2 Chronicles 12
1 And when Rehoboam had established the kingdome and made it strong, hee forsooke the Lawe of the Lord, and all Israel with him.
Bayan mulkin Rehobowam ya kahu kamar sarki ya kuma yi ƙarfi, shi da dukan Isra’ila suka yi biris da dokar Ubangiji.
2 Therefore in the fift yeere of King Rehoboam, Shishak the King of Egypt came vp against Ierusalem (because they had transgressed against the Lord)
Domin sun yi rashin biyayya ga Ubangiji, saboda haka Shishak sarkin Masar ya yaƙi Urushalima a shekara ta biyar ta Sarki Rehobowam.
3 With twelue hundreth charets, and three score thousande horsemen, and the people were without nomber, that came with him from Egypt, euen the Lubims, Sukkiims, and the Ethiopians.
Da kekunan yaƙi dubu ɗaya da ɗari biyu da kuma mahayan dawakai dubu haɗe da mayaƙan Libiyawa, Sukkatawa da kuma Kushawa waɗanda suka wuce ƙidaya suka zo tare da shi daga Masar,
4 And he tooke the strong cities which were of Iudah, and came vnto Ierusalem.
ya ci biranen katanga na Yahuda har zuwa Urushalima.
5 Then came Shemaiah the Prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Iudah, that were gathered together in Hierusalem, because of Shishak, and sayde vnto them, Thus sayth the Lord, Ye haue forsaken me, therefore haue I also left you in the handes of Shishak.
Sai annabi Shemahiya ya zo wurin Rehobowam da kuma wajen shugabannin Yahuda waɗanda suka taru a Urushalima don tsoron Shishak, ya kuma faɗa musu, “Ga abin da Ubangiji ya ce, ‘Kun yi biris da ni; saboda haka, yanzu na bashe ku ga Shishak.’”
6 Then the princes of Israel, and the King humbled themselues, and sayde, The Lord is iust.
Shugabannin Isra’ila da sarki suka ƙasƙantar da kansu suka ce, “Ubangiji mai adalci ne.”
7 And when the Lord sawe that they humbled themselues, the worde of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, They haue humbled theselues, therefore I will not destroy them, but I will sende them deliuerance shortly, and my wrath shall not bee powred out vpon Ierusalem by the hand of Shishak.
Sa’ad da Ubangiji ya ga sun ƙasƙantar da kansu, sai wannan maganar Ubangiji ta zo wa Shemahiya, “Tun da yake sun ƙasƙantar da kansu, to, ba zan hallaka su ba, amma zan cece su, ba zan kwararo fushina ta hannun Shishak a kan Urushalima ba.
8 Neuerthelesse they shalbe his sernants: so shall they knowe my seruice, and the seruice of the kingdomes of the earth.
Duk da haka za su zama bayinsa, don su san bambanci tsakanin yin mini bauta da kuma yin wa sarakunan sauran ƙasashe bauta.”
9 Then Shishak King of Egypt came vp against Ierusalem, and tooke the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the Kings house he tooke euen all, and hee caried away the shields of golde, which Salomon had made.
Da Shishak sarkin Masar ya yaƙi Urushalima, sai ya kwashi ma’ajin haikalin Ubangiji da kuma ma’ajin fadan sarki. Ya kwashe kome da kome, har da garkuwoyin zinariyar da Solomon ya yi.
10 In stead whereof King Rehoboam made shieldes of brasse, and committed them to the handes of the chiefe of the garde, that wayted at the doore of the Kings house.
Sai sarki Rehobowam ya ƙera garkuwoyin tagulla a madadin na zinariya, ya sa su a hannun shugabannin matsara na mashigin gidan sarki.
11 And when the King entred into the house of the Lord, the garde came and bare them and brought them againe vnto the garde chamber.
Duk sa’ad da sarki ya tafi haikalin Ubangiji, masu tsaron sukan tafi tare da shi, suna riƙe da garkuwoyi, daga baya kuma su mai da su a ɗakin tsaro.
12 And because hee humbled himselfe, the wrath of the Lord turned from him, that hee woulde not destroy all together. And also in Iudah the things prospered.
Gama Rehobowam ya ƙasƙantar da kansa, fushin Ubangiji ya bar shi, ba a kuwa hallaka shi ƙaƙaf ba. Tabbatacce an yi’yan abubuwa masu kyau a Yahuda.
13 So King Rehoboam was strong in Ierusalem and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and fourtie yere olde, when he began to reigne, and reigned seuenteene yeres in Ierusalem, the citie which the Lord had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel to put his Name there. And his mothers name was Naamah an Ammonitesse.
Sarki Rehobowam ya kafa kansa daram a Urushalima, ya kuma ci gaba a matsayin sarki. Yana da shekara arba’in da ɗaya sa’ad da ya zama sarki, ya kuma yi mulki shekara goma sha bakwai a Urushalima, birnin da Ubangiji ya zaɓa daga dukan kabilan Isra’ila wanda zai sa Sunansa. Sunan mahaifiyarsa Na’ama ce, ita mutuniyar Ammon ce.
14 And he did euill: for hee prepared not his heart to seeke the Lord.
Ya aikata mugunta domin bai sa zuciyarsa ga neman Ubangiji ba.
15 The actes also of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the booke of Shemaiah the Prophet, and Iddo the Seer, in rehearsing the genealogie? and there was warre alway betweene Rehoboam and Ieroboam.
Game da ayyukan mulkin Rehobowam, daga farko zuwa ƙarshe, ba a rubuce suke a tarihin Shemahiya annabi da Iddo mai gani wanda yake zancen zuriyoyi ba? Aka kasance da yaƙe-yaƙe tsakanin Rehobowam da Yerobowam.
16 And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried in the citie of Dauid, and Abiiah his sonne reigned in his stead.
Rehobowam ya huta da kakanninsa aka kuma binne shi a Birnin Dawuda. Abiya ɗansa kuma ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
