1 Peter 3
1 Likewise let the wiues bee subiect to their husbands, that euen they which obey not the worde, may without the worde be wonne by the conuersation of the wiues,

2 While they beholde your pure conuersation, which is with feare.

3 Whose apparelling, let it not be that outwarde, with broyded heare, and golde put about, or in putting on of apparell:
Ixoqibꞌ, man are ta jeꞌl kixkaꞌyik we kiwiqiqej iwibꞌ rukꞌ qꞌana pwaq rachiꞌl chachal xuqujeꞌ kikoj atzꞌyaq paqal taq rajil.
4 But let it bee the hidde man of the heart, which consisteth in the incorruption of a meeke and quiet spirite, which is before God a thing much set by.
Xane are chuxoq ijeꞌlal ri kel loq pa taq iwanimaꞌ are waꞌ ri maj ukꞌisik xuqujeꞌ sibꞌalaj kajororik. Are waꞌ ri sibꞌalaj kꞌo uqꞌij choch ri Dios.
5 For euen after this maner in time past did the holy women, which trusted in God, tire them selues, and were subiect to their husbands.
Jewaꞌ xenoꞌjinik ri tyoxalaj taq ixoqibꞌ ojer, xkubꞌi kikꞌuꞌx chirij ri Dios, xeꞌkinimaj ri e kachajilal.
6 As Sara obeyed Abraham, and called him Sir: whose daughters ye are, whiles yee doe well, not being afraide of any terrour.
Jeꞌ chixnoꞌjinoq jetaq ri xnoꞌjin ri Sara, xunimaj ri Abraham, wajaw xcha che. Ix ix ral ri Sara we kibꞌan ri utzilal man rukꞌ taj xibꞌin ibꞌ.
7 Likewise ye husbands, dwel with them as men of knowledge, giuing honour vnto the woman, as vnto the weaker vessell, euen as they which are heires together of the grace of life, that your prayers be not interrupted.
Je xuqujeꞌ ix achajilom, qas chichomaj na ri kibꞌan kukꞌ ri iwixoqilal, nim chiꞌwilaꞌ, jeriꞌ rumal cher jun ixoq man ko taj. Ri achi xuqujeꞌ ri ixoq junam aꞌreꞌ aꞌjchoqꞌe ri ujeꞌlal ri kꞌaslemal. We utz kixnoꞌjinik maj kaqꞌaten riꞌ ri ichꞌawem cho ri Dios.
8 Finally, be ye all of one minde: one suffer with another: loue as brethren: bee pitifull: bee courteous,
Kisbꞌal rech chixkꞌoloq pa utzilal kukꞌ konojel ri winaq; chitzijoj chibꞌil taq iwibꞌ ri kꞌax xuqujeꞌ ri kiꞌkotemal ri kiriqo, chiloqꞌaj iwibꞌ, cheꞌl ikꞌuꞌx chike nikꞌaj chik, xuqujeꞌ chimochꞌo iwibꞌ.
9 Not rendring euil for euill, neither rebuke for rebuke: but contrarywise blesse, knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should be heires of blessing.
Mitzalij ukꞌaxel ri etzelal ri kabꞌan chiꞌwe, xane chiꞌtewechiꞌj ri kakibꞌan kꞌax chiꞌwe jeriꞌ rumal ri ix, ix sikꞌital chi rechabꞌexik ri tewechibꞌal.
10 For if any man long after life, and to see good dayes, let him refraine his tongue from euill, and his lippes that they speake no guile.
Qas tzij: Ri winaq ri karaj kukꞌaslebꞌej ri ukꞌaslemal pa jaꞌmaril, rajawaxik qas kunaꞌ na ri kubꞌij, chuqꞌila ribꞌ chubꞌixik bꞌanoj taq tzij.
11 Let him eschew euil, and do good: let him seeke peace, and follow after it.
Chuqꞌila ribꞌ chubꞌanik etzelal, are chubꞌana ri utzilal. Chutzukuj xuqujeꞌ chutereneꞌj ubꞌanik ri jaꞌmaril.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are ouer the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their prayers: and the face of the Lord is against them that do euil.
Jeriꞌ rumal cher ri Dios keꞌrilo ri e sukꞌ taq winaq, xuqujeꞌ kuta ri kichꞌawem, xa kꞌu keꞌretzelaj ri kakibꞌan etzelal.
13 And who is it that will harme you, if ye follow that which is good?
¿Jachin ta kꞌu riꞌ ri kabꞌanow kꞌax chiꞌwe we are kibꞌan ri utzilal?
14 Notwithstanding blessed are ye, if ye suffer for righteousnes sake. Yea, feare not their feare, neither be troubled.
Utz iwe we kiriq kꞌax rumal ri utzilal ri kibꞌano, mixiꞌj iwibꞌ xuqujeꞌ miya iwibꞌ pa xibꞌixik rumal ri kexibꞌin ri winaq.
15 But sanctifie the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready alwayes to giue an answere to euery man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekenesse and reuerence,
Xane are nim chiwila ri Cristo ri iwAjaw ri kꞌo pa iwanimaꞌ. Rukꞌ utzilal chibꞌij chike ri winaq ri ketow chiꞌwe jachin chirij jeqel wi ikꞌuꞌx.
16 Hauing a good coscience, that whe they speake euill of you as of euill doers, they may be ashamed, which slander your good conuersation in Christ.
Chibꞌana rukꞌ utzilal xuqujeꞌ rukꞌ mekꞌekꞌem, man rukꞌ ta itzel taq chomabꞌal, rech kekꞌix ri winaq kakibꞌan bꞌanoj tzij chiꞌwij xuqujeꞌ ri itzel ketzijon chiꞌwe.
17 For it is better (if the will of God be so) that ye suffer for well doing, then for euil doing.
We karaj ri Dios kiriq kꞌax, kiriq riꞌ, are katanik kiriq kꞌax rumal ri utzilal ri kibꞌano, cho we kiriq kꞌax rumal ri etzelal ri kibꞌano.
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sinnes, the iust for the vniust, that he might bring vs to God, and was put to death concerning the flesh, but was quickened by the spirit.
Jeriꞌ rumal cher ri Cristo xa junmul xkam rumal ronojel ri makaj, ri sukꞌ xujach ribꞌ kumal kech ri man e sukꞌ taj rech kixukꞌam bꞌik rukꞌ ri Dios. Ri Cristo xuriq ri kamikal pa ri utyoꞌjal, ri Uxlabꞌixel kꞌut xukꞌastajisaj uwach.
19 By the which hee also went, and preached vnto the spirits that are in prison.
Pa ri Uxlabꞌixel xeꞌ chutzijoxik ri utz laj tzij chike ri uxlabꞌal ri e tzꞌapatzꞌoj.
20 Which were in time passed disobedient, when once the long suffering of God abode in the dayes of Noe, while the Arke was preparing, wherein fewe, that is, eight soules were saued in the water.
Areꞌ taq waꞌ ri uxlabꞌal ri man xeniman taj pa taq ri uqꞌij ri Noé are tajin kuyak ri arca, ri Dios xerayeꞌj na kakikꞌex kikꞌuꞌx. Pa ri arca xa e wajxaqibꞌ winaq xekolotajik, are ri jaꞌ xekolowik.
21 Whereof the baptisme that nowe is, answering that figure, (which is not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but a confident demaunding which a good conscience maketh to God) saueth vs also by the resurrection of Iesus Christ,
Ri jaꞌ kajunumataj rukꞌ ri qasanaꞌ ri kixukolo. Ri qasanaꞌ man are ta kuchꞌaj ri tyoꞌjal, xane kubꞌan jun rayibꞌal rech chꞌajchꞌojil re ri qachomabꞌal choch ri Dios. We koltajem xbꞌantajik xa rumal ri ukꞌastajibꞌal wach ri Jesucristo.
22 Which is at the right hand of God, gone into heauen, to whom the Angels, and Powers, and might are subiect.
Ri Cristo xpaqiꞌ pa ri kaj, xeꞌtꞌuyul pa uwiqiqꞌabꞌ ri Dios, qꞌatal tzij pa kiwiꞌ konojel ri angelibꞌ xuqujeꞌ ri nimaꞌq taq qꞌatal tzij xuqujeꞌ ronojel chuqꞌabꞌ.
