2 Samuel 12
1 Then the Lord sent Nathan vnto Dauid, who came to him, and sayd vnto him, There were two men in one citie, the one riche, and the other poore.
Dabadeedna Rabbigu wuxuu Daa'uud u soo diray Naataan. Isna waa u yimid oo ku yidhi, Waxaa jiray laba nin oo isku magaalo degganaa; midkood wuxuu ahaa taajir, midka kalena miskiin.
2 The rich man had exceeding many sheepe and oxen:
Ninkii taajirka ahaa wuxuu lahaa ido iyo lo' aad u badan,
3 But the poore had none at all, saue one litle sheepe which he had bought, and nourished vp: and it grew vp with him, and with his children also, and did eate of his owne morsels, and dranke of his owne cup, and slept in his bosome, and was vnto him as his daughter.
laakiinse ninkii miskiinka ahaa waxba ma lahayn, nayl yar mooyaane, taasoo uu mar hore soo iibsaday oo uu korsaday; waxayna la kortay isagii iyo carruurtiisii, oo wax bay ka cuntay cuntadiisii, oo koobkiisay wax kula cabtay, oo laabtiisay ku jiifsatay, waxayna u ahayd sidii gabadhiisii oo kale.
4 Now there came a stranger vnto the rich man, who refused to take of his owne sheepe, and of his owne oxen to dresse for the stranger that was come vnto him, but tooke the poore mans sheepe, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
Waxaa ninkii taajirka ahaa u yimid nin socoto ah, markaasuu ka lexejeclaystay idihiisii iyo lo'diisii inuu uga loogo ninkii socotada ahaa ee u yimid, laakiinse wuxuu soo qabtay nayshii ninka miskiinka ahaa, wuuna u qalay ninkii u yimid.
5 Then Dauid was exceeding wroth with the man, and sayde to Nathan, As the Lord liueth, the man that hath done this thing, shall surely dye,
Markaasaa Daa'uud aad ugu cadhooday ninkii; oo wuxuu Naataan ku yidhi, Rabbiga noloshiisaan ku dhaartay, ninkii waxakan sameeyey wuxuu istaahilaa dhimasho,
6 And he shall restore the lambe foure folde, because he did this thing, and had no pitie thereof.
oo nayshiina waa inuu afar jibbaar u gudaa, maxaa yeelay, waxan buu sameeyey wuuna naxariisan waayay.
7 Then Nathan sayd to Dauid, Thou art the man. Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I anoynted thee King ouer Israel, and deliuered thee out of the hand of Saul,
Kolkaasaa Naataan wuxuu Daa'uud ku yidhi, Ninkaasu waa adiga. Rabbiga ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaan kuu subkay inaad ahaatid boqor reer binu Israa'iil u taliya, gacantii Saa'uulna waan kaa samatabbixiyey,
8 And gaue thee thy lordes house, and thy lords wiues into thy bosome, and gaue thee the house of Israel, and of Iudah, and would moreouer (if that had bene too litle) haue giuen thee such and such things.
gurigii sayidkaagana waan ku siiyey, naagihii sayidkaagana laabtaadaan ku jiifiyey; dalkii Israa'iil iyo dalkii Yahuudahna waan ku siiyey; oo haddii intaasu kugu yaraydna waxaan kuugu dari lahaa waxyaalo kaloo ka sii badan.
9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandement of the Lord, to doe euill in his sight? thou hast killed Vriah the Hittite with ye sworde, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slaine him with the sworde of the children of Ammon.
Haddaba erayga Rabbiga maxaad u quudhsatay, oo aad u samaysay waxa hortiisa ku xun? Seef baad ku dishay Uuriyaah kii reer Xeed, oo naagtiisiina waad u kaxaysatay inay naag kuu noqoto, oo isagiina waxaad ku dishay seeftii reer Cammoon.
10 Now therefore the sworde shall neuer depart from thine house, because thou hast despised me, and taken the wife of Vriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
Sidaas daraaddeed seeftu reerkaaga ka tegi mayso; maxaa yeelay, waad i quudhsatay, oo waxaad kaxaysatay naagtii Uuriyaah kii reer Xeed inay naag kuu noqoto.
11 Thus sayth the Lord, Behold, I will rayse vp euil against thee out of thine owne house, and will take thy wiues before thine eyes, and giue them vnto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wiues in the sight of this sunne.
Oo Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogow, shar baan gurigaaga kaaga kicin doonaa, oo adoo u jeeda ayaan naagahaaga kaa kaxaysan doonaa, oo waxaan siin doonaa deriskaaga, oo isna intay qorraxdanu soo jeeddo ayuu naagahaaga la seexan doonaa.
12 For thou diddest it secretly: but I will doe this thing before all Israel, and before the sunne.
Waayo, waxan qarsoodi baad u samaysay, laakiinse anigu bayaan baan ugu hor samaynayaa reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan iyo qorraxdaba.
13 Then Dauid sayde vnto Nathan, I haue sinned against the Lord. And Nathan sayde vnto Dauid, The Lord also hath put away thy sinne, thou shalt not die.
Markaasaa Daa'uud wuxuu Naataan ku yidhi, Anigu Rabbiga waan ku dembaabay. Oo Naataanna wuxuu Daa'uud ku yidhi, Rabbigu dembigaagii wuu kaa fogeeyey; dhimanna maysid.
14 Howbeit because by this deede thou hast caused the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the childe that is borne vnto thee shall surely die.
Habase yeeshee waxaas aad samaysay aawadiis ayaad meel siisay cadaawayaashii Rabbiga inay caytamaan, taas aawadeed wiilka kuu dhashay hubaal wuu dhiman doonaa.
15 So Nathan departed vnto his house: and the Lord stroke the childe that Vriahs wife bare vnto Dauid, and it was sicke.
Markaasaa Naataan gurigiisii tegey. Markaasaa Rabbigu wax ku riday wiilkii naagta Uuriyaah Daa'uud u dhashay, aad buuna u bukay.
16 Dauid therefore besought God for the childe, and fasted and went in, and lay all night vpon the earth.
Sidaas daraaddeed Daa'uud ayaa wiilkiisii Ilaah u baryay, kolkaasaa Daa'uud soomay, oo intuu gudaha galay ayuu habeenkii oo dhan dhulka jiifay.
17 Then the Elders of his house arose to come vnto him, and to cause him to rise from the groud: but he would not, neither did he eate meate with them.
Markaasaa waxaa soo kacay odayaashii reerkiisa, oo intay agtiisa soo istaageen ayay damceen inay dhulka ka kiciyaan, laakiinse wuu diiday, oo waxbana lama uu cunin.
18 So on the seuenth day the child dyed: and the seruants of Dauid feared to tell him that the childe was dead: for they sayde, Beholde, while the childe was aliue, we spake vnto him, and he woulde not hearken vnto our voyce: how then shall we say vnto him, The childe is dead, to vexe him more?
Oo maalintii toddobaad ayaa yarkii dhintay. Oo Daa'uud addoommadiisiina way ka cabsadeen inay Daa'uud u sheegaan in yarkii dhintay, waayo, waxay isyidhaahdeen, War intii yarku weli noolaa ayaynu isaga la hadalnay, oo isna codkeennii ma uu maqlin; haddaba haddaynu u sheegno in yarkii dhintay, intee in ka badan buu isdhibi doonaa?
19 But when Dauid sawe that his seruantes whispered, Dauid perceiued that the childe was dead: therefore Dauid sayde vnto his seruants, Is the childe dead? And they sayd, He is dead.
Laakiinse Daa'uud markuu arkay inay addoommadiisii faqayaan ayuu ogaaday inuu yarkii dhintay; kolkaasaa Daa'uud addoommadiisii ku yidhi, War yarkii ma dhintay? Iyana waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Haah, wuu dhintay.
20 Then Dauid arose from the earth, and washed and anoynted himselfe, and changed his apparell, and came into the house of the Lord, and worshipped, and afterward came to his owne house, and bade that they should set bread before him, and he did eate.
Kolkaasaa Daa'uud dhulkii ka kacay, oo maydhay, oo intuu subkaday ayuu dharkiisii beddeshay; wuxuuna galay gurigii Rabbiga, wuuna caabuday; oo dabadeedna gurigiisii buu yimid, oo intuu cunto weyddiistay ayaa wax la soo hor dhigay, wuuna cunay.
21 Then saide his seruants vnto him, What thing is this, that thou hast done? thou diddest fast and weepe for the childe while it was aliue, but when the childe was dead, thou diddest rise vp, and eate meate.
Markaasaa addoommadiisii waxay ku yidhaahdeen, War waxan aad samaysay waa maxay? Wiilku intuu noolaa ayaad soontay, oo u ooyday aawadiis; laakiinse yarkii markuu dhintay, waad kacday, wax baanad cuntay.
22 And he sayde, While the childe was yet aliue, I fasted, and wept: for I sayde, Who can tell whether God will haue mercy on me, that the childe may liue?
Markaasuu ku yidhi, Intii yarku noolaa ayaan soomay oo ooyay, waayo, waxaan is-idhi, Bal yaa og in Rabbigu ii roonaan doono iyo in kale si uu yarku iigu sii noolaado?
23 But now being dead, wherefore shoulde I now fast? Can I bring him againe any more? I shall goe to him, but he shall not returne to me.
Laakiinse haatan wuu dhintay, haddaba bal maxaan u soomaa? Miyaan isagii soo celin karaa? Anigaa u tegi doona, laakiinse isagu iima soo noqon doono.
24 And Dauid comforted Bath-sheba his wife, and went in vnto her, and lay with her, and she bare a sonne, and he called his name Salomon: also the Lord loued him.
Markaasaa Daa'uud qalbi qabowjiiyey naagtiisii Batshebac, oo intuu u tegey ayuu la seexday, markaasay wiil u dhashay, oo wuxuu magiciisii u bixiyey Sulaymaan. Kolkaasaa Rabbigu isagii jeclaaday,
25 For the Lord had sent by Nathan the Prophet: therefore he called his name Iedidiah, because the Lord loued him.
oo wuxuu u diray Nebi Naataan, magiciisiina wuxuu u bixiyey Yediidyaah, Rabbiga aawadiis.
26 Then Ioab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and tooke the citie of the kingdome.
Markaasaa Yoo'aab la diriray Rabbaah oo ahayd magaaladii reer Cammoon, wuuna qabsaday magaaladii reer boqor.
27 Therefore Ioab sent messengers to Dauid, saying, I haue fought against Rabbah, and haue taken the citie of waters.
Yoo'aabna wuxuu Daa'uud u diray wargeeyayaal, oo ku yidhi, Waxaan la diriray Rabbaah, waanan qabsaday magaaladii biyaha.
28 Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and besiege the city, that thou mayest take it, lest the victorie be attributed to me.
Haddaba dadka intiisa kale soo ururso, oo magaalada horteeda deg, oo qabso, waayo, waaba intaasoo intaan magaalada qabsado, laygu magacaabaaye.
29 So Dauid gathered al the people together, and went against Rabbah, and besieged it, and tooke it.
Markaasaa Daa'uud dadkii oo dhan soo urursaday, wuxuuna tegey ilaa Rabbaah, wuuna la diriray, oo qabsaday.
30 And he tooke their Kings crowne from his head, (which weighed a talent of golde, with precious stones) and it was set on Dauids head: and he brought away the spoyle of the citie in exceeding great abundance.
Boqorkoodii madaxiisii ayuu taajkii ka qaaday, oo miisaankiisuna wuxuu ahaa talanti dahab ah, dhagxan qaali ahna wuu lahaa; markaasaa Daa'uud madaxa loo saaray. Oo wuxuu dibadda u soo bixiyey dhacii magaalada oo aad iyo aad u badnaa.
31 And he carryed away the people that was therein, and put them vnder sawes, and vnder yron harowes, and vnder axes of yron, and cast them into the tyle kylne: euen thus did he with all the cities of the children of Ammon. Then Dauid and all the people returned vnto Ierusalem.

Markaasaa Daa'uud iyo dadkii oo dhammu ku noqdeen Yeruusaalem.
