1 Samuel 26
1 Againe the Ziphims came vnto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doeth not Dauid hide him selfe in the hill of Hachilah before Ieshimon?
१जीफी लोक शौलाकडे गिबा येथे येऊन म्हणाले, “यशीमोनासमोर हकीला डोंगरात दावीद लपला आहे की नाही?”
2 Then Saul arose, and went downe to the wildernes of Ziph, hauing three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, for to seeke Dauid in the wildernesse of Ziph.
२तेव्हा शौल उठला व आपल्याबरोबर इस्राएलाच्या तीन हजार निवडक मनुष्यांना घेऊन दावीदाचा शोध करायला जीफ रानात गेला.
3 And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Ieshimon by the way side. Now Dauid abode in the wildernesse, and he sawe that Saul came after him into the wildernesse.
३शौलाने यशीमोनासमोरील मार्गाजवळ हकीला डोंगरावर तळ दिला; तेव्हा दावीद रानात राहत होता आणि त्याने पाहिले की आपला पाठलाग करायला शौल रानात आला आहे.
4 (For Dauid had sent out spies, and vnderstood, that Saul was come in very deede)
४म्हणून दावीदाने हेर पाठवले आणि शौल खचित आला आहे असे त्यास समजले.
5 Then Dauid arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched, and when Dauid beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the sonne of Ner which was his chiefe captaine, (for Saul lay in the fort, and the people pitched round about him)
५मग दावीद उठून शौलाने तळ दिला होता त्या ठिकाणावर आला आणि जेथे शौल व त्याचा सेनापती नेराचा मुलगा अबनेर हे निजले होते ते ठिकाण दावीदाने पाहिले; शौल तर छावणीत निजला होता व त्याच्यासभोवती लोकांनी तळ दिला होता.
6 Then spake Dauid, and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the sonne of Zeruiah, brother to Ioab, saying, Who will go downe with me to Saul to the hoste? Then Abishai said, I will goe downe with thee.
६तेव्हा अहीमलेख हित्ती व सरूवेचा मुलगा अबीशय यवाबाचा भाऊ यांना दावीदाने उत्तर देऊन म्हटले, “छावणीत शौलाकडे खाली माझ्याबरोबर कोण येईल?” तेव्हा अबीशय म्हणाला, “मी तुझ्याबरोबर खाली येईन.”
7 So Dauid and Abishai came downe to the people by night: and beholde, Saul lay sleeping within the fort, and his speare did sticke in the ground at his head: and Abner and the people lay round about him.
७मग दावीद व अबीशय रात्री लोकांजवळ गेले आणि पाहा शौल छावणीत निजला आहे व त्याचा भाला त्याच्या उशाजवळ भूमीत रोवलेला व त्याच्यासभोवती अबनेर व लोक निजलेले आहेत.
8 Then saide Abishai to Dauid, God hath closed thine enemie into thine hande this day: now therefore, I pray thee, let me smite him once with a speare to the earth, and I will not smite him againe.
८तेव्हा अबीशय दावीदाला म्हणाला, “आज परमेश्वराने तुझा शत्रू तुझ्या हाती दिला आहे; तर आता मी तुला विनंती करतो मला भाल्याने एकदाच घाव मारून त्यास भूमीवर ठार करून दे, मी त्यास दुसरा घाव मारणार नाही.”
9 And Dauid sayde to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can lay his hand on the Lordes anoynted, and be giltlesse?
९पण दावीद अबीशयाला म्हणाला, “त्यांचा वध करू नकोस कारण परमेश्वराच्या अभिषिक्तावर आपला हात टाकून कोण निर्दोष राहील?”
10 Moreouer Dauid said, As the Lord liueth, eyther the Lord shall smite him, or his day shall come to dye, or he shall descend into battel, and perish.
१०दावीद म्हणाला, “परमेश्वर जिवंत आहे; परमेश्वर त्यास मारील किंवा त्याचा मरण्याचा दिवस येईल किंवा तो खाली लढाईत जाऊन नष्ट होईल.
11 The Lord keepe mee from laying mine hand vpon the Lordes anointed: but, I pray thee, take now the speare that is at his head, and the pot of water, and let vs goe hence.
११मी आपला हात परमेश्वराच्या अभिषिक्तावर टाकावा असे परमेश्वराने माझ्याकडून घडू देऊ नये; परंतु आता मी तुला विनंती करतो की, तू त्याच्या उशाजवळचा भाला व पाण्याचा लोटा घे; मग आपण जाऊ.”
12 So Dauid tooke the speare and the pot of water from Sauls head, and they gate them away, and no man saw it, nor marked it, neither did any awake, but they were all asleepe: for the Lord had sent a dead sleepe vpon them.
१२तेव्हा शौलाच्या उशाजवळून भाला व पाण्याचा लोटा हे दावीदाने घेतले मग कोणाला न दिसता व कोणाला न कळता व कोणी जागा न होता ते निघून गेले कारण ते सर्व झोपेत होते. परमेश्वराकडून त्याच्यांवर गाढ झोप आली होती.
13 Then Dauid went vnto the other side, and stoode on the toppe of an hill a farre off, a great space being betweene them.
१३नंतर दावीद पलीकडे डोंगराच्या शिखरावर जाऊन दूर उभा राहिला आणि त्याच्यामध्ये मोठे अंतर होते;
14 And Dauid cryed to the people, and to Abner the sonne of Ner, saying, Hearest thou not, Abner? Then Abner answered, and said, Who art thou that cryest to the King?
१४तेव्हा दावीदाने लोकांस व नेराचा मुलगा अबनेर याला हाक मारली. तो म्हणाला, “अबनेरा तू उत्तर करीत नाहीस काय?” तेव्हा अबनेराने उत्तर देऊन म्हटले, “राजाला हाक मारणारा असा तू कोण आहेस?”
15 And Dauid said to Abner, Art not thou a man? and who is like thee in Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy lorde the King? for there came one of the folke in to destroy the King thy lord.
१५मग दावीद अबनेराला म्हणाला, “तू वीर पुरुष नाहीस काय आणि इस्राएलात तुझ्यासारखा कोण आहे? तर तू आपला प्रभू राजा याच्यावर पहारा का केला नाही? कारण लोकातला कोणीएक तुझा प्रभू राजा याचा घात करायला आला होता.
16 This is not well done of thee: as the Lord liueth, ye are worthy to dye, because ye haue not kept your master the Lordes Anointed: and now see where the Kings speare is, and the pot of water that was at his head.
१६ही जी गोष्ट तू केली ती बरी नाही; परमेश्वर जिवंत आहे. तुम्ही आपला प्रभू परमेश्वराचा अभिषिक्त याला राखले नाही, म्हणून तुम्ही मरायला योग्य आहा. तर आता पाहा राजाचा भाला व पाण्याचा लोटा त्याच्या उशाजवळ होता तो कोठे आहे?”
17 And Saul knewe Dauids voyce, and sayde, Is this thy voyce, my sonne Dauid? And Dauid sayde, It is my voyce, my lorde O King.
१७तेव्हा शौल दावीदाची वाणी ओळखून म्हणाला, “माझ्या मुला दावीदा ही तुझी वाणी आहे काय?” दावीद म्हणाला, “माझ्या प्रभू राजा, ही माझी वाणी आहे.”
18 And he sayde, Wherefore doeth my lorde thus persecute his seruant? for what haue I done? or what euill is in mine hand?
१८तो म्हणाला, “माझा प्रभू आपल्या दासाच्या पाठीस का लागला आहे? मी तर काय केले आहे? माझ्या हाती काय वाईट आहे?
19 Now therefore, I beseech thee, let my lord the King heare the wordes of his seruant. If the Lord haue stirred thee vp against me, let him smell the sauour of a sacrifice: but if the children of men haue done it, cursed be they before the Lord: for they haue cast me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the Lord, saying, Goe, serue other gods.
१९तर आता मी तुम्हास विनंती करतो माझ्या प्रभू राजाने आपल्या दासाचे बोलणे ऐकावे: परमेश्वराने तुम्हास माझ्यावर चेतवले असले तर त्याने अर्पण मान्य करावे. परंतु मनुष्याच्या संतानांनी चेतवले असले, तर ती परमेश्वराच्यासमोर शापित होवोत. कारण आज मला परमेश्वराच्या वतनात वाटा मिळू नये म्हणून त्यांनी मला बाहेर लावून म्हटले की, जा अन्य देवांची सेवा कर.
20 Nowe therefore let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the Lord: for the King of Israel is come out to seeke a flea, as one would hunt a partridge in the mountaines.
२०तर आता माझे रक्त परमेश्वराच्या समक्षतेपासून दूर भूमीवर पडू नये; कारण जसा कोणी डोंगरावर तितराची शिकार करतो तसा, एका पिसवेचा शोध करण्यास इस्राएलाचा राजा निघून आला आहे.”
21 Then sayde Saul, I haue sinned: come againe, my sonne Dauid: for I will doe thee no more harme, because my soule was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I haue done foolishly, and haue erred exceedingly.
२१तेव्हा शौल म्हणाला, “मी पाप केले आहे; माझ्या मुला दावीदा माघारा ये; माझा जीव आज तुझ्या दृष्टीने मोलवान होता, म्हणून मी यापुढे तुझे वाईट करणार नाही; पाहा मी मूर्खपणाने वागून फार अपराध केला आहे.”
22 Then Dauid answered, and saide, Beholde the Kings speare, let one of the yong men come ouer and set it.
२२मग दावीदाने असे उत्तर केले की, “हे राजा पाहा हा भाला, तरुणातील एकाने इकडे येऊन तो घ्यावा.
23 And let the Lord rewarde euery man according to his righteousnesse and faithfulnesse: for the Lord had deliuered thee into mine handes this day, but I woulde not lay mine hand vpon the Lords anointed.
२३परमेश्वर प्रत्येक मनुष्यास त्याचा न्याय व त्याचे विश्वासूपण याप्रमाणे परत करो. कारण आज परमेश्वराने तुम्हास माझ्या हाती दिले असता मी आपला हात परमेश्वराच्या अभिषिक्तावर टाकला नाही.
24 And beholde, like as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes: so let my life be set by in the eyes of the Lord, that he may deliuer me out of all tribulation.
२४पाहा जसा तुमचा जीव माझ्या दृष्टीने मोलवान होता, तसा माझा जीव परमेश्वराच्या दृष्टीने मोलवान होवो; आणि तो सर्व संकटातून सोडवो.”
25 Then Saul said to Dauid, Blessed art thou, my sonne Dauid: for thou shalt doe great things, and also preuaile. So Dauid went his way, and Saul returned to his place.
२५तेव्हा शौल दावीदाला म्हणाला, “माझ्या मुला दावीदा तू आशीर्वादित हो” तू मोठी कार्ये करशील व प्रबल होशील. मग दावीद आपल्या वाटेने गेला आणि शौलही आपल्या ठिकाणी परत गेला.
