2 Kings 15
1 In the seuen and twentieth yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel, began Azariah, sonne of Amaziah King of Iudah to reigne.
La vingt-septième année de Jéroboam Roi d'Israël, Hazaria fils d'Amatsia Roi de Juda régnait.
2 Sixteene yeere olde was he, when he was made King, and he reigned two and fiftie yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Iecholiah of Ierusalem.
Il était âgé de seize ans quand il commença à régner, et il régna cinquante-deux ans à Jérusalem; sa mère avait nom Jécolia, [et] était de Jérusalem.
3 And he did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
Il fit ce qui est droit devant l'Eternel, comme avait fait Amatsia son père.
4 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered, and burned incense in the hie places.
Tellement qu'il n'y eut que les hauts lieux qui ne furent point ôtés; le peuple sacrifiait encore et faisait des encensements sur les hauts lieux.
5 And the Lord smote the King: and he was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house apart, and Iotham the kings sonne gouerned the house, and iudged the people of the land.
r l'Eternel frappa le Roi, qui fut lépreux jusqu'au jour qu'il mourut, et il demeura dans une maison séquestrée; et Jotham fils du Roi avait la charge de la maison, jugeant le peuple du pays.
6 Concerning the rest of the actes of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
Le reste des faits de Hazaria, tout ce, dis-je, qu'il a fait, n'est-il pas écrit au Livre des Chroniques des Rois de Juda?
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buryed him with his fathers in the citie of Dauid, and Iotham his sonne reigned in his stead.
Et Hazaria s'endormit avec ses pères, et fut enseveli avec ses pères en la Cité de David, et Jotham son fils régna en sa place.
8 In the eyght and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah did Zachariah the sonne of Ieroboam reigne ouer Israel in Samaria sixe moneths,
La trente-huitième année de Hazaria Roi de Juda, Zacharie fils de Jéroboam commença à régner sur Israël à Samarie, [et il régna] six mois.
9 And did euill in the sight of the Lord, as did his fathers: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Et il fit ce gui déplaît à l'Eternel, comme avaient fait ses pères; il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam fils de Nébat, par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël.
10 And Shallum the sonne of Iabesh cospired against him, and smote him in the sight of the people, and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
Or Sallum fils de Jabés, fit une conspiration contre lui, et le frappa en la présence du peuple, et le tua, et il régna en sa place.
11 Concerning the rest of the actes of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Quant au reste des faits de Zacharie, voilà, ils sont écrits au Livre des Chroniques des Rois d'Israël.
12 This was the word of the Lord, which he spake vnto Iehu, saying, Thy sonnes shall sit on the throne of Israel vnto the fourth generation after thee. And it came so to passe.
C'est là la parole de l'Eternel laquelle il avait prononcée à Jéhu, en disant: Tes fils seront assis sur le trône d'Israël jusqu'à la quatrième génération; et il arriva ainsi.
13 Shallum the sonne of Iabesh began to reigne in the nine and thirtieth yeere of Vzziah King of Iudah: and he reigned the space of a moneth in Samaria.
Sallum fils de Jabés commença à régner la trente-neuvième année d'Hozias Roi de Juda, et il ne régna que l'espace d'un mois entier à Samarie.
14 For Menahem the sonne of Gadi went vp from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the sonne of Iabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
Car Ménahem fils de Gadi, qui était de Tirtsa, monta, et entra dans Samarie, et frappa Sallum fils de Jabés à Samarie, et le tua, et il régna en sa place.
15 Cocerning the rest of the acts of Shallum, and the treason which he wrought, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Quant au reste des faits de Sallum, et quant à la conspiration qu'il fit, voilà, ces choses sont écrites au Livre des Chroniques des Rois d'Israël.
16 Then Menahem destroyed Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coastes thereof from Tirzah, because they opened not to him, and he smote it, and ript vp all their women with childe.
Et Ménahem battit Tiphsah, et tous ceux qui étaient dedans, et dans sa contrée, depuis Tirtsa, parce qu'elle ne lui avait point ouvert [les portes], et les tua; et il fendit toutes les femmes grosses qui s'y trouvèrent.
17 The nine and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah, beganne Menahem the sonne of Gadi to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned ten yeeres in Samaria.
La trente-neuvième année de Hazaria Roi de Juda, Ménahem fils de Gadi, commença à régner sur Israël, [il régna] dix ans en Samarie.
18 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, and departed not all his dayes from the sinne of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Et il fit ce qui déplaît à l'Eternel; il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam fils de Nébat, par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël, durant tout son temps.
19 Then Pul the king of Asshur came against the land: and Menahem gaue Pul a thousand talents of siluer, that his hande might bee with him, and establish the kingdome in his hand.
Alors Pul, Roi des Assyriens, vint contre le pays; et Ménahem donna mille talents d'argent à Pul, afin qu'il lui aidât à affermir son Royaume entre ses mains.
20 And Menahem exacted the money in Israel, that all men of substance shoulde giue the King of Asshur fiftie shekels of siluer a piece: so the king of Asshur returned and taried not there in the land.
Et Ménahem tira cet argent d'Israël, de tous ceux qui étaient puissants en biens, pour le donner au Roi des Assyriens, de chacun cinquante sicles d'argent; ainsi le Roi des Assyriens s'en retourna, et ne s'arrêta point au pays.
21 Concerning the rest of the actes of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?

22 And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his sonne did reigne in his steade.
Et Ménahem s'endormit avec ses pères, et Pékachia son fils régna en sa place.
23 In ye fiftieth yere of Azariah king of Iudah, began Pekahiah the sonne of Menahem to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned two yere.
La cinquantième année d'Hazaria Roi de Juda, Pékachia fils de Ménahem commença à régner sur Israël à Samarie, [et il régna] deux ans.
24 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Et il fit ce qui déplaît à l'Eternel, et ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam fils de Nébat, par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël.
25 And Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, his captaine conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria in the place of the Kings palace with Argob and Arieh, and with him fiftie men of the Gileadites: so he killed him, and reigned in his steade.
Et Pékach fils de Rémalia son capitaine fit une conspiration contre lui, et le frappa à Samarie, au palais de la maison Royale, avec Argob et Arié, ayant avec soi cinquante hommes des enfants des Galaadites; ainsi il le tua, et il régna en sa place.
26 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Le reste des actions de Pékachia, tout ce, dis-je, qu'il a fait, voilà, il est écrit au Livre des Chroniques des Rois d'Israël.
27 In the two and fiftieth yere of Azariah King of Iudah began Pekah the sonne of Remaliah to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned twentie yeere.
La cinquante et deuxième année d'Hazaria Roi de Juda, Pékach fils de Rémalia commença à régner sur Israël à Samarie, [et il régna] vingt ans.
28 And he did euil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, that made Israel to sinne.
Et il fit ce qui déplaît à l'Eternel, il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam fils de Nébat, par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël.
29 In the dayes of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, and tooke Iion, and Abel, Beth-maachah, and Ianoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilah, and all the land of Naphtali, and caryed them away to Asshur.
Aux jours de Pékach Roi d'Israël, Tiglath-piléser Roi des. Assyriens, vint, et prit Hijon, et Abel-bethmahaca, et Janoah, et Kédés, et Hatsor, et Galaad, et la Galilée, même tout le pays de Nephthali, et en transporta le peuple en Assyrie.
30 And Hoshea the sonne of Elah wrought treason against Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, and smote him, and slewe him, and reigned in his stead in the twentieth yeere of Iotham the sonne of Vzziah.
Or Hosée, fils d'Ela, fit une conspiration contre Pékach fils de Rémalia, et le frappa, et le tua, et il régna en sa place la vingtième année de Jotham fils de Hozias.
31 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
Le reste des faits de Pékach, tout ce, dis-je, qu'il a fait, voilà, il est écrit au Livre des Chroniques des Rois d'Israël.
32 In the second yere of Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, began Iotham sonne of Vzziah King of Iudah to reigne.
La seconde année de Pékach fils de Rémalia Roi d'Israël, Jotham fils de Hozias, Roi de Juda commença à régner.
33 Fiue and twentie yeere olde was he, when he began to reigne, and he reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Ierusha the daughter of Zadok.
Il était âgé de vingt et cinq ans quand il commença à régner; et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem; sa mère avait nom Jérusa, [et] était fille de Tsadok.
34 And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Vzziah had done.
Il fit ce qui est droit devant l'Eternel; il fit comme Hozias son père avait fait.
35 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered and burnt incense in the hie places: he buylt the hyest gate of the house of the Lord.
De sorte qu'il n'y eut que les hauts lieux qui ne furent point ôtés, le peuple sacrifiait encore et faisait des encensements dans les hauts lieux; ce fut lui qui bâtit la plus haute porte de la maison de l'Eternel.
36 Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all that hee did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Iudah?
Le reste des faits de Jotham, tout ce, dis-je, qu'il a fait, n'est-il pas écrit au Livre des Chroniques des Rois de Juda?
37 In those dayes the Lord began to send against Iudah Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah.
En ces jours-là l'Eternel commença d'envoyer contre Juda Retsin Roi de Syrie et Pékach fils de Rémalia.
38 And Iotham slept with his fathers, and was buryed with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father, and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his steade.
Et Jotham s'endormit avec ses pères, et fut enseveli en la Cité de David son père, et Achaz son fils régna en sa place.
