifukwa ankamuopa.
12 Then Abner sent messengers to Dauid on his behalfe, saying, Whose is the lande? who should also say, Make couenant with me, and beholde, mine hande shalbe with thee, to bring all Israel vnto thee.
Kenaka Abineri anatuma amithenga kwa Davide kukanena kuti, “Kodi dzikoli ndi la yani? Uchite mgwirizano ndi ine ndipo ndidzakuthandiza kuti Aisraeli onse azikutsatira.”
13 Who saide, Well, I will make a couenant with thee: but one thing I require of thee, that is, that thou see not my face except thou bring Michal Sauls daughter when thou commest to see me.
Davide anati, “Chabwino. Ine ndichita mgwirizano ndi iwe. Koma ndikukupempha chinthu chimodzi: Usabwere pamaso panga pokhapokha utabweretsa Mikala mwana wamkazi wa Sauli, ukamabwera kudzandiona.”
14 Then Dauid sent messengers to Ish-bosheth Sauls sonne, saying, Deliuer me my wife Michal, which I marryed for an hundreth foreskinnes of the Philistims.
Ndipo Davide anatuma amithenga kwa Isi-Boseti mwana wa Sauli, kumulamula kuti, “Patse mkazi wanga Mikala, amene ndinamukwatira ndi makungu 100 a msonga za mavalo a Afilisti.”
15 And Ish-bosheth sent, and tooke her from her husband Phaltiel the sonne of Laish.
Kotero Isi-Boseti analamulira ndipo anakamutenga kwa mwamuna wake Palitieli mwana wa Laisi.
16 And her husband went with her, and came weeping behinde her, vnto Bahurim: then saide Abner vnto him, Go, and returne. So he returned.
Koma mwamuna wake anapita naye akulira pambuyo pake njira yonse mpaka ku Bahurimu. Kenaka Abineri anati kwa iye, “Bwerera kwanu!” Ndipo anabwerera kwawo.
17 And Abner had communication with the Elders of Israel, saying, Ye sought for Dauid in times past, that he might be your King.
Abineri anakambirana ndi akuluakulu a Israeli ndipo anati, “Kwa kanthawi mwakhala mukufuna kulonga Davide kuti akhale mfumu yanu.
18 Nowe then doe it: for the Lord hath spoken of Dauid, saying, By the hand of my seruant Dauid I will saue my people Israel out of the handes of the Philistims, and out of the handes of all their enemies.
Tsopano chitani zimenezo! Pakuti Yehova analonjeza Davide kuti, ‘Kudzera mwa mtumiki wanga Davide ndidzapulumutsa anthu anga Aisraeli mʼdzanja la Afilisti ndi kuwachotsa mʼmanja mwa adani awo.’”
19 Also Abner spake to Beniamin, and afterward Abner went to speake with Dauid in Hebron, concerning all that Israel was content with, and the whole house of Beniamin.
Abineri anayankhulanso nawo yekha anthu a fuko la Benjamini. Kenaka anapita ku Hebroni kukamuwuza Davide zonse zimene Aisraeli ndi fuko lonse la Benjamini amafuna kuchita.
20 So Abner came to Dauid to Hebron, hauing twentie men with him, and Dauid made a feast vnto Abner, and to the men that were with him.
Abineri, amene anali ndi anthu makumi awiri, atafika kwa Davide ku Hebroni, Davide anamukonzera phwando pamodzi ndi anthu ake.
21 Then Abner sayde vnto Dauid, I will rise vp, and goe gather all Israel vnto my lorde the King, that they may make a couenant with thee, and that thou mayest reigne ouer all that thine heart desireth. Then Dauid let Abner depart, who went in peace.
Ndipo Abineri anawuza Davide kuti, “Loleni kuti ndipite msanga kukasonkhanitsa Aisraeli onse kuti abwere kwa inu kuno, mbuye wanga mfumu, kuti adzachite nanu pangano, ndipo kuti muzilamulira kulikonse kumene mtima wanu ufuna.” Kotero Davide analola Abineri kuti apite, ndipo anapita mwamtendere.
22 And beholde, the seruants of Dauid and Ioab came from the campe, and brought a great pray with them (but Abner was not with Dauid in Hebron: for he had sent him away, and he departed in peace)

23 When Ioab, and all the hoste that was with him were come, men tolde Ioab, saying, Abner the sonne of Ner came to the King, and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in peace.
Yowabu ndi asilikali onse amene anali naye atafika, anawuzidwa kuti Abineri mwana wa Neri anabwera kwa mfumu ndipo kuti mfumu yamulola kuti apite ndi kuti wapita ndi mtendere.
24 Then Ioab came to the King, and saide, What hast thou done? beholde, Abner came vnto thee, why hast thou sent him away, and he is departed?
Choncho Yowabu anapita kwa mfumu ndipo anati, “Mwachita chiyani? Taonani, Abineri anabwera kwa inu. Nʼchifukwa chiyani mwamulola kuti apite? Tsopanotu wapitadi!
25 Thou knowest Abner the sonne of Ner: for he came to deceiue thee, and to knowe thy outgoing and ingoing, and to knowe all that thou doest.
Inu mukumudziwa bwino Abineri mwana wa Neri. Iye anabwera kudzakunamizani ndi kudzaona mayendedwe anu ndiponso kudzaona zonse zimene mukuchita.”
26 And when Ioab was gone out from Dauid, he sent messengers after Abner, which brought him againe from the well of Siriah vnknowing to Dauid.
Kenaka Yowabu anachoka pamaso pa Davide ndipo anatumiza amithenga kutsatira Abineri, ndipo anabwera naye kuchokera ku chitsime cha Sira. Koma Davide sanadziwe zimenezi.
27 And when Abner was come againe to Hebron, Ioab tooke him aside in the gate to speake with him peaceably, and smote him vnder the fift ryb, that he dyed, for the blood of Asahel his brother.
Tsono Abineri atabwerera ku Hebroni, Yowabu anamutengera pambali ku chipata, kukhala ngati akufuna kuyankhula naye mwamseri. Ndipo kumeneko pobwezera imfa ya mʼbale wake Asaheli, Yowabu analasa iyeyo mʼmimba, ndipo anafa.
28 And when afterwarde it came to Dauids eare, he saide, I and my kingdome are giltlesse before the Lord for euer, concerning the blood of Abner the sonne of Ner.
Patapita nthawi, Davide atamva zimenezi anati, “Ine ndi ufumu wanga tidzakhala osalakwa pamaso pa Yehova pa imfa ya Abineri mwana wa Neri.
29 Let the blood fall on the head of Ioab, and on all his fathers house, that the house of Ioab be neuer without some that haue running issues, or leper, or that leaneth on a staffe, or that doeth fall on the sworde, or that lacketh bread.
Mlandu umenewu ukhala pa Yowabu ndi banja lonse la abambo ake! Mʼbanja la Yowabu musadzasowe munthu wodwala matenda a chizonono kapena khate, kapena wolumala woyendera ndodo kapena wophedwa ndi lupanga, kapena wosowa chakudya.”
30 (So Ioab and Abishai his brother slewe Abner, because he had slaine their brother Asahel at Gibeon in battel)
(Yowabu ndi mʼbale wake Abisai anapha Abineri chifukwa iye anapha mʼbale wawo Asaheli ku nkhondo ku Gibiyoni).
31 And Dauid said to Ioab, and to al the people that were with him, Rent your clothes, and put on sackecloth, and mourne before Abner: and King Dauid him selfe followed the beare.
Ndipo Davide anati kwa Yowabu ndi anthu onse amene anali nawo, “Ngʼambani zovala zanu ndipo muvale ziguduli, muyende mukulira patsogolo pa Abineri.” Mfumu Davide mwini anayenda motsatira chitandacho.
32 And when they had buryed Abner in Hebron, the King lift vp his voyce, and wept beside the sepulchre of Abner, and all the people wept.
Iwo anamuyika Abineri mʼmanda ku Hebroni ndipo mfumu inalira mokweza pa manda a Abineri. Ndipo anthu onse analiranso.
33 And the King lamented ouer Abner, and sayde, Dyed Abner as a foole dyeth?
Mfumu inayimba nyimbo iyi ya maliro a Abineri: “Abineri nʼkufa motere monga mmene chimafera chitsiru.
34 Thine handes were not bounde, nor thy feete tyed in fetters of brasse: but as a man falleth before wicked men, so diddest thou fall. And all the people wept againe for him.
Manja ako anali osamanga, mapazi ako anali osakulungidwa. Iwe wafa monga mmene amafera anthu pamaso pa anthu oyipa.” Ndipo anthu onse analiranso kulirira Abineri.
35 Afterwarde all the people came to cause Dauid eate meate while it was yet day, but Dauid sware, saying, So doe God to me and more also, if I taste bread, or ought els till the sunne be downe.
Kenaka onse anabwera kwa Davide kumuwumiriza kuti adye kusanade. Koma Davide analumbira kuti, “Mulungu andilange ine, andilange kwambiri, ngati ndilawe buledi kapena chilichonse dzuwa lisanalowe!”
36 And all the people knewe it, and it pleased them: as whatsoeuer the King did, pleased all the people.
Anthu onse anadziwa zimenezi ndipo zinawakondweretsa ndithu. Zonse zimene mfumu inachita zinawakondweretsa.
37 For all the people and all Israel vnderstoode that day, howe that it was not the Kings deede that Abner the sonne of Ner was slaine.
Kotero tsiku limeneli anthu onse ndi Aisraeli onse anadziwa kuti sikunali kufuna kwa mfumu kuti Abineri mwana wa Neri aphedwe.
38 And the King said vnto his seruants, Know ye not, that there is a prince and a great man falle this day in Israel?
Ndipo mfumu inati kwa ankhondo ake, “Kodi inu simukudziwa kuti lero mu Israeli mwagwa kalonga ndi munthu wamkulu?
39 And I am this day weake and newly anoynted King: and these men the sonnes of Zeruiah be too harde for me: the Lord rewarde the doer of euill according to his wickednesse.
Ndipo lero, ngakhale ine ndine mfumu yodzozedwa, ndilibe mphamvu ndipo ana awa a Zeruya ndi amphamvu kwa ine. Yehova abwezere woyipa molingana ndi zoyipa zake!”
