2 Chronicles 22
1 And the inhabitants of Ierusalem made Ahaziah his yongest sonne King in his steade: for the armie that came with the Arabians to the campe, had slayne all the eldest: therefore Ahaziah the sonne of Iehoram King of Iudah reigned.
Ug ang mga pumoluyo sa Jerusalem naghimo kang Ochozias iyang kamanghuran nga anak nga lalake nga hari ilis kaniya: kay ang panon sa mga tawo ng ming-abut uban sa mga Arabianhon nganha sa campo mingpatay sa tanang mga magulang. Busa si Ochozias anak nga lalake ni Joram nga hari sa Juda naghari.
2 Two and fourtie yeere olde was Ahaziah when he began to reigne, and he reigned one yeere in Ierusalem. and his mothers name was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.
Kap-atan ug duha ka tuig ang panuigon ni Ochozias sa pagsugod niya paghari; ug siya naghari sa Jerusalem sa usa ka tuig: ug ang ngalan sa iyang inahan mao si Athalia ang anak nga babaye ni Omri.
3 He walked also in the wayes of the house of Ahab: for his mother counselled him to doe wickedly.
Siya usab naglakat sa mga dalan sa balay ni Achab; kay ang iyang inahan maoy magtatambag kaniya sa pagbuhat sa kadautan.
4 Wherefore he did euill in the sight of the Lord, like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellers after the death of his father, to his destruction.
Ug iyang gihimo kadtong dautan sa mga mata ni Jehova, ingon sa gihimo sa balay ni Achab; kay sila maoy iyang mga magtatambag sa tapus mamatay ang iyang amahan, ngadto sa iyang pagkalaglag.
5 And he walked after their counsel, and went with Iehoram the sonne of Ahab King of Israel to fight against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead: and the Aramites smote Ioram.
Siya usab naglakat sunod sa ilang pagtambag, ug miuban kang Joram anak nga lalake ni Achab nga hari sa Israel sa pagpakiggubat batok kang Hazael nga hari sa Siria didto sa Ramoth-galaad: ug si Joram gisamaran sa mga Sirianhon.
6 And he returned to be healed in Izreel, because of the woundes wherewith they had wounded him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael King of Aram. Nowe Azariah the sonne of Iehoram King of Iudah went downe to see Iehoram the sonne of Ahab at Izreel, because hee was diseased.
Ug siya mipauli ngadto sa Jezreel aron magapakaayo sa mga samad nga ilang gihatag kaniya didto sa Rama, sa diha nga nakig-away siya batok kang Hazael nga hari sa Siria. Ug si Azarias anak nga lalake ni Joram nga hari sa Juda miadto sa Jezreel aron sa pagpakigkita kang Joram anak nga lalake ni Achab, tungod kay siya nagdaut.
7 And the destruction of Ahaziah came of God in that he went to Ioram: for when he was come, he went forth with Iehoram against Iehu the sonne of Nimshi, whom the Lord had anointed to destroy the house of Ahab.
Karon ang pagkalaglag ni Ochozias iya sa Dios, nga niana siya miadto kang Joram: kay sa diha nga nahiabut na siya, siya miadto uban kang Joram batok kang Jehu anak nga lalake ni Nimsi, nga gidihogan ni Jehova aron sa pagbungkag sa balay ni Achab.
8 Therefore when Iehu executed iudgement vpon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Iudah and the sonnes of the brethren of Ahaziah that waited on Ahaziah, he slew them also.
Ug nahitabo, sa diha nga si Jehu naghimo sa paghukom ibabaw sa balay ni Achab, nga iyang hikaplagan ang mga principe sa Juda, ug ang mga anak nga lalake sa mga kaigsoonan ni Ochozias, nga nanag-alagad kang Ochozias, ug iyang gipamatay sila.
9 And he sought Ahaziah, and they caught him where he was hid in Samaria, and brought him to Iehu, and slewe him, and buryed him, because, sayd they, he is the sonne of Iehoshaphat, which sought the Lord with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah was not able to reteine the kingdome.
Ug iyang gipangita si Ochozias, ug ilang hingdakpan siya (karon siya nagtago didto sa Samaria), ug ilang gidala siya ngadto kang Jehu, ug gipatay siya; ug ilang gilubong siya, kay sila ming-ingon: Siya mao ang anak nga lalake ni Josaphat, nga nangita kang Jehova sa bug-os niyang kasingkasing. Ug ang balay ni Ochozias walay gahum sa pagdumala sa gingharian.
10 Therefore when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah sawe that her sonne was dead, shee arose and destroyed all the Kings seede of the house of Iudah.
Karon sa diha nga nakita ni Athalia inahan ni Ochozias nga ang iyang anak nga lalake patay na, siya mitindog ug gilaglag niya ang tanang harianong kaliwat sa balay sa Juda.
11 But Iehoshabeath the daughter of ye King, tooke Ioash the sonne of Ahaziah, and stale him from among the Kings sonnes, that shoulde be slayne, and put him and his nource in the bed chamber: so Iehoshabeath the daughter of King Iehoram the wife of Iehoiada the Priest (for shee was the sister of Ahaziah) hid him from Athaliah: so she slew him not.
Apan si Josabeth, ang anak nga babaye sa hari, midala kang Joas ang anak nga lalake ni Ochozias, ug gikawat siya pagdala gikan sa mga anak nga lalake sa hari nga gipamatay, ug gibutang siya ug ang iyang iwa sa usa ka lawak nga higdaanan. Busa si Josabeth, ang anak nga babaye ni hari Joram, ang asawa ni Joiada nga sacerdote (kay siya mao ang igsoon nga babaye ni Ochozias), nagtago kaniya gikan kang Athalia, mao nga siya wala niya mapatay.
12 And hee was with them hid in the house of God sixe yeeres, whiles Athaliah reigned ouer the land.
Ug siya diha uban kanila nga gitagoan diha sa balay sa Dios sulod sa unom ka tuig: ug si Athalia naghari sa ibabaw sa yuta.
